Small tips for first timers.... Park in garage C !! Parking is $5 , we paid upon leaving. (Just keep your ticket somewhere safe)
The water park is on the second floor. We arrived 30 min before the doors open and there was already a long line. The line does move very quick so that wasn't an issue.
I'd advise wearing your swimsuit under your clothes so instead of changing once inside, you can go find a chair!!
Says no food allowed but no one checked our bags. We brought lunch and snacks and water because my kids have food allergies. No one bothered us about it.
I'd Definitely buy a tube for $10 for the wave pool, that was beyond fun!! We spent 6 hrs in the pool!! Hopped around to all three hot tubs throughout the day and did the lazy river.
There was no need for the fast pass. Some rides were closed but that had no effect on our day.
We went into the mall for dinner around 5pm. They stamp your hand so you can come back in.
We had the best day!!!
We came on a Friday 12-7pm

The lines were NOT bad at all on a Thursday during school break. It was relatively clean for an indoor Waterpark! Prices at burger shack were definitely high (normal for a park) but limitless reentry means you van always go out to one of the many food court shops for lunch then go back in. I suggest getting a wrist band instead of all digital.. if you go straight digital then you'll need to keep your phone on you the whole time to be able to unlock the lockers you rent ($20 fit 4 pairs of shoes and a small backpack) you have to scan a qr code on your phone to open the locker.. or you can use your wrist band.. SO GET A WRIST BAND! I am sure we will be coming back in a year or two, worth the 3 hour drive all day long.. our kids had a blast!

my first time experience to this park! from NY to NJ first I was there at 8:00 am, I looked for the parking lot it was very easy to find the parking lot B C I entered the mall to explore if I spent my waiting time at the water park, one has to be waiting in line to enter the 10:30 am to register at 11:00 on a Thursday, because from Monday to Wednesday there will be at 11:30 am.. when I entered you registered me, then I entered through the locker room area.. the water is warm, It's very hot inside, it was perfect to visit this place with my 14 year old daughter, a burger and a soda $24, cocktail, $19 🍹🤗

We've been to several water parks in different states, and this one is definitely one of the best. Well designed, built and maintained, even good acoustics and climate control, not too humid. Amazing rides and water slides, clean restrooms, decent food at the restaurant (casual, fast food, fairly priced). You could also bring bags with your food if needed, which is helpful for people with dietary restrictions.

We were there on Dec 24, Xmas Eve, so the occupancy was low, and lines were short, which contributed a lot to the fun. The main downside was that everyone must buy a ticket (it cost $100 that day), even older people who can't go on rides or slides due to disabilities. My wife stayed in the mall all day and could not share our experience, which was a bummer.

Otherwise- awesome waterpark, enjoy !

Really fun filled place to be in. The rides are really good. They even have the worlds tallest free fall.
Wait times are good in the morning. Later in the day queues become large so turbo pass helped.

I had lost my wallet there. The staff was very responsible and submitted it immediately to the mall Helpdesk. I was really happy with the experience and the staffs responsiveness.

As a local resident, my recent visit to the American Dream water park was an absolute delight. Bringing along my kids and their friends added an extra layer of enjoyment, making it a memorable day for all of us.

The variety of rides at the water park left us spoiled for choice. The towering water slides provided an adrenaline rush, and the lazy river offered a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. The attention to safety was commendable, providing peace of mind as we explored the different attractions.

One highlight was the seamless experience of taking a break. The availability of a diverse food court allowed us to refuel and recharge, making our day even more convenient and enjoyable. The array of food options catered to various tastes, ensuring there was something for everyone.

What stood out was the overall atmosphere of the park – it's a fantastic blend of excitement and relaxation. The well-maintained facilities and friendly staff contributed to a positive experience. As a local resident, I highly recommend fellow locals to explore this gem in our own backyard. Moreover, for those traveling from afar, American Dream water park is an absolute must-visit. It offers an unforgettable day filled with thrills, good food, and lasting memories.

This is not a cheap day out if you come at the weekend. I came with my partner and our 22 month old son. Though I did most of the rides (bottled out on the 142 ft vertical drop slide), my partner couldn't as one of us had to look after the toddler. The waits for the more popular rides can take almost an hour. This meant that her ticket was largely wasted. Come on the week when it's much quieter and cheaper if you can. Overall for a Brit partially living in NYC it is a fun day out but the cost makes it slightly prohibitive even for a lawyer!

Firstly, this place brought out the inner child in me, I was ecstatic. I've visited 1 time before an also had a blast. I think I went on every single slide in that park. The lockers/ changing room kept in a clean condition. Signage in an around the pool is good. Life guards on active duty, I must say I felt safe. Overall I give it 9.9 /10. There were only 2 problem when I visited 1) there were missing attendants at 2 post so we had to use other slides along with no signage indicatingthat the slide was closed. So imagine walking a mile an a half 😆 and when u get there its closed off. 2) The park closed early, I didn't like that, I want to stay down to the last minute.
As u can see my complaints are minimal in comparison to the fun I had at this moment my calves are killing me from walking up those steps geez. I would definitely recommend this spot. I thinking about having a bus ride over there soon with 60 plus ppl. I couldn't dare keep this for myself

This water park is so fun for the family. All you have to do is make a designated area for your family and just let the kids go and enjoy they time with each other while me and my lady just sat by the pool and enjoyed the pool the kids knew where the meet up spot was so they never got lost. When I got on the slides, the wait was no longer than 5 to 10 minutes.

