J’s Sambusa

My order was a takeout order, so my service atmosphere ratings are not substantiated.
I ordered the goat. My wife had the chicken suqaar, and we shared chicken sambusa.
The sambusas were a little dry, probably since it was made with shredded chicken, so the sauces were welcome. The goat was delicious, and the chicken was heavily seasoned and slightly dry due to it being chicken breast. Once again, the sauces helped. The basmati rice was light and delicious. The side salad was just that, a simple side salad. The quantity was large and sufficient to make a small lunch with leftovers. Overall, I would recommend eating at the restaurant to eat the sambusas fresh from the fryer. We both enjoyed the food, and we will be returning.

Good was fantastic, will be eating from there again. The person who brought our food out was very friendly. But there was no follow through and we had to search for someone to pay. The restaurant itself looked nice at first, but since we ate there the cob webs became very visible.

Absolutely delicious food!! We ordered sambusa, chicken suqaar, and fish. All were incredibly flavorful, beautifully cooked - and the portions were massive (we'll each get at least 1 more meal of our leftovers - maybe 2!). So glad to have such variety in food choices close to home!! Will be back!!

A small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! Definitely a go-to place for chicken Suquaar and sambusa definitely will be going back.

The sambusas are phenomenal and so is the chicken suqaar. The rice may be the most delicious I've had yet!

Went to J's for the first time and order the Suqaar with chicken and rice, as well and a Veggie Sambusa. Everything was DELICIOUS! The service was great. The portion was so large I had left overs for today and warmed it up for lunch. It was just as good. I will definitely go back again.

Service was very fast and friendly. Food was amazing! The green hot sauce that came with the entrees has really good flavor and a nice kick. We will definitely be back!

Great place for lunch! Definitely have to try the Sambusa's - SO DELICIOUS. Super friendly and great food. I loved all the different hot sauces as well.

I stopped there on Tue, 15th. Found they were closed, but a lovely man came out to explain they would be opening again soon. In the meantime, they were giving children free food. He popped back in and came back with 2 large aluminum baking pans, both filled with amazing chicken, vegetables and rice. My two child companions and I couldn't finish even one pan! I am completely impressed with the food and the generosity. I will be back once they reopen!

It was our first visit and what a great experience. The outdoor patio was very comfortable and the food was delicious, healthy and very tasty! We had the “Chicken Fantastic”, I would highly recommend this! Thank you so much.... we’ll be back again!

The food was great i tried another place across town no where near this level. I had the goat. Now i need the goat and bbq chicken next time...Just a touch of salt and this place is a winner

We stopped for lunch. It was very good. We had beef sambusa along with the goat and beef entrees. We will stop gain if we’re in the area.

I went to J’Sambasa twice and enjoyed it both times.

Food is delicious, portions are generous, staff is friendly. The menu is small, but that means they can focus on doing a few items very well. You NEED to try the sambusas! If you're looking for something besides pizza, burgers, or tacos, you owe it to yourself to stop in and give J's a try!

I ordered the suqaar with beef and rice. It was amazing! Great flavor, a very nice green chili hot sauce on the side, and I'm going to get at least two meals out of it. I'm definitely going to be coming here again

10/10 would recommend. The juiciness of the steak with the spices combination created a mouthwatering effect. The sabayad (Somali flatbread) was very nice and soft in texture and the combination of this with the steak was unbelievable. I will definitely be eating this again!!

The menu is super straightforward and easy to understand. Food is outstanding and very well priced. You're going to get a solid amount of food for a reasonable price. Don't miss this one.

As a Somali I loved the food and it was very tasty definitely will come again I eat this kind of food everyday and my house. Im glad others enjoy our traditional food ((:
