Professional Wood fired Pizza and Italian food. You can tell all ingredients are fresh. The wood fired pizzas are delicious. I tried 2 and wished I could try them all. The chicken Milanese is one of the best I’ve had in NJ. The mushroom truffle soup is amazing. Overall all the food I had was great and I would love to go back and try everything else on the menu. Quaint restaurant , friendly fast service.

The food, service, and ambiance here are really good!

I love the blackened chicken sandwich and the caprese pasta

The waiters are very nice and friendly

The restaurant is well-lit – it isn’t too bright, but it isn’t too dim either

The hot sauce and the bread with marinara sauce are also good here

We stumbled upon Chianti when we got off Rt 287 for a quick dinner. We had a pizza, Ravioli dinner, and a Braised Short Rib dinner. All 3 were awesome! The pizza was thin (love it) and wood fired! Both dinners were great as were the salads included… and the Beef Short Rib was extra awesome! The owner / chef and or manager both came over to the table to ask how everything was. Great experience! If we are ever passing through again we’ll definitely stop. Food came out quick which we appreciated as we wanted to get back on the road. 👍👍👍 KVB

Tomato, garlic, and onion are my favorite toppings on a pizza. Although it is uncommon to find this trifecta in this area, CHIANTI WOOD FIRE ITALIAN CUISINE exceeded my expectations as my friend, and I savored every bit!!! WOW!! That was on a satisfying pie! So unique; I've never tasted such a well-formulated group of ingredients so fresh as the ones at Chiantis! My friend and I will be back, as I am now looking forward to trying everything on their menu!

We were craving wood fired / brick oven pizza. We found Chianti via Google search. We drove 33 minutes to Chianti. We were very pleased. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The wood fired oven, from Italy, is impressive. Love the fact that they advertise the wood type they use in the oven. Yup, cherry and oak woods. Now for the food we ordered. My wife and I always eat our food family style. So we shared the pear salad. See pictures… the amount of balsamic vinegar is just the right amount. It is delicious. Can’t wait to try the other salads. Now for the pies… two sections on the menu. Make sure you order from the wood fired pizza (I bet the regular pizza are good too - but we were craving a wood fired pizza). We ordered two pies - a Grandma Pizza and a Margherita. Mmm mmm both are great. It is great as it is… but craving pepperoni too. So we ask to add pepperoni onto it. 90% of the time, we eat without pepperoni… but wanted it this time. The crusts… brick oven… amazing results. The pictures don’t do it justice. Must visit and try. We will be back. We also noticed that they have outside seatings.

Stopped for a late lunch passing thru the area. The gnocchi was excellent and is house-made. Pizza was also fantastic. Just the right amount of light char to the crust.

My sister ordered three pizzas for takeout during Christmas week as she said their wood fired pizza was outstanding. We ordered a sausage pie, an arugula pie and a regular pizza. All three were delicious! The ingredients were fresh and the sauce was fantastic. I loved all three ! Highly recommend !!!

Wood fired pizzas - very tasty, delicious food! Go for the Wood fired Grandma pizza, Margherita or classic Neapolitan. If parking lot is full, saw others parking in the parking lot next door at the bank. Friendly service, great food!

Excellent pizza. We ordered cheese, medditterian and margarita for my kid bday. All of them were great but I liked medditterian. Definitely worth it. Delivery person was very nice and made on time in snowstorm.

The spicy tuna tartare appetizer was so fresh and tasty, the squid ink pasta with seafood was so pretty and tasted even better than it looked! I only had a chance to take a photo of the steak because I was waiting for my father to come back to the table! The seared steak and shrimp risotto was Michelin star quality. The apple maple cheesecake and chocolate raspberry pistachio torte made me wanna buy a few pieces for home. This place is a hidden gem and my favorite place in the tristate! I came from the city and I’d go back again and again. Prices were affordable and fair, service was perfect! I can’t say enough good things about this place!!!!

FOOD [5/5]: As it says in their name, they make wood fired pizza and it is absolutely fantastic! Get a classic margherita - the basil is always so fresh. One of my other favorites is the mushroom pie with arugula. Hard to go wrong with any pizza over here.

SERVICE [4/5]: Staff is incredibly friendly but since there isn't much of them, service can be a bit slow sometimes.

VIBE [4/5]: It's a casual and quiet spot - at least that's the case for lunch. You can see the oven from your table which is always a nice treat.

If you are a Fan of Fresh, Wood Fire Pizza, then this is the place for you. All Fresh Ingredients that include the best Mozzarella Cheese on the Market with Grande Cheese. Everything here is made fresh and made to order, so you wait time may be longer, but its worth the wait. If you order a Wood Fire Pizza, understand that it is best right out of the oven and they do not travel well. Besides, one you take your first bite, you will not be able to stop eating. With 2 Ovens here, you also have the opportunity to have a traditional New York Style Pizza. Though, I would highly reccomend the Margharita Pizza from the Wood Oven. They use a Buffalo Mozzarella that is unique to this location and the homemade sauce is so good you can sip it. The crust is cooked to perfection. This is a second location, with its other location being in Chatham. So this is a business that know how to produce great pizza. Alllow yourself time to enjoy this great pizza experience. Cant Wait to go Back, this is one of the Best Neopolitan Pizzas in the State.

First time trying Chianti, and got some takeout dinners, very wide selection. We had grilled salmon with kale and a shrimp and spinach over pasta. They were delicious. The restaurant interior was very nice as were the staff. Will definitely go back when in the area. Pizzas look great too.

Born and raised in Brooklyn; this is the first spot in NJ that brought me back home. Try the shrimp parm sub, try any of the pizzas blindly.

The chicken is from a Halal distributor too! So go in on the buffalo chicken!
