The Robin's Nest

Got here around 1:15 on a Tuesday. Ordered the Roobin (reuben) and it was amazing. Just got a half size and it was very filling. The owner worked the register and was very friendly. Service was fast too.

The sandwiches are amazing! I had the chicken salad and my daughter had the robins grill - both were excellent. The service was also super friendly and they threw in some extras for free. Can’t believe we haven’t been before. We will definitely be back!

WoW so good. Food is really fresh. Home made love taste. With a great atmosphere. Half a sandwich is still a large about of food. The raspberry cookie thing as a dessert was a nice treat.

Music and volume was perfect. Quiet enough to enjoy a good conversation and loud enough to enjoy. While eating.

Highly recommend this place. We will be back. Might just be a new favorite of mine.

Great place for a great sandwich, the madam was a must for my mom, and the Natural was a perfect veggie option. The treats were great, highly recommend. Gets busy during lunch as larger work groups come in. I would recommend ordering in advance if youre on a time crunch

The Robin's Nest hits the spot every single time. I always get the half lunch combo which is a perfect portion. Great local business with plenty of seating and a large menu. Shout out to Robin and Josh for building such a special place in downtown SLC.

Sweet owner, quick service and yummy food! Ordered a Chicken Salad Sandwich and a Gouda Smoker. No surprise gristle in the Chicken Salad, only white meat used and blended well with other ingredients in it. Gouda Smoker had delicious flavor in every bite. Will be back to try other items.

Wow! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I got the Gouda Smoker, added avocado. Seriously tasty. Fresh ingredients, bread was just lightly toasted, flavors all went together well.

I liked the vibe too. Chatted with the owners, who were super friendly and helpful recommending stuff. If you get the lunch deal, the orzo is a good bet for your side. And there's a bunch of different dessert bites to choose from too.

While working I was driving to my next stop and I drove past the Robin's nest and I'm a big fan of sandwiches and I saw the sign that said award-winning sandwiches & such

So I went to my stop, did my task and left and thought of a little bit of time. Let's try the Robin's nest. I was not disappoint.

I go in at a great time I Feel bad because it was right before they closed, I did not know this but because of that there's no way and I was in and out very quick.

The staff was incredibly friendly. I was asking questions. They asked me if it was my first time here I said yes. I've never even heard of this place I just drove past and thought I would try it.

They gave me good recommendations and they were fun and nice

They're pasta Salad was phenomenal, Rice krispie treat with a little bit of caramel was awesome. The sandwich was very good. I got the Robin's club

Next time I go I will get something different. Not because they're Robin's club was bad because it looked like they had so many good options

I will be bringing people back. They did tell me though. The line is generally out the door and very long. They have also been ranked as in the top 40 best sandwich shops in the country according to one of the workers there, with how the quality was and how good it was, the only thing I'm surprised about is that they're not in the top 20.

This place never misses. We live in Louisiana and visit every time we are in town! The sandwiches are to die for.
Almost had a heart attack when I first came back, and they had moved locations… Thank god they’re just around the corner.
Do yourself a favor and get lunch at The Robins Nest.

I ordered the Gouda sandwich, and it was so good! 🤤 The staff was very friendly and accommodating; they even offered a substitute when I asked for an ingredient to be replaced. 🙌🏽 They really know their sandwiches, and I will definitely be coming back.

The best “real” sandwich shop in town! The service is friendly and welcoming and the food speaks for itself.

The Robin's Nest is a little sandwich shop with plenty of choices. I'm not sure exactly how many sandwiches are on the menu, but I would definitely say it's more than 30. This one is the Gobbler and it's delicious. Everything I have tried there is really good, so you can't go wrong. If you get a combo meal, ditch the chips and get the pasta salad. You won't regret it. The restaurant is small and only has a few tables, so if you plan on dining in, I would avoid going between noon and 1:30 p.m.

Highly recommend The Robin’s nest! We had landed in Salt Lake and randomly found this place and we are so happy we did. The food was amazing, the service even better! With 7 people and all different tastes, they were able to recommend many choices that fit the moods/needs of each person and everyone LOVED their meals. They also recommended when it would make sense to get the whole meal vs the half. I also was impressed with how many vegetarian options and kid friendly options they had! While we are not vegetarian, it’s nice to see the choices on the menu, but I will say the veggie sandwich was my favorite! I would drive out of my way to go here again!!

Incredible sandwich. I don't make it to SLC downtown very often. Glad I was able to try this. Highly recommended.

Ordered her the Vegan Yummy Hummy with Gluten free bread. And wow, it’s hard to get it right and this is amazing. I had the not so sloppy joe with the house pasta side instead of chips. Soooooo yummy!

This place is a favorite of everyone I work with! It’s owned by the sweetest Italian mom and son. I have Celiacs and I’m lactose intolerant—and I can eat here! They have gluten-free bread and I’ve never gotten sick from eating here. Super cool! You can expect fun themed sandwiches or twists on the classics. For example, there’s “the gobbler”—which is a Thanksgiving-like theme of roasted turkey, avocado, Robin’s special cranberry sauce, and more. I personally love “the roobin”—a pastrami masterpiece (shown with GF bread in my photo, although it doesn’t do it justice)!There’s something for everyone here. And their sandwiches are huge. I LOVE ROBIN’S NEST.

This place is actually amazing. Flavors are incredible. The service is great and they are so nice! I highly highly Recommend. I’ll never have a better sandwich….. until I come back here. Which will probably be soon. Like tomorrow. I’m coming back tomorrow

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! This place does not only have the best tasting sandwiches in all of Utah but it has the best customer service. I came in with my toddler and they treated him like a little friend. Even though they can get a good line going, they always make sure to be extra friendly and make everyone feel comfortable there. The sandwich flavors are so creative and the orzo is delicious! (That’s coming from a pasta salad hater too!) I will definitely be coming here whenever I want a good sandwich!

Awesome sandwich shop downtown! Generally busy during lunchtime so plan accordingly. So many great sandwich options and mouth watering dessert pastries. The Gouda smoker was soo good and deserves all the intense customer pressure it can get. The Robins grill was also magical.

Great sandwich with fantastic bread to filler ratio. I ordered the Roobin and was very happy with it. Bread was fresh and tasty, sauerkraut was plenty and tangy, thousand island was very well made. But of a wait at lunch, but pleasantly worth our time in line. Give it a go! Use the parking garage just west of the entrance ($3).
