State Line Family Restaurant

So glad I gave this place another chance. I was here last year and the food wasn't great. But today it sure was! Great outdoor space, umbrellas, comfortable chairs, friendly service, and huge menu selection.
As pictured, we had shrimp guacamole wrap which was fantastic! And veggie burger with fried onions and swiss.. super good and hot. Definitely going back for dinner.

Haven't been in sometime. Orangeburg was to crowded to accommodate us. This was exactly what was needed for my party of 10.

Service was excellent, the food was cooked we'll, well seasoned and served quickly. I immediately took notice to the fact the staff was cognizant of the 1 year old in our group and made sure nothing hot was put in his reach.

The menu is labeled with GF and V options and there is GF substitutions of pasta and sandwich buns. Kid size portions are a regular meal. Come hungry and be ready for leftovers.

Our waiter Avelino has taken good care of us. Very attentive. My Romanian Steak was awesome. We'll be back. Oh and the lemon coconut cake was good too...

Huge selection of traditional and upscale diner dishes. Fast, friendly, and efficient service. Burgers, sandwiches, panini... moderately priced and generously portioned. Main entree dishes pricier but within normal range these days.

Wonderful selection of all types of food, nice atmosphere, attentive wait staff. Definitely recommend!

Had the Eggs Benedict..it was de-lish! Their homefries were nice and crispy..coffee great!! My husband had their center cut pork chops..he really enjoyed them!

I've enjoyed everything I've eaten there. Eclectic menu with a variety of choices for any pallette.

The french onion soup was delicious, the BLT very good. Good sized portions, and the price is right. Server very pleasant.

Hands down my favorite diner around. Every single item is spot on and delicious. I really enjoy their breakfast items and their burgers. Prices are fair and very good service. All around this place is great. Better than most diners in the area and you can go any time of the day.

I enjoyed the food nice place to eat..just little be loud because very busy and everybody was talked a the same time ..normal..but was pretty good 👍

We have a breakfast group that visits twice a month. Sometimes there are five of us, sometimes a dozen or more. They welcome us either way and allow us time to eat, chat and drink coffee with no pressure to pay and move on.

Friendly staff, good service, nice patrons, wonderful atmosphere, ample outdoor seating, and delicious food. We had a great time. Felt safe with covid stuff sitting outdoors with plenty of space from other tables. Great portions. Everything is always fresh and tasty. Very reliable. Our almost two year old lives it as well and the resturant is always accommodating to the youngest patrons.

Nice diner! Clean, good service. This diner is very similar to the City Line Diner in New City. Wonder if they are related? Either is a good choice and highly recommend.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This place is the epitome of a family-style restaurant!! This was my first visit to State Line Restaurant in Tappan, NY and honestly, I just stopped by on a whim. From the moment I walked in, the staff truly made me feel at home! From recommendations to small talk, Anna and Mackayla were not only warm & inviting, they were very much on top of everything. The dish that was recommended (the Mexican burger with chips/salsa with a side of waffle fries) was incredible and the service was top notch! Like I said, I stopped by on a whim but after this experience, I KNOW that I will definitely be back! GREAT JOB State Line Restaurant… 5 stars all around!!!

One of my husband's and my favorite places to eat! We try to come by when Natalie is working... She makes the BEST Sangria EVER!!! Always gives us the best suggestions on our order and pays attention to detail...always feel like I'm eating at a high class restaurant even though it is casual...best food ever! Best waitress ever! Delicious food, great service, and cheap prices. Didn't know chicken noodle soup could have so much flavor. It might be the best I've ever had. Great fresh cold cuts for deli sandwiches too. Will definitely return.

Well 1st off there was plenty of parking by the time I arrived. I was nicely greeted and immediately seated by the staff.

Nancy my waitress was quick to take my drink order. As part of my brunch I ordered coffee, and a large freshly squeezed Orange juice.

She was hesitant to let me know their commercial grade juicer wasn't working but I guess she sensed I really wanted it and took the order anyway as she pointed out it was gonna be pretty much squeezed by hand.

After getting my beverages I ordered my food and when it arrived it was not at all disappointing. In fact it was quite delicious and enjoyable.

However I do have to say that the "stars of the show" were both my Orange juice and my waitress for going out of her way for me. Thanks Nancy...you'll see me there again!

I'm usually not a fan of diners because the menu is so big and most of the food is mediocre at best, BUT State Line is the exception. Their food is comforting and delicious, and as someone who never orders the same thing, State Line never disappoints.

Food is good. Place is clean. Service is great.
