Sweet Beet Market and Café

Love this place. This is the kind of shop you can trust when it comes to local ethically sourced meat and produce. The Cafe is also a great option on weekends and the local clientele that you get to meet when you are there are fantastic people. Can't recommend enough!

Sweet Beet is heaven. We are so lucky to have it in the community. France and Lauren lead with deep care and dedication. The Market offerings are always fresh and the Cafe serves awesome fare. Sitting on the porch is my happy place. I ❤Sweet Beet.

We love Sweet Beet! They're more than just a farm, market, and cafe, they're a non-profit committed to supporting the local food network and community. The market is stocked with all the essentials: produce, eggs, dairy, meat, sauces, salsas, grab and go meals, BEER, drinks, and more. Don't skip the cafe, the coffee and breakfast menu are great!

Last Friday I needed to grab a quick "Take Away"*lunch because I had to make an afternoon Kearsarge Girl's Field Hockey Bus run to Monadnock High School. I chose one of the pre-made chicken salad wraps and a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie. Delish...and exactly what I needed for my trip. Thank you Sweet Beet Culinary Team. I can always count on you for healthy, tasty homemade/baked foods. Cheers.

Wonderful selection in the market. The coffee and scones were delicious, we loved sitting on the porch!

Inspired delicious foods! Every menu offering is lovingly considered based on the availability farm fresh ingredients. And you can’t leave with out trying a teff brownie!!

Very friendly, helpful staff and fresh veggies. The cafe has good coffee and sandwiches and a variety of pastries to enjoy. A wide selection of meat, cheese and frozen meals are available as well. Make sure to check their social media at they close for a couple of weeks in January.

Wonderful food with an excellent selection of vegan/vegetarian options. The market has a great selection of locally grown or sourced grocery items, gift items (like lotions and soaps from local makers), and art. Community space is comfortable and welcoming, and staff is always kind and helpful

You just have to go. Such fresh veggies and homemade food. Local goodies as well and they support so many organizations

Great little market with local meats, fresh goods and some prepared food options.

Had a coupon for free drink and muffin. So, I drove out of my way to give it a try. Pleasing and clean inside. Was not crowded so got waited in right away. Had a very good mocha and a cranberry muffin, equally good. Little shop next to the cafe. Interesting mix of veggies and gifts.

Good people who are doing good things for the community. And they treat Veterans well. Coffee is very good and the prepared food is great. Nice place to meet up with friends.

Sweet Beets has been our favorite place to shop for food since we started vacationing in the area seven years ago. Since they moved from a modestly sized farm stand to an inviting, spacious store they have been offering a significantly expanded range of products, from dairy, eggs, bison meat, chicken, and some fish to ice cream, frozen pizza, black bean burger (delicious!) to spices, coffee and tea and breads, etc. They also opened a cafe (initially days/hours are limited) and on the day we had to leave they offered amazing fresh pastries--fresh from the oven! Can't wait to go back there next year. The people running the place are exceptionally nice. What a delight!

This beautiful food hub has a produce market as well as other foods to make it one-stop shopping for your meals. In addition they have a breakfast/lunch cafe, amazing local coffee and espresso drinks and pastries made from primarily local ingredients. All run by amazing group of people

Absolute Gem! We stumbled on the Sweet Beat by accident & what a pleasant surprise! Great coffee & fantastic sandwiches. Great vibe & friendly staff & I love all the fresh goods! I will be back soon!

Love the youthful, energetic, very upbeat vibe here. Very community-minded. Shop local. Some greens are sold in recyclable clam shells. Not your usual grocery store plastic type which I HATE to buy! Delicious coffees and teas, sweet treats, sandwiches and grocery supplies all locally-sourced. Their café is now open. Go check it out! You won't be sorry!

If you are local or driving by, it is a must stop. We found bison and lamb as well as beef and pork. All local. Great gift ideas and hand made quality ideas. I can't wait to go back and get the in season produce like the giant asparagus spears for tonight's supper with my lamb sausage. Imagine that fresh off the charcoal grill with cherry wood. You deserve Sweet Beet's. Stop in and see what you are missing.

Fresh and amazing variety of produce, local goods such as honey, maple syrup, breads, meat, dairy, coffee and more. A little on the pricier side but completely worth it as it is all locally farmed and sourced. Think global; act local. Support local business and keep the 'mom and pops shops' alive and well. Definitely a must to stop by of you're in the area!
