Out of the Blue Seafood

A humble looking place that surprised us with how great the food was. The fish and chips were delicious with a perfectly thin and crispy batter and tender, fresh fish inside. Really impressed! Definitely will come back

Been meaning to write this review for some time. We stopped here on a trip east and loved the place. Casual but cool. We feasted on fried calamari (excellent), sea scallops (also excellent) and broiled flounder, which my wife enjoyed. We'd come back next time in the area.

If your looking for great fresh seafood then this is the place. We came here as a group and there was plenty of seating available. Great spot if your looking to eat in or take it home. I love how light and creamy their New England Clam Chowder was.

Excellent fresh seafood! Plenty of room to sit/relax and quick service. The oysters were so fresh and delicious and the lobster roll was one of the BEST I had while visiting the Hamptons! Highly recommend!

A wonderful casual dining restaurant with simple, well-prepared fresh fish (there are meat options too), potatoes, vegetables and salads, as well. I am always impressed by the attentive, helpful, knowledgeable friendly young men who work here. Great place!

This was my 3rd time dining here . I had the halibut dinner with steamed potato and grilled zucchini .Absolutly delicious! I had French fries added and 1 glass of wine with 20% came to $43.00 . Everything was fresh and worth every penny . Portions were perfect ! Staff was amazing . After a great day in the Hamptons this was great ending to a beautiful day.

This place is absolutely amazing everyone was very kind that worked there. A few tables and chairs inside also you can pick up raw sea food to go. Food was very fairly priced and some of the best I had the whole time I was in the Hamptons.

This little spot offers fresh seafood to either take home to prepare yourself or enjoy take out or dine-in options. I always enjoy the Fried Oysters while my hubby goes for a bucket of steamers, corn on the cob and an IPA beer on tap here. It is casual dining with paper plates and disposable utensils, but the food could easily be served in a fine dining restaurant. They have most fish in the case and live fish and lobster in tanks too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and are conveniently located near the Shinnecock Canal.

Stopped in last night with the family for birthday dinners. I got the seafood Medley bucket (clams, steamers, shrimp, and mussels). Can’t begin to explain how perfect the food was cooked and tasted delicious. Finished the whole bucket. Everyone at the table finished their plates! Make sure you get the cocktail sauce to. It’s got a nice kick to it. Thank god my family has a house out there because I will be stopping in multiple times throughout the summer.

I’ve driven by this place many times and hadn’t stopped. Until recently I did, and what a lovely surprise. The food was good, the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. Will go back.

Fresh seafood, huge portions, quick & friendly service, and great prices. Cant beat it anywhere else in the area.

We’ve always enjoyed Joe’s Out of the Blue in Hampton Bays as a local seafood spot both for fresh seafood amen! And also for fresh fish, shellfish and other! My favorite is the fried flounder fish sandwich with fries, but the steamed buckets, fish and chips and fish tacos are all top of the list.

If you really want good seafood and are willing to overlook some incidentals as plastic silverware and no table cloths this is the place to go. The food is excellent and well prepared, the prices are reasonable and the portions are large.

Came all the way from Brooklyn just for a drive and found this place. Home style food, fresh, great, clean, and not too expensive. Highly recommended.

Loved the steamers and crabcakes. Great little place for a quick bite. Partial table service but friendly and helpful staff.

If you want to eat.. not to go out to eat . this is the best fish place in the Hampton.

Simply delicious. What an amazing find. Paper plate kind of place but so worth it. Their lobster bisque is on the money.
