My daughters favorite store is hot topic! She loves Hello kitty and the collectibles they have. The staff here were so wonderful and we asked them to keep Hello Kitty pants for us on hold for the day because another mall didn’t have it - They were so generous to keep it aside which made my daughter really happy to have them to wear for her birthday!

This was my favorite shop in the mall when I was a teenager, and now it's my daughter's favorite as well! On our most recent visit the lady working there, Erica, was beyond excellent! She took time to help my daughter pick out an outfit that made her happy and was dedicated to helping us.

Everyone was friendly & knew exactly where what I wanted was located. The store is clean. Nate was a tremendous help.

They keep it really clean and organized, and they have so much cool stuff in stock. There's also never a line :)

I've been coming to this location since I was just a little "goth" kid. It was one of the only places that made me feel proud to be myself. And while the store itself has gone through a lot of changes, one thing has remained the same.... the people who work there! I was there visiting today (as a 36, soon to be 37 year old mom) just to look around for nostalgic things that bring me joy, when Erica (I hope I spelled the queen's name right) approached me and showed me all the wonderful stuff that she knew I would like. We got to chatting and realized we had the same birthday! Then in walked one of the managers, Carmella (another absolute queen) who was so beautiful and friendly, just like miss Erica. I will never forget the kindness these 2 angels showed me today. As you get older, birthdays get harder and you don't feel as excited or special, but these gals went so above and beyond. They are 2 very special souls and I hope that they are valued by this company because you don't meet people like this everyday. It was definitely fate that brought me in today to meet my birthday twin (10 years 2 hours and 5 minutes apart)! I hope all good things come to you ladies in this life, you deserve it! Thanks again for making an old gal feel special, I really needed that, more than you know. Happy birthday Erica!!!!

My daughter lives this store. She bought a Rick and Morty billfold wallet were coming back for the backpack.

Favorite shop of mine when I visit the Rockaway Mall. I collect pins, and the store has a solid selection. On my last two visits I bought several pins. I also like Tshirts. They had a nice selection of those as well. Also, the sales staff is friendly, and helpful. It's a shop I will return to frequently. Got a great pair of Totoro socks on my last visit. Great store. Great staff.

The manager is amazing!!! super helpful and went about and beyond when I had difficulty with an online order....she fixed everything. Carmella we will forever come to your store!

The workers there really do enjoy their job. They're super nicer and helpful. Each review is different depending on what you're looking for specifically. Just know that they really do have wonderful workers

I work right in the mall and I LOVE this specific hot topic because of the employees. One girl (I didn’t catch her name but she has pink hair!!) helps me find specific things I’m looking for every time I go in. I LOVE cows and she shows me whatever new stuff comes in. They are all so sweet!! Will 100% be coming back!

Wonderful customer service! Extremely helpful and very compassionate about their merchandise! Their loungefly Disney backpacks are amazing ! I highly recommend if you are going out for the day or evening . Very comfortable to you will not go wrong with the mini backpack . They also have an amazing assortment of masks . I love hot topic. The staff is always friendly, the stories always clean. And if they don't have what you're looking for they will help you order it. I am never dissatisfied when shopping in ANY Hot Topic. The staff is usually the friendliest people ever. You can not and will not go wrong shopping in a Hot Topic.

Customer service and cleanliness of the store location were 5 stars! Erica is a sweet heart! She was very kind, very welcoming, approachable, and patient! Will visit this location again in the future! Ask for Erica for all your needs!! 10 stars for Erica!!!

Location: 5/5, located on the first floor inside the Rockaway mall, which is right off of I-80. Cleanliness: 5/5, I saw no issues with this location. Products: 5/5, the range of products sold at this location is not only what is to be expected but exceeds what a person(s) who wears that fashion would want to buy. They have various jewelry and clothing, not to mention Funko and other toys and trinkets. Staff: 5/5, always helpful but never pushy, which is what you'd want when shopping. They are attentive to needs and are always willing to help. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to pickup band t-shirts, gothic clothing/jewelry (piercings included), Funkos (limited), or any of the other various things they carry.

Had a really enjoyable time at this Hot Topic location. This location is not full of pretentious a-holes! Staff was very helpful. Went above and beyond to locate the items I was searching for. Super duper friendly, seemed like they actually love their jobs! Thanks guys!! 💟😊

I love the variety of items hot topic has for different shows and movies. They have great sales and awesome staff. Always helpful

I always lived hit topic as a kids but could really never afford it. Now my daughter LOVES LOVES LOVES this look and is dying to dress in all there gear, but being a momma of 5 I still cant afford it😌 ut I do still love the style.

This location is always so friendly compared to the neighboring ones at Garden state Plaza and Willowbrook. Both of which feel like they are still trying to maintain the edgelord '07 vibes where you had to have emo kid cred and look a certain way in order to be spoken to by the staff.

Plus the music isnt always crazy blaring in this store ...so you can actually shop without getting a migraine.
