Ami always does such an amazing job when she braids my hair and she provides amazing service! I'm always laughing having a good time and before I know it she's done with my hair! Good service and good vibes!

I have gotten my hair braided many times over the years, but Ami is by far the best! She was super quick and neat with my micros, getting done much earlier than the allotted time. She was also very knowledgeable about hair care it’s the first time I’ve had them done where They weren’t painfully tight.. we are lucky to have her out here in the suburbs and I will be telling my friends and family all about her. The shop is clean and comfortable. Client for life!!!

The micro braids Ami did for me today are beautiful! I have received many compliments on them already! She doesn’t braid too tight and did her very best to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Her shop is very clean and easy to find. I will definitely be coming back again to get my hair braided!

I found Ami on styleseat.com. She answered my questions that I had in a timely manner and was very polite. She was very punctual and she showed me the products that she would be using on my hair. She made sure to give me exactly what I wanted. I love my Senegalese twist and my hair is not too tight. Ami is professional, she braids neatly and swiftly. Highly recommended!

I've been to Yaye Ami African Braid Shop twice, the 1st visit was for a French braided updo, which I absolutely loved! Ami really did her business this time around also! Today she did my micro braids with a excellent quality of wavy human hair, it feels so soft, not stiff and heavy like I've received from previous shops in the past. If you're seeking a real professional with attention to details and a overall sweet personality in a pleasant atmosphere, this is it! Even the clientele are friendly and polite! The owner/stylist is a sweetheart also! I've found my shop for life, give them a try, I promise that you will too! 😉😊

Was my first time going to a hair salon to get my hair braided and it was a great experience. Ami was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. My hair came out very neat, workspace was very clean and she did an amazing job. Will definitely be returning!

I just moved from Atlanta to Illinois and been looking for someone to braid my hair. Most of the stylist I came across were charging way to much for the style I wanted. Then I came across Amy. May I say it was the best choice I could have made. She was very nice and professional. While braiding my hair she asked me was it to tight and also made sure that I was comfortable while sitting in the chair. Not only did she do an amazing job with my hair. She even went above and beyond. It was snowing while I was getting my hair done. Once she finished she went outside and removed the snow off my car.

This is my second time going to Amy, and will go back. Amy is very professional and pleasant. She works fast, and her braids are very neat.
