Lovely! Thats one word that should summarize the experience. The staff were so lovely, i was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality.. the food - amazing. It is a BYOB. Parking can be found in cinema lot. The atmosphere is cozy! Good for a romantic night. They are very attentive. The bruschetta with homemade bread itself was so good, I knew i am in for treat. Try the creme brulee.

My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner at Sette. Prior to reserving them for our big dinner, we went to try the food as normal guests first. The food was incredible and the service was great. Allan, the owner, was walking around that evening greeting each guest. When he made his way to our table, we mentioned that we were considering Sette for our rehearsal dinner. Allan went back to check if the day was available and it was. He got us all the information that night and held the reservation for a few days while we weighed options.

We ultimately went with Sette for the dinner, and it was a perfect evening. Allan got us the menu a few days beforehand and allowed us to make slight modifications prior to the event. They served us a delicious 4 course meal plus dessert. Allan was a huge help in planning such a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was perfect, we had the place to ourselves, the food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly.

We would recommend Sette and Allan to anybody looking for a great meal at a more intimate venue. We also recommend Sette as a venue for special events (up to 18 people, we had 17 for ours and we fit perfectly. More than 18 people would have still been fine, but it would have been a more awkward fit). Allan does a fantastic job of setting the table for a lovely event.

My boyfriend and I have now been to Sette twice in the past 6 months. Both times we have left with rave reviews. Ambiance is intimate. Very few tables and they book up quickly on OpenTable so be sure to make a reservation a few days in advance if you’re trying to dine here. Also note that they are BYOB.

We have tried multiple dishes as we opted for the prix fixe menu both nights we dined here. Here are some of the highlights: Insalata Stagionale, Pennette Alla Norma (probably the standout dish to me), Cosciotto Di Pollo, Maialino Brasato, Crème Brûlée, Panna Cotta.

Everything we have tried has been amazing. I truly don’t think you can go wrong here. They were very accommodating of my allergies to nuts on both nights. The only thing I couldn’t experience was the bruschetta that they bring to the table as the bread has sesame seeds, but I heard that the bruschetta was amazing so I was sad to pass this up. All in all, I felt very safe with my allergies.

10/10 food. Probably the best in the area. This personally ranked higher than Ristorante MV in terms of food, but ambiance isn’t as comparable since MV down the street is more crowded/happening than Sette. Definitely do not pass up if you are looking for really, really good Italian.

One of the best restaurants in NJ. This is the place to go for a wonderful food experience, date night, special occasion. Last night 3 couples went and we all had the 4 course fixed menu. To start we ordered the bruschetta. It’s not your average bruschetta. The bread is crisp, the tomatoes thick, the basil fresh and I’m not sure what the magic ingredients are. It’s a byob so the bruschetta is a wonderful way to start the meal with a glass of wine. My appetizer had wild caught fresh shrimp, the pasta was a tagliatelle a la Ragú made with perfectly cooked hand made pasta. Tender a delicious. Main course I had pork medallions and for dessert the lightest, crispiest, Mille Feuille. Everyone raved about their meals. The service is thoughtful, friendly and professional. The setting is understated elegance. The chef comes by the table which is a nice touch. We are coming back next week with our family.

Quietly one of the top 5 restaurants in NJ. The host and owner Alan Russo is always present and welcoming. His staff and attention to detail is without peer and his food is impeccable. This is fine dining online a warm and welcoming atmosphere and you can’t wait to go and hate leaving but know you will be back. Run don’t walk to this fabulous restaurant in Bernardsville. Bring your best bottle of wine and walk out wanting to go back the next day.

Allan and his staff go out of their way to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience. The warm atmosphere combined with the savory food brings us back for every celebration in our family.

We had such a great experience. We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and it did not disappoint! The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place. Food, staff, atmosphere all great. Owner is a class act - stops by to say hi, see how the meal is going. Expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. No silly, sneaky credit card fees.

Very nice small restaurant! The service is exceptional. The food portions are not too big, just enough. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

Easily one of the best meals we have had in New Jersey in the 8 years since we moved here. We did the prix fixe menu and every dish served was incredible. At the end of the sitting the owner came over to thank us. No, thank you, sir.

The food is simply amazing. The best meal out I have had in a long time. A friend chose this place off of Google and I already made another reservation to bring my husband there this weekend.

Great little BYO with food better than any local Italian restaurant with a liquor license . Only about 8-9 tables..

The next table we’re speaking fluent Italian as was the owner Allan. The food was absolutely delicious. And at the end the owner, Allan, brought a beautiful panna cotta to the table with a candle in it singing happy birthday to our mother who turned 99 years old today.
I wish I lived closer. I would eat there every day. It’s a long ride from Boston but I’ll be back soon enough.

We found this restaurant to be a cozy little gem with extremely hospitable hosts and very flavorful dishes. The ambiance was intimate and the menu wasn’t overwhelming. I would recommend you make reservations. Their last seating is at 9pm. We will definitely return to try their dessert menu. noi torneremo!!

Wow! That’s really all I can say. Phenomenal authentic dishes with some of the best service and attention to detail that I can remember. Such a great experience. Will absolutely become a regular.
