I'm an out of towner but I always make a point to stop in here. I can only speak when it comes to whiskey but in my experiences near annually for the last several years they have the best prices in the area and excellent selection.

I stopped in looking for a particular item, and they were out of stock. Without asking the staff actually called two competing stores in the area to see if they had it in stock. What can I say. Just wow.

How silly to review a place based on its sidewalk and a slip and fall. For me, their sidewalks were great, but thats not really important when you want to buy a wine is it?
This store has an excellent selection of wines of all prices, including a great selection of Long Island wines--all at reasonable prices (and all, might I add, at lower prices than the North Fork wineries that manufacture the wines sold here).
In addition, they have a great selection of liquors, both popular and esoteric, including rums and vodkas from NY State, which make a nice souvenir.
The hours are reasonable and the staff are very amiable.
