Prova Italian American Deli & Grill

I recommend all of their food. Hot or cold. However i have the cutlet and broccolini sangwich. Its really great. Reminds me of my grandparents kitchen. Try it, get what they have cooked, or combine your own. I have had the meatballs with some bread on the side and the sausage and peppers. Grab a box of girl acout cookies too...

Love this place! The people are amazing and really care about every person that they service. That review about the lettuce, made by Amato, is just stupid. I can personally say that if you ask like a human being then they will happily accommodate anyone. Overall, best people in the area.

Some of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. Admittedly, I'm a huge sandwich snob and I never leave a review if I only tried 1 or 2 from someplace, but every sandwich I've gotten from Prova is better than the last!! It's awesome!! Trust that whatever you order is going to satisfy. The staff is friendly, the prices are good and the food is the tops!!!

Reno and his staff are amazing at Prova Italian Eatery! Besides getting lunch from Prova about 3 times a week- They catered our last companywide luncheon. They made us 50 fresh and delicious assorted sandwiches. Everyone loved it. Thank you to everyone at Prova. 😁 They will be handling our next company event!

Wow, what a lunch!! Prova knocked it out of the park. We had a company lunch and Prova provided a fabulous selection of delicious sandwiches, along with all the fixin's. They were a hit and everyone enjoyed every last bite. Thanks to Reno and staff for your hard work in making our lunch such a success.

Friendly staff treats you like part of the fam! Food is amazing! Gotta try the meatloaf on Thursday! All the authentic home style hot food is the best go-to. I just moved down the block and will be coming here weekly!

I had their hot Italian sausage peppers and onions with provolone on a 7" roll.
It was delicious and it was a hard decision because everything looked great.

I work in the area and have the JOY of going to Prova everyday for lunch. The new owner does a great job with the full menu (especially during covid where most spots have limited menus). NOT HERE. They have tons of different hot specials, sandwiches and salads. They even have RIPE fresh fruit and delish coffee. An entire selection of chips, muffins, cookies, and fresh bananas. It's a one stop shop! There's a lot of yummy indulgent options and there's also plenty of healthier options too. They will make you any kind of salad OR you can have any type of sandwich on wheat bread that's so tasty! Please get out there and support these locals. They are extremely friendly, accommodating, very reasonably priced and delicious! You can't beat it. They even have two different kinds of yummy turkey! I won't go anywhere else. :) Thank you Prova!

Best sandwiches in north Jersey, the employees are very friendly and treat their customers like family, I highly recommend this establishment for dine in or take out.

I have been working in Moonachie recently and asked the employees where is the best place to order from? Hands down everyone said Prova and YES they were totally right. This is an old school Italian family run business. Nicest people ever and during this time you want to support local as much as possible. Everyday I look forward to hearing the fax machine buzz, YAY the specials are coming through. I have been given so many recommendations from people at the office that I have been ordering daily to try them all. I even ordered my dinner one day along with my lunch to bring home. I have been super busy with a project and It has been such a pleasure to know I am going to get a fresh, high quality and tasty meal with no fuss. Nothing has disappointed me. A few highlights so far are Cubano Panini, cheeseburger and fries WOW delicious!, Italian hot dog, several delicious salads with their grilled chicken on top! The chicken has always been juicy but with great grill marks and char broil flavor They have also been very accommodating as I prefer romaine salad over artisanal greens and they switched it out for me when I asked while ordering a special salad on the menu. Caprese panini that I opted for the addition of grilled eggplant added, their pesto on this one is amazing. Eggplant parm dish with a side of their veges of the day which were so good. I wanted an all vegetable option that day. I have dealt with different people who work there and all of them are welcoming and happy to see you. I wish I lived closer so that when my project is finished I could still enjoy their food. I know the office will still continue to order since they all like it so much. I haven't had breakfast yet but a gentleman at the office, Al swears it is the best. I have seen some dishes and they are very generous. Same with the lunches, whether hot or cold I have been very satisfied with the portions. Terrific place, fresh solid food choices, and extremely nice people to say hello to. Give it a try, if you go once you will be back. As a side note, I am Italian and I love to cook. I mention this because I usually would bring food to the office. My "project" made that impossible but Prova has been taking real good care of me! Thank you, best of luck to all of you and I'll see you tomorrow!

The new owner is sweet and the new staff is amazing the girl at the grill is so sweet and you can tell she knows what she is doing ….me and my husband went yesterday and its amazing how far its gotten from the last time we went you can feel the love and warmth definetly recommend to anybody around the area

There's nothing that's just ok in this place. Everything they make is great, tasty and fresh. There's something new for you to try everyday. The bread is fresh and tasty.
