Completely Heeled Shoe Repair

Sam over at Completely Heeled is the BEST! I brought him a completely unique project and he took on the task with no questions asked. I needed two chips put into my dogs industrial strength collars, and he made it happen no problem. Not only are they strong and durable, but they’re not an eye sore, he was fairly priced and he got it done a week ahead of schedule. Can’t say enough good things about Sam, he is clearly a hard worker and dedicated to his craft. Thanks Sam! I appreciate it.

Why replace good shoes when you can just get them fixed?
I have used their services a couple of times and love their work. I still wish they sewed the soles instead of gluing but they still come out great.

I made the mistake of walking in some snow and mud-covered rocks during a business trip. This resulted in the leather being stained and the soles being badly damaged.

Completely Heeled replaced the soles and heels while also repairing some of the staining. The results of his work are shown here.

Sam is unbelievable! Not only is he kind and most helpful, but he truly knows his business. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a better shoe repair… not here or in California where I am originally from. I drove 45 minutes to see him, and it was worth every single minute. He fixed my boots beautifully. I needed a zipper and before he put it on he had me come to try them on to make sure he was leaving me the right amount of room. He’s a perfectionist. You’ll do well by using him!!!!!

Had my 3+ year old Thorogood work boot soles replaced and I am very pleased with the workmanship. Boots came back with new soles, laces and buffed. Was only expecting the replacement soles. Coworker said he liked my new boots and had to tell him there my old ones. Coworker asked where I went and he'll bo going there as well.

I went in today to get some stitching done on my Keen sandals. When I arrived, the shop was closed, but Sam was standing out and explained that he was in the process of moving the business around the corner to another location. When I mentioned that I had come from some distance away, he beckoned me in and did the repair while I waited. I was SO happy that I didn't have to come back on another day. Sam treated me right!

It’s Friday afternoon and I’m leaving for my son’s wedding in two days. I realized my shoes look as old as they are, purchased decades ago, and they needed help very quickly. I found Sam by googling shoe repair. He told me that he closed at 4:00 but if I could get there by 3:00 he’d help me out. And that’s exactly what he did. They look like new! Repairs not needed but he did a wonderful job sprucing them up on extremely short notice for someone he’d never met. I’m completely grateful and will bring any business I might have in the future to him.

Remarkably talented cobbler! I have been going here for over 10 years and my shoes look like new! Sometimes you have a favorite pairs of shoes from years ago, well this guy can transform them back to their original glory. Great customer service! I know I will be going back time and time again!

I had a leather Cheerleading Bracelet I bought when my Daughter Competed at Worlds Cheer Comp in Orlando (Disney) in her Sophomore year in High. She is now In College and Competing Again Both on Louisville Kent. College Cheer and Worlds Again. The snap was broke and it fell off more times than I Could remember. I went to Sam to see if part of my boot could be modified to relieve my heel of pain. I am pleased to say that it has worked and it was done very professionally and you cannot even tell that the boot has been modified which is great. The service was reasonably priced, timely, and all around excellent. Sam deserves five stars and I would recommend him to anyone due to his expertise.

It’s been about a month now since I’ve had Completely Heeled replace the soles of my Thorogood boots. Money well spent. They feel better than new and look great too. Saved me at least $100 on new boots. With zero break in time.

I've had a few pair of leather boots stretched out and zippers moved due to large calves and I am always impressed with the quality work and turn around time. So nice to still have this type of business in town. Highly recommend!

I have a leg length discrepancy—my right leg is a bit shorter than my left. I needed a cobbler to build up the right heels on some shoes and boots and I took them to Completely Heeled based on online reviews and proximity. There I met Sam, who I now count as a friend. He’s a good person who happens to be an excellent cobbler and leather worker as well.

Since my first visit, I think he’s replaced heels (and added a lift) on about 20 pairs for me. I know, I have a lot of shoes! All sorts from dress shoes to heavy duty hiking boots. Some with leather soles. Some with rubber soles. Some leather heel stacks. Some rubber heels. On some pairs he has added a half sole on the forefoot as well. He’s fixed a zipper on a leather bag. He’s stretched a pair of boots that had a hot spot. He’s made a custom sized leather belt. He’s changed the buckles from gold to silver on a pair of shoes for me and a pair of sandals for my wife. And he’s given me advice on leather care and products.

I'm a picky customer but Sam's workmanship is excellent. Only once have I had something fail and it was my fault. The half soles on a pair I wear frequently in bad weather started to peel off. I’d abused them by getting them wet and leaving them to freeze/thaw for days (weeks?) in my car. Sam re-glued these and added some nails at no cost, and they’ve held up fine since.

He’s busy, and usually quotes me two weeks turnaround time. Once or twice he has had to call and ask for a bit of extra time. That doesn't matter to me. The quality is worth the wait.

Stop buying disposable shoes and fake leather goods. Quality shoes/bags/jackets are more expensive but look better, feel better, and with a little care will last many times as long. Buy quality shoes and when they need repair or reconditioning, go talk to Sam and tell him you read my review!

Great cobbler experience. I took in some old hiking shoes to get a few extra years out of some boots and the stitching replacement and patching was above and beyond expectations. Highly recommended for even the smallest of repairs.
