Hampton Inn Carlstadt-At The Meadowlands

I reserved a corner room to help limit the amount of noise I heard from the hallway and I was super happy with my stay. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the location was great for where I was traveling. Also, parking is free. I did not eat the breakfast so cannot speak to it but when I walked by, it was always full. The price was a little higher than others in the area but it was worth the price for a quiet room to sleep.

Perfect for a car free staycation from NYC - my 4 year old and I took the NJ transit bus which dropped off right in front of hotel, and hotel shuttle takes you to/from American Dream mall. Room is basically but perfectly clean, and free breakfast gets the job done. Would absolutely come back!

My sister, mom, and I stayed here for 5 days. My sister had a medical procedure done while there. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Melody and Roxanna helped us almost daily with whatever we needed. The coffee station was always clean and well stocked. The coffee was always fresh. The driver took us to the American Dream mall twice and then brought us back. Breakfast was great. The flowers and trees were so beautiful!! Would definitely stay again!

Stayed last week. Room was good. Water pressure in the shower was outstanding. Breakfast was good, considering that there was a few large groups staying there, the staff kept the breakfast area stocked and prepped food was fresh. The shuttle service to the mall was excellent and convenient. Great stay overall.

Very nice hotel, on par with other Hampton Inns, although this one does not have a pool. Great location, just a few minutes from the American Dream mall. The building is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Reception and housekeeping are excellent. We love having large dispensers of toiletries, instead of tiny bottles.

The main downside is long and slow lines for breakfast (on a holiday weekend, full capacity).

I've stayed in a number of hotels in the Secaucus / Meadowlands area and this one was in the most convenient location and my favorite!

We were traveling home from The Adirondacks after the 2024 eclipse and ended up stopping here for the night bc traffic coming off the mountain was insane (as I had expected). I booked the room via Travelocity and check-in was a breeze. The service desk agent was super friendly and was able to accommodate my room location request (low floor, near the elevator).

The room (2 Queen beds) was better than I expected (I've stayed at a number of Hampton Inn locations nationwide, for both business and personal travel). I was impressed with the mini coat closet (with a door lol) in the room entryway; the bed and pillows were nice and firm; the shower had multiple adjustable settings (huge plus when bathing a finicky toddler).

The only very minor inconvenience was trying to locate the ice machine, as it wasn't marked on the evacuation map. A call to the front desk later, I located the ice machine in the laundry room and was amused that it was a really fancy one with a built in water dispenser! (I've never seen one of those before, so I thought it was really cool, especially since I drink a lot of water! 😂 )

The breakfast options were okay, but that's never a reason why I pick a hotel, so having something to snack on before we left was a nice plus. Their breakfast hours ended at 0900, so we did have to wake up a little earlier than we would've liked to, after having been in the car all day before that til late.

Our room had a nice view of the cherry trees in bloom, at the hotel entrance, so my tot really enjoyed that in the morning before we left. The location was perfect, since we were looking to start our day at the American Dream Mall's aquarium before finishing the drive home.

This will 100% be my first hotel to look at booking from now on, when I'm come back (and/or for future NYC trips)!

Great hotel. Excellent breakfast. Good value Nice people. It was very crowded with lots of children especially at breakfast. Elevators were very slow and crowded but I would definitely stay again

The location is perfect when you're going to met life stadium.
, the rooms are always very clean. I had an issue one time where breakfast seemed to be stocked. Very slowly on a very busy day. But they rectified it so they did a good job.

If you're visiting NYC, this is the place to stay! Coach bus runs every 10 (or so) minutes into Manhattan from a stop right at the hotel driveway! So easy! No need to navigate your way into the city. Awesome breakfast included as well...plus very comfortable and clean rooms.

Great location, one of my favourite Hampton Inns. Free hot buffet breakfast included, beautifully renovated room, 163 bus across the street gets you to NYC’s Port Authority in 15 minutes. Facing the Meadowlands. Highly recommended for your next trip to NYC.

I was quite happy with my stay at this hotel during a nearby business conference. The room was comfortable with a fridge, in room coffee/tea maker and all needed amenities. There were ample outlets for todays electronic charging needs. The lobby featured a daily complimentary breakfast as well as 24hr self serve coffee/tea. The location is excellent with the MetLife centre and American Dream nearby. One thing to note is that it is not pedestrian friendly and a vehicle is needed for all excursions even across the road due to safety concerns. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for value and a comfortable stay.

This hotel is absolutely terrific! From the free parking, warm welcome from Luis, and Katherine when assisting with the late check out, the service has been fantastic! Their generosity towards me was warm and friendly, and as someone in hospitality myself, I applaud them for their diligent assistance and efforts. I will be staying here again when i’m in NJ, and I wish more hotels had staff like them. Also, rooms are large, modern and clean. 10/10 experience.

Lawn and Compound of the hotel is nicely decorated with trees and artificial water body.

Friendly, professional customer service. Clean rooms. Nice views. Tasty coffee bar. Peaceful location. We were in town to see Sweeny Todd in the city. Arrived late, but they made it a smooth and comfortable check in process. Answered all our questions and were very kind throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again. Great value.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was beautifully appointed, and the customer service was top-notch, with staff always greeting me with smiling faces. The breakfast was delicious and added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I've stayed here twice so far and will keep coming back. Check in is simple, the rooms are very clean and added bonus is the shuttle to the American Dream Mall and to events at the Meadowlands. If you needto travel to and from Manhattan, the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

I stay at this hotel frequently for work. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The property was completely renovated a couple of years ago and is well kept. Fresh doughnuts and pastries are brought in every morning for breakfast from an actual bakery (not the typical pre-packaged ones)!

The location is great for easy access to major routes in the area. Whether working in North Jersey or heading into the city, everything is relatively close and convenient. There is decent on-site parking and a bus into the city right out front.

This will continue to be my go-to hotel when working in the area.

Everything was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The location for NYC Port Authority, 20 minute ride (NJ transit has a stop across street) can't be beat! Breakfast buffet has the best bagels and danish. The staff was very accommodating, room was very clean and quiet. Highly recommend.

The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious. The bathroom was spacious also. The beds were very comfortable. There was complimentary coffee day and night in the lobby area. Breakfast was included and was tasty. The staff were very kind and helpful. The proximity to the American Dream Mall and the Metlife Stadium could not be beat, and the hotel's free shuttle to the American Dream Mall was much appreciated! Housekeeping service is upon request.

This is the perfect hotel to stay in if you are in the area. Very clean rooms and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was great as there was a variety of options. This is the second time staying at the hotel and we will be back again when we come see another football game.