Everything was great. We Came early, and there were plenty of seating options. Seats weren't the most comfortable but if you want a cabana, I think 700 is the starting price. Bring your own food. The food court food is better than what they have in the water park. The food in the water park is so so not really worth the price. The pool with the intermittent waves was my favorite. Everything else was pretty cool for the little kids and big kids. The lazy river was a hit. The bathrooms are fair. Be careful it is very slippery especially barefoot. I seen so many people slip and fall walking barefoot in the bathroom. They put a lot of nonslip carpet but not enough to make it more safe. The parking was good because we came early. The line to register for the swim park took about 20-25 minutes. Come extra early to decrease your wait time. DreamWorks water park is a winner. I recommend it highly. For atleast a hundred dollars a person it's pretty expensive but worth it for the experience. I will come back again.

Hubby and I are New Jerseyians and it was our first time at Dreamworks Water Park. We had such a great time, we went on Labor Day and thought it would be crazy packed but to our surprise it was not, we enjoyed it very much. We got there at about 11ish, and the first thing we did were the rides. There were no wait times for most of them. Definitely recommend getting there at park opening and do the rides first thing because in the afternoon was when the park really picked up and there were wait times. The lazy river was fun, and all the tube rides were excellent. I loved the ambiance and had no problem leaving our stuff at our lounge chairs. We did use the lockers, I recommend for families to go thru to the other side of the change rooms and rent those lockers together. My husband and I didn’t know there were more lockers at the end and we both got separate ones in the change room. We would’ve saved money getting one together. So go to the end, at the exit of the change rooms right before going into the water park there are more lockers. We will be back!

Great water park. My favorite was the wave pool! Went on Labor Day not many people. We didn’t have to wait long on line except for one ride the dream runner which goes around the whole water park. But it was 30 min pretty quick. The other rides where quick to get there. Just be aware that most of the rides you need to take the stairs and it’s a lot of stairs. They do have food options and hot tubs so relax. Overall great park.

Everything about this place is so well-designed, from the rides to the locker room. The whole family had an amazing time! One tip: we must have been there on a day the wave pool was heavily chlorinated, half the young kids in our group came out with red, stinging eyes. (My daughter went on another day and did not have this experience.) I would suggest bringing goggles for the wave pool or having saline eye drops with you for afterward, just in case...

WHAT FUN !!! We will absolutely be back here. The rides were amazing, fast paced and varied. There were tube rides, single slides, and so much more. The lazy River was fun, the wave pool was excellent. We had so much fun splashing around all day. They offer a twilight pass at 3 pm for a cheaper rate. I’d highly recommend coming to check out this park if you have kids or just want to splash around in a pool

Fantastic water park with a lot of the latest and greatest in ride technology! We went on a weekday and waited no more than 10 minutes per ride (most were walk-ons). I’d imagine this place can get pretty swamped (Shrek pun intended) on weekends, so opt for “off peak” ticket days if you can! It’s incredible how many slides they were able to fit in. Clean with nice amenities. Be prepared for lots of steps.

We loved our time at DreamWorks! We went on a weekday, tickets were priced at $40 each (September online offer) and a locker cost an additional $20. Even for a weekday, the park was pretty crowded owing to its popularity! Our favourite slide had to be the tallest indoor slides (140 feet), they were super scary especially the climb and the trap door part, but it was totally worth it! The zig zag slides are amazing and so is the dream runner coaster (long queues but totally worth the wait.. it's a ride full of surprises). We never saw the waves running in the wave pool, but people seemed to be enjoying it nevertheless. The hot whirlpools were awesome.
I wish the park was open for a bit longer during weekdays. The changing rooms get very crowded at the end of the day, best to go to the ones on the basement floor and a bit earlier than closing time if you want to avoid the crowds.

Loved this place! The wave pool is huge and such fun! There are lots of slides, attractions and even spots for little ones . All the employees that we encountered were friendly & King Julian played peekaboo with my toddler, so thank you to whoever that was 😂❤

Loved loved loved it here! Would go back in a heartbeat. My only real issue was the signage for the rides was not very helpful. Many rides needed tubes , and you had to bring them with you to ride . Finding the tubes was an obstacle course itself because they are located near the rides exit where may be somewhere across the park. I consider myself physically active and going up the stairs to ride the rides was a workout! Ride wait time was great , no lines but maybe because we went on a weekday during school hours! The pool was so nice but I believe the waves are only turned on in the weekend ! Can’t wait to visit again.

This place is really cool. There are water slides everywhere! The toboggan one and the trolls racer were my group's favorites. The kids had a blast in the salt water wave pool and truthfully, we could have spent more than one day here. I wish the park had been open longer in the day we visited (they were open 5 hours) but I understand it was a weekday in a non-peak season. Only negative was that the conveyor belt for the MASSIVE 4-person tubes was not operational and we had to carry them up to the top on our own. Luckily, my group isn't much for thrill -seeking water slides so we only had to do it once. 😊 Food was good and fast from the burger shack as well. Overall, we had a great time and would love to go back one day!
