Prairie Ridge Park

Nice nature trail. Not a groomed trail. It has dips and divets here and there and will have fallen trees crossing the trail now and then. Only one on the day we walked it through.
The app I used said it was 1.67 miles around the outermost trails. There are some that split off and connect back up. Trails are nice and wide, not single lanes.
Has parking big enough for several vehicles, a dog poop bag dispenser, trash can, and a few benches here and there.
No restrooms.

Very private & beautiful trail. It’s a hidden gem & it’s not paved, which is easier on my knees. My dog really enjoyed this park. The trail isn’t as manicured as others in the area, but that’s part of the charm for me.

This park is just a wooded trail. It's not paved or groomed. It's just a couple paths through the woods. Yes occasionally a tree will be down or some brush might be in the path. Obviously this is not for everyone, but can be a great spot to take your dog for a walk.

Great hiking. Rustic trail, occasionally downed tree to climb over. Wooded area with prairie and a pond. Be aware there are cockleburrs along the trail. Hiking boots recommended. No amenities except a few scattered benches. Unpaved parking area

Walk there every work day at lunch. Peaceful dog park.

What a gem. About 1 mile trail.

Nice little park. 1.4 miles or so. Besides the noise from 94 and Manning, it is quiet and beautiful. We like hiking where it's rustic... No paved trails here. Some benches.

Holy mosquitoes! I’m sure this is great in the winter, and I plan to return then, but not before all mosquitoes have died. Nice little 1.5 mile loop from the sounds of it, but I only walked about 1/4 mi in before I couldn’t handle the bugs (didn’t have bug spray but doubt that’d solve it enough I’d like to walk it in late summer). Other than that, really lovely wooded area and didn’t see anyone else. Trails were certainly groomed, so not sure why others say they aren’t. My dog really enjoyed the trail and was sad to leave.

Trail through the woods with a loop around a nice meadow. Not really a park, but a trail that would benefit from more use to help establish itself. Folks need to remember that not every piece of public land starts off beautiful and maintained. I would guess that this was land donated to the city for a park and I'm grateful that it exists.

Overgrown trails with multiple fallen trees partially or completely blocking the path. Barely navigatable.
