District at Metuchen

A great place to shop and eat. This small town has quite a diverse number of restaurants, shops, hair and nail places. It has a Whole Foods and an accessible train station on the Northeast corridor. The train can take you all the way to Trenton and New York City.

My son went to this place to hangout with his friends on weekend.it was fun time for him.

It is a neat little area of New Jersey. Beautiful houses along the streets. Very clean.

A small downtown. There are some well known stores in downtown, including the Whole Foods Market.

Beautiful and great atmosphere. Lots of restaurants, shops, and things to do. Usually every weekend there is an event going on.

Great place to live, nice downtown with lot of food options. Main Street is beautiful. Train station is right there. Green way walk path is also a great place for a leisure walk. Everything is in a walkable distance..

Great place for almost anything anyone wants to do or buy. The grocery store "Whole Foods" is perhaps the feature store of the entire shopping center. Not only can one buy higher quality groceries, but one can also return their Amazon orders inside the store. What is also nice about the area is that there are other restaurants and service stores outside of the shopping center that is only a short walk away.

Yes it's a very small town, but it is full of eateries, subs, diners, pizzerias and breakfast and ice cream places.Some of New Jerseys best places to eat it. Main Street is the place, if you can't make up your mind on what to do or eat, just walk around and you will know what you want. The open air yoga, bristo, rock bands playing in summer evening best Ice cream shops...do we need more. Safest city... 🙏

Metuchen is a beautiful town and a great place to visit. Access to the Middlesex Greenway right next to Whole Foods makes it an ideal launch point to start a day of cardio

Metuchen is just plain kickin' it! Lived there for 23 years, but moved not far away. Going back is bittersweet, but the past is the past...the present is now. Great place to live or visit. Check out the farm market on Saturdays, June-November.

This Main Street has entered the competition for the title of "Best Main Street of America" and you will immediately realize why. The street fairs, celebrations and best ethnic restaurants makes you feel like you are on location of tiny town dramas like Gilmore Girls or Hart of Dixie!!!

This is a fun place to come in the evenings in summer. We can walk around and enjoy multiple types of foods from whole foods buffet to chipotle, mikes subs, playa bowls and finish off with Luigi's Rolled ice-cream! Just a fun evening with family!

I am hooked on this place. They are a little pricey on some items but they definitely carry quality merchandise. I go at least once a week as a treat to myself to go to their food bars. It is fun to be able to make your own peanut butter.

Well maintained shopping center.

I have been around this area for over 15 years. I lived in Highland park before. When I moved near Metuchen the town was quite compared the vibrancy of Highland Park. But recently Metuchen Has Transformed itself and in my opinion has surpassed Highland Park as a town to be. Even Covid-19 has not stopped Metuchen moving Forward. The idea of building housing in the center of town was brilliant. It attracted young professionals that can take the train to New York for a 40 min ride. The Whole Foods market added the town feeling. The Greek and many other new restaurants are making it a cosmopolitan town. I can't wait to see what the new art center will bring to the town. I have lots of respect for the leadership of the town including many organizations that worked hard to create a new town that still kept its sleepy character but at the same time added the vibrancy that young people demand to move to the town. Bravo Metuchen leadership!
