Tsuki Japanese Restaurant

Had a nice time at this sushi spot. The staff was friendly, the booths cozy, and the food delicious. Loved the spicy salmon with asparagus roll – it had a great crunch. Plus, no judgment on pre-dinner cannabis use, which was obvious from our voracious appetite, made for a relaxed vibe. Definitely recommending this place

The freshness and flavor of the chef's special sushi rolls here blew me away! I dare say it's the best sushi I've had outside of Japan. In most restaurants the special rolls have so much piled onto them willy nilly that you can't taste anything, or even worse, the flavors clash. Not so at Tsuki. The flavors of the fish, caviar, vegetables, and sauces all pop on your tongue and complement one another to create a perfect taste experience. Owner/chef Ginn Huang and sushi chef Oscar made me feel welcome and were helpful in offering suggestions. My favorites were the Black Dragon and Snow White rolls. I also enjoyed the special sea bass roll, though it was a bit smaller and simpler in construction, with a subtler blend of flavors than the other two. Even the miso soup here was better than most I've had in restaurants: nice and hot, with plenty of miso and dashi flavor. In my weeklong stay in Bernardsville, I went to Tsuki three times, each time trying a different roll. Since there are many more rolls to try, I have a reason to go back to the area!

We love this place, the food is excellent, the jockey, and the lobster roll are my favorites, but in general, all are excellent. Service is excellent. Unfortunately, they don't open Sundays, so you need to plan accordingly. Pricing is average. Definitely recommend this place.

The best sushi I've had in the area. Everything is always fresh, as it should be. I've had both sushi and several of their rolls. The prices are reasonable for the quality, which is outstanding. I've only done takeout but the restaurant looks like a nice place to sit down and eat. I would recommend this place! It will not disappoint.

One of my favorite Japanese dishes is chicken teriyaki. I new the second the waitress came out with our food that it would be something special. The food was absolutely amazing!

Ordered a bento lunch special to go, which isn’t a fancy option, but they took their time to make my basic meal in a such amazing experience. Friendly staff, great menu (options and design) and delicious food! The best salad dressing I’ve had, fresh produce, all vegetables and beef cut and beautifully organized in the container. Eating here brought me so much joy! Thanks for our hard work.

Arrived early for online order pick up and they were kind enough to keep updating me on status of orders and got the food to me 10min earlier than expected, excellent service and one of the best Japanese restaurants in Jersey, go here all the time.

Cozy place. The trademark glass sliding entry door is always creates a chuckle. Fantastic sushi. Nice clientele. Casual, cozy, no frills decor, but doesn't need it. Warm towels for pre-cleaning your hands. Have been very satisfied by the sushi experience every time. Feels genuine.

Best sushi I've had so far. The fish tastes really fresh. The salmon and tuna just slides down your throat. Lots of waiters around constantly attending to client needs. Good job Tsuki.

I have been coming to Tsuki for 7 years now and got to say they still serve the premium sushi at a premium price. Over the years my colleagues and my guests have always vouched about the great food and consistent quality. Beef nasu appetizer are always great and their Seaweed salad with tuna tartar is a hidden secret. Enjoy

Love the fresh, flavorful food including a lot of vegetarian options. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by the high-backed booths. The owners and staff are very warm and friendly. Good downtown location. A few doors from the Bernardsville movie theater.

Bernardsville is unbelievably lucky to have this place. Until the current owner bought out the previous owners (Circa 2010), it was mediocre to lame. Now it is the best Sushi in NJ/NY. I have been to Nobu NY and their other franchises and to more than 50 other places. Everyone I bring here agrees. Skill and quality are grade A prime.

I go this sushi place often and I've always enjoyed the sushi. A couple of my favorites are the shrimp/udon noodles, the toolbox roll and the emerald roll. Also, the weekly fish specials up on the board are the way to go for sashimi. The service also good; the owner is very accommodating and is always coming up with new specials.

Great local spot for the best daily catch! The special board changes all the time, so check in regularly. They had fresh King (Red) Salmon from Alaska the other day, an it was amazing.
