P J's Liquor Emporium Inc

PJ'S has a nice selection of beer, wine, seltzers, liquor & mixers. Great people working there & local owners. It is easy to find items because the place isn't HUGE and it is well organized. They sell lottery tickets. They have a wine club (also valid at Joseph's Liquor): 1 stamp for every $5 spent! I don't remember what it earns you at the moment, and don't have a card handy, but when it's full the workers know the drill. I like PJ's parking, too! Easy in and out.

I love that this store is not too big to have a consistent staff who doesn't switch every time I visit. Yet not too small to have great selection of spirits. Particularly their Rum and Gin variety is even better than MGM (which is mostly flavored stuff), and also found some amazing deals for quality Bourbon and Irish. Prices are the best in town, tied with Cub West Liquor. Liqueur/modifier selection is only second to MGM and better than anywhere else. But PJ's is undoubtedly the best store in town for having the most pleasent and kindest staff I've met out of all 10 liquor stores in Mankato. (At least for stocking your home cocktail bar and not just to get a pint of beer).

Hands down best liquor store in Mankato/ North Mankato area, large selection, great prices. I know Mankato Magazine says MGM is best but guess what? They're wrong 😉

I used to shop at MGM thinking they were the cheapest in town, but not anymore. I found this gem in lower North Mankato. This place rocks! Always has a table with blow-out deals and I mean BLOW-OUT DEALS (bottles of booze for $4.99 - where do you ever find that!) and has many items cheaper then MGM ad items. Every day 2/$28 on all 12 pack seltzers is a great buy and you can mix and match them with teas. Brock and his wonderful staff will take care of you everytime you visit.👍👍 Highly recommend you give them a try. Brock makes buying booze as fun as it gets with his up beat attitude and he never seems to have a bad day.

they had a decent selection with average prices. the lady working was super friendly and joking with everybody and helping us out. They even went into the back room to get Rumchata for my friend! cant beat that konda customer service. If i lived near by this would be My liquor store.

Possibly the best liquor store in Lower North Mankato. The cashier and owner are always especially nice. And on top of that, the craft beer/cider selection rivals even that of MGM. Maybe not in quantity, but definitely in quality.

Great little corner liquor store for a quick stop for a case or bottle of wine on the way. Staff is helpful and easy to get along with.
