Pub 500

Service was great! She came to our table several times checking on us. My Sloppy Joe was good, but could have been a little warmer. The mashed potatoes with turkey gravy was really good. All three of us enjoyed our meals.

Excellent stop on Mankato for walleye. Pan seared or beer battered. Delicious. Drinks, service, clean, all top rate.

I'd fight a rabid bobcat for one of their Reubens.

Homemade corned beef, butter toasted bread, crunchy sauerkraut, perfection.

Staff was super friendly, the beer was quick, cold and refreshing, and the ambiance was great. That reuben though.... 10 thumbs up.

Good food, A little more sophisticated than standard pub fare. Their roasted Turkey is a speciality and it is Good. Free parking in the back. A lovely patio in front. A Fire place inside and a pit on the patio. Worth the stop.

It's a very nice restaurant with fantastic staff, drinks, and food. It has a very nice atmosphere and it's never been anything but a great experience every time I'm here. Olivia and Derek were fantastic servers and they did a wonderful job, despite there being so many of us.

Came in last night for my wife's birthday and her and our server talked the whole time. She had a great laugh talking to Caleb about all of his holiday decorations. Great energy great food and even better servers

Food was delicious and service was excellent. We had the poutine as the appetizer - every part of it was practically perfect. The cheese curds came out whole and as it was sitting on the plate the heat of the gravy caused them to start melting exactly as it should. For the main dish I had the fried chicken "hotdish". This was not my usual sort of order, but I really enjoyed it. I also got the bread pudding for desert which was really good too. My wife got fish and chips which I got to try some and they were some of the best I've had since moving to the US from the UK.

It's classy. It has old english woodwork that adorns the wall and halls. Its on the corner and smack dab in the middle of cherry and front st nearby is a grocery store an Arena a strip club and giant clock in the park. It almost has a big city 1920s feel to it. Its a safe environment for families, friends and people on summer vacation seeing concerts.

First time here, it was bingo night. There was a good crowd, Nate was excellent behind the bar. Had the vegan burger and they prepared it well with creative condiments

Came into Pub 500 because it was recommended by our friends. I ordered the hickory burger and it was awesome! Connor was our server and we had 10 guests and he handled it phenomenally. We never had an empty drink, Connor did fantastic with the service.

The fries were perfect, crisp and browned on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The beer batter fish was perfectly done and light on the batter. The turkey sandwich tasted like it came right off a Thanksgiving turkey. We tried three different sauces which were all good.
I am ready to go back right now.
Moderately expensive but worth it.

Great place for drinks and they serve real wine in real glasses (hard to find in Mankato if you’re down town) My mom and I recently had dinner together and I wanted a glass of wine so we went to Pub. My mom is a very particular person when it comes to atmosphere, food warmth, and quality of food. We sat by the fireplace, ordered our dinner at 9 pm and it came out fast and HOT and delicious. (She ALWAYS sticks her finger in it to see if it’s a hot meal) and this meal was piping hot! We shared a couple of very tasty things (mushroom burger - I want one right now) and had they most amazing dessert. Levi was our server and he was so attentive and funny and made me want to take the time to leave a review on google.

Emily took such good care of us tonight. She was one of the best servers I’ve ever had!! Super kind and very accommodating.

I could not say better things about this establishment. Food is incredible every time. Drinks are the best downtown. Service is great especially when Laura is bartending she gives a great experience.

The poutine was AMAZING. The perfect fries, delicious gravy, cheese curds mixed throughout so you have squeaky on top and melty on bottom. Not super salty or greasy. Absolute heaven!

Visiting from out of town and found this gem! I had the fish and chips which were amazing btw but what has brought me here to share my experience was the excellent service I got from Ameri ! Fast, knowledgeable of the menu and all around fun to talk to! I’ll definitely be returning here when I’m back in town

I had the fish and chips, my standard trial by fire "first meal" if they offer it... and yup, it was VERY perfectly cooked and quite tasty too... yum yum yum!!!
