I took lessons for almost two years, and then bought and boarded my horse here for the past three years. The barn management is stellar! These horses are extremely well cared for and frankly, it’s a family here. We all pitch in and help out and you gotta love the kids. It is so exciting to see them grow and mature and develop an amazing work ethic under the tutelage of the lead instructor and barn management team.

Amazing people, top notch animal care, great facilities! I have been boarding my horse at Mack Hill for 7 months, and could not be happier. After moving across the country for work, I have found a hidden gem at Mack Hill. I never want to go anywhere else, it’s been that good there! Everyone has been so welcoming and kind, it is truly a barn family. They even helped to celebrate my birthday this year! Miles of trails nearby, indoor arena, huge outdoor arena, extra large pastures, top quality hay, heated tack and restroom. If you’re looking for a drama free barn, where staff, barn manager, owner, instructors, and clientele all care about the quality of life for their horses and each other, you should check out Mack Hill!

I mean.. what’s not to love?! When you find your barn people, you find your second family. They offer the kindest love and care to our horses. I have loved watching them interact with them daily. They also have THE BEST barn manager who puts her heart and soul into taking care of this farm… and THE BEST instructor for kids’ (and adults!) riding lessons that provides fun, safe, creative riding experiences for all of her students. Set on a beautiful property, with trails just down the street, Mack Hill truly is a wonderful place with the kindest, most caring people you will ever meet 🤍

I've ridden at Mack Hill for almost 2 years. I started with one lesson a week, then two, then moved into a quarter lease, and am now on a full lease while taking lessons. My husband has even taken lessons there (I only trusted Mack Hill and Stacey with his first foray into riding!) and my mother is also planning to begin in the new year.

Their programs are extensive and offer something for riders of all levels and ages:
- tiny trotters
- children, teens, adults
- English and Western for all ages
- beginner through advanced, including working with more advanced students on very specific goals in their chosen disciplines
- summer camps

The horses are very well cared for and there are great options for all riding levels and skills. 24/7 access to hay and water, appropriate feed schedules, and plenty of treats!

It's so convenient that there is both an indoor and outdoor arena, as well as a roundpen and lots of trail access.

They also have a great community of boarders and lovely employees! It's a great place to build relationships and community, and I've developed friendships with a number of other adults who ride there.

For experienced students there are opportunities to volunteer or become a working student. And so much to learn outside of lessons when it comes to their breeding program and retired horses who need ongoing care.

There are social gatherings throughout the year for students and their families - a winter holiday party, spring fling, a barn show, and more.

There are also lots of opportunities for students of all levels to go to local horse shows throughout the year. And if you're looking to go deep on a discipline or show more extensively, they are happy to help support you in whatever way they can (speaking from experience!).

My daughters have been riding here for years, we absolutely love it here! The growth in their riding has been huge. This is a testament to their trainer. She incorporates a lot of fun and knows how to push them without being too much. The horses all amazing and well cared for. Can’t say enough good things about this barn.

Mack Hill is great place to ride and take lessons. I was first there when they hauled my Moriesian (Morgan- Friesian Cross) weanling filly from the Quarter Horse Congress to Amherst (10/2018). They were so patient with me and put up with my “desensitizing” antics with her. They were so patient with me and helped me a lot when it came to raising a very young horse. In addition, I worked at this barn on Sundays while my “J” was there and afterward, until COVID. I was never cut down denigrated and was always compensated for all chores/trade for board. I moved her briefly to a Friesian barn so I could get in shape to ride her. Life happened. So, last December I asked if Mack Hill could take my very inquisitive, mischievous, personality overload and big emotions girl back and they said yes! So, the Moriesain is back in a Quarter Horse barn and living her best life. There are other boarders and we go trail riding two + times per week. The barn staff, the barn manager and everyone are wonderful. The health and safety of everyone, especially the horses, who work hard, is paramount. Yes, the rules are clear and strict but there is a “family feel” and a lot of fun and laughs as well. You can’t go wrong taking your kiddo or your horse to Mack Hill.

My girls are both very sensitive to the mistreatment of animals and the horses here are loved and cared for. Lessons are comprehensive and very practical. We look forward to coming here every week.

Mack Hill is absolutely incredible! We have been involved in several riding programs over the years and Mack Hill is by far the best. They take wonderful care of their animals and property, they are very hands-on during lessons and offer a wide range of activities during lessons. We are beyond happy with Mack Hill and would recommend it to anyone!

They have a great program they are thoroughly training my 3 year old in all aspects of equestrian sport. They treat their animals well and have a great facility. If you want to start anything with horses head there.

Mack Hill is a wonderful place to take riding lessons! The instructors have years of experience, are very personable & passionate about what they do. They teach children & adults of all ages & different skill levels. I love that they offer both English & Western disciplines. There is no better place in Southern New Hampshire!

After about three months learning there, I can say I do highly recommend Mack Hill. Their instructions are all top notch. The facilities are wonderful. The school horses are well taken care of and have excellent demeanors.
