Element New York Wood-Ridge

Great hotel. Stayed here for a couple of nights recently, and I'm impressed. I travel for work and stay at a lot of hotels. Element is on to something with the materials they use to build their hotels and having a filtered water dispenser in every room along with a white noise machine next to the bed. I wish that more hotels did these things! Really hope I get to stay here again. All of the lush green vegetation behind the hotel is a beautiful plus. The only con is that it is probably a 30-40 minute walk to get to the downtown area, and part of that is along the highway.

My go to hotel. For work or pleasure this is the place to go to. Friendly staff and did I forget to say free beers (3) everyday so yes need look more. Love the rooms and the staff. Yes the water pressure is not high but the water is hot. Very hot! not a deal breaker to me.

Room was new and clean. The small kitchen was perfect for a traveling family. The amenities were great (pool, fitness center, and breakfast). All of the staff were pleasant and eager to help. Element knocked it out of the park with this property.

Very nice rooms, staff and very close to the airport. We prefer staying when rates are within company limits.

Didn’t happen to me but my coworker said the room under the restaurant was loud until later in the evening.

Outstanding hotel near Teterboro airport. Everything was pristine and well manicured. Breakfast was great, rooms were awesome, and good white noise on account of all the traffic going into TEB and LGA, etc. Easiest 5 stars ever.

Really nice hotel. Quick to get to the city. Price was reasonable. Free parking which is huge. Breakfast is amazing. Jura coffee maker is the nicest I have ever seen at a hotel in all of my travels. Highly recommend.

I was blown away by this hotel. The front staff, the housekeepers, the breakfast crew were all amazing.
We came to support our son's Columbia University football game. After the game, we came b ack to the hot and had pizza with our family in the lobby. The staff was accommodating and helpful. Totally awesome and this our place of preference anytime we come to New York.

We were able to get a great rate for a one night stay. The hotel is conventiently located near the new American Dream mall and an easy to drive to waterfront (city skyline) Weehawken. The hotel was very clean, had wonderful amenities, and a room containing a kitchenette. I can't say enough about the complimentary (totally free) breakfast. Chef-made crepes and egg bites, baskets of fresh bagels and pasties and a high end cappuccino/espresso machine! The breakfast alone is a worth a stay. They even had gluten free/Dairy free options!! 10/10 stay!!

I’ve seen prior complaints about parking but you have the option to park in attached lots (owned by the hotel). No issues whatsoever. I’ve also seen complaints about noise due to their upper level club. We were on floor 4 and had the most peaceful sleep.

We had a fantastic time at the Element for our unes 80th birthday. We flew in from Miami and eventhough our group was a little bit rowdy Fatima went out of her way to accommodate us and my uncle had the most memorable time. Very grateful for her and the staff that helped make it happen.

We had a great stay in the Element NY Hotel in NJ! The check-in rep was very helpful, even assisting us with an error in our booking. The room was spacious, airy and up to date. The beds were comfortable, the gym and pool were clean and a pleasure to use. We got prompt service with a smile every time we asked for anything, and were even able to get late checkout. This gem of a place, just a ten min. drive from American Dream Mall, is my recommendation for anyone looking for overnight lodgings while visiting. It would be great if we could get bottled water, since we didn't love the taste of the sink water, but it's still great that there's filtered water in every room. Impressive! Keep it up! Thank you to all the staff who helped make our stay so seamless and comfortable!!

Beautiful new rooms. Full kitchenette in most. My king size regular room had microwave and fridge coffee maker and a kitchen sink.

Bed very nice. Bathroom beautiful. .
We stayed for my cousins wedding and everyone was very accommodating.

My only issue was the air conditioner was directly blowing on our bed which made it very very hard to sleep . We had to keep turning it off .
Other then that great!

Very nice and spacious and new hotel. We got spoiled staying there and we don’t like any other hotel now. The chef is excellent and makes delicious breakfast.

My stay here was superb!
This is a gorgeous hotel and amazing hospitality.
When we arrived, it was late, so we had a slight hiccup with the room assignment. The hubs and I reserved a king bed type but was given a 2 bed room. Now, as a Platinum member, I was highly disappointed with the assignment because those beds were advertised as "queen," but they were more like small, full sized beds.

The front desk clerk, Michelle, noticed my disappointment and did her best to accommodate us. She went above and beyond to find a way to accommodate us. She found a king suite available but warned us that it did not have a blackout curtain, so the sun would shine bright in the morning. We didn't mind, as long as we were able to sleep together comfortably in the same bed. We took the suite, and everything was uphill from there.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean. We stayed Tuesday through Friday, so the hotel was extremely quiet, and we had plenty of parking.

Monday through Thursday, they offered a manager's reception with wine, beer, and cheese. There is a 3 drink limit, though.

They also have complementary continental breakfast with bread, muffins, cereal, and bagels. And a chef that makes daily specials such as avocado toast, sweet potato w/ egg & chicken hash, etc. Bring cash to tip the chef.

They have a rooftop lounge, but we didn't have a chance to check it out.

This was my first stay at an Element and I was pleasantly surprised. My expectations of motels in the area were not high and I chose Element mostly because it is one of the newest. The staff was extremely nice. The room was clean and spacious with a useful kitchen area and large bathroom. The included breakfast selection is mostly standard with one improvement - a chef making fresh selections like pancakes with blueberries and aloe mascarpone. The hotel location is convenient despite being on a split highway. I would recommend the Element New York Wood-Ridge for future Bergen County stays.

I stayed here for 31 days while doing training. It was an overall great experience. The rooms are nicely laid out with a kitchen/full fridge. Every morning I had breakfast downstairs which was a daily special that the chef made every day and it was phenomenal. Easy to eat healthy on the road. They also have a Jura espresso maker which was essential. The workout room had everything I needed including 2 peloton bikes. But most of all, all the staff were so nice and it was pleasant meeting them all throughout the month. I will definitely be staying there next time I’m in town.

I'm a flight attended. This place is very close to were I fly out of.
I really like this place. Breakfast was the I've ever had. They have filter water in the rooms. They had a great pitcher of water filled with pineapple, cucumber, mint. Which was delicious. Never saw it with pineapple.

The location is amazing. The staff is friendly and professional BIG Bonus. They recognize their regulars and make them feel special. The breakfast is incredible and so is the breakfast crew. There are lots of different room options and they are maintained well. Close to the the Meadowlands and Teterboro airport so lots of flight crews.

I had an issue prior to showing up for my reservation and I worked with David. He was amazing, was able to assist me and made what was a bad day turn out better. I cant speak enough about his professionalism and understanding and ability to help me out.

The rooftop bar here is great. The view of the skyline is captivating. Music is also great on Fridays

This is a wonderful hotel with modern rooms. There's a rooftop bar that gets busy at night so make a reservation if you want to enjoy it.
