I would like to thank the 2 wonderful RN’S Elizabeth & Kim for being so kind, attentive, compassionate and helpful during our time in the ER with our special needs non verbal daughter! It’s always difficult going to a hospital with her so having people there to help with everything and to do it so gracefully means so much. Thank you for everything and for staying with us making sure our daughter was in good hands and okay! I hope this hospital knows how valuable the both of you are!

Went to ER. Everyone there was great. My visit turned out to be very serious. Being transfered tonight. My nurse Reilly was awesome to say the least. My NPT Amanda same way n actually made the call before tests so they new to look at that. So impressed with this hospital. Others i know say same thing. Can't go by reviews.

I was taken by ambulance into the ER for a snowboarding accident. I was seen immediately. Multiple people coming and going from the room making sure everything was getting taken care of. Dominick the PA was on top of my pain management and keeping me comfortable. He was very personable and professional. Nurses asked frequently if I needed anything and were very professional. Was able to get x-rays within 45 mins or so. Was discharged from the ER within 3 hours. If I have to go back to the ER in the future, I would definitely go back to St. Luke’s Carbon Campus!

The ER was amazing! Definitely the best experience we've ever had in a hospital setting! I had to take my husband in last night and from the second we arrived everyone was extremely nice and caring. We were only there about 4 hours and he had a bunch of tests done including CT scans! The doctor and nurses were the absolute best! They figured out exactly what was going on with my husband after a misdiagnosis by our family doctor and were able to get him feeling so much better after being sick for weeks! Definitely recommend this hospital!

My wife had 3 visits within 4 days. Each visit, the receptionist were kind, the wait was not long, and the patient care was beyond my expectations. We recently moved to the poconos, and this is our nearest hospital. I was skeptical upon reading the previous reviews but I truly cannot say I had the same experience. Each visit we had different doctors, nurses, aides etc. All of them were very caring. Ultimately they believe she has viral gastroenteritis, the previous visits CVS. I'm appreciative of the care my wife recieved here and doing what was needed to figure out what was going on. In previous years, other hospitals in Bethlehem were very quick to dismiss, and do no testing. St.Lukes did everything from blood work to cat scan. Thank you, for taking care of my wife. We both appreciate the hospitals level of care.

I was visiting a friend in Lake Harmony from NYC and had an emergency and she took me to St. Luke’s. Never in my life have I received the level of care and attention like I did at this ER department. Everyone was so nice and I was able to get all the tests done including a CT within a few hours. Thank you so much!

My wife had an emergency on a Sunday evening while on vacation and was brought by ambulance to the ER. I don't know if the EMTs were St. Luke's or not, but they were exceptional. The ER nurses, doctors, technicians, admitting staff - everyone - were very professional, attentive, courteous, responsive, compassionate and caring. My wife has a preexisting condition that was affected by the incident and the doctor was very attentive and assertive to any potential complications. She fully recovered and was discharged within a couple of hours. I work in a healthcare facility and expect a certain level of service and care and St. Luke's met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you, St. Luke's!

I took my boyfriend there for some testing. There was no problem finding a close parking space close to the main entrance. We got there ten minutes before his scheduled time and he was registered and taken right. Most outpatient testing is right when you walk into the main entrance. Rick's lounge is right there for you to come and get a drink or something to eat. There were people cleaning and disinfecting all the while people were coming and going. And we were in and out in no time

I ended up in emergency room 2x in the fall of 2022 and then again this May 2023 for a breast reduction surgery where I stayed over night. I was treated very well with respect. I was kept comfortable by all staff members and the food was absolutely delicious! I am now trying desperately to get a full time job position within the hospital there as we literally live 5 minutes away! Thank you St Lukes Carbon Campus! Keep up the great work!

This St Luke's or the Anderson campus are my go to if I need anything medical.. the nurses are wonderful, food is delicious and the building doesn't look or feel like a hospital..it's warm and inviting, the new facilities St Luke's has created raised the bar so high I can't see an older institutional looking and feeling medical center the same... we need to clone the staff at the Carbon and Anderson campus, sadly St Luke's Monroe looks similar but nowhere near as good

My family member recently spent a lot of time in the emergency department here. The nursing staff was considerate & professional.
(Updated August 2023)
Our family has used this emergency department a couple more times since my original review and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
EVERYONE there is helpful and respectful. The crisis team is top notch, and kept us updated.

Fantastic! Yes it was a Saturday but I got right in and was treated promptly by some carring individuals,,most over from the old place on 12th Street. Wish I could say the same for their follow up after Care.Theres no way in my condition that IIll be able to make all the referrals in my weak conditions
But at the hospital 5 stars. This isn't something you follow up with your family doctor and then have to go on your own to find a specialist. I can't walk without assistance So there's one point they could improve on.

I have no words to describe this excellent hospital, its attention, the quality of all its work team. I don't know how to thank you for how wonderful you have been with my mom, for her emotional support with me. I will never get tired of thanking you St. Lukes Carbon #1

The new hospital is beautiful. Was recently here for emergency services. Spent a whole night and morning in the ER. The team was amazing. My medical emergency triggered my PTSD and the nurse Vince was compassionate and put my mind at ease.

St. Lukes has been my first choice since purchasing the old local health system.

Late last night our son unintentionally caught his 18m sisters fingers in our kitchen door. There was no doubt that it was an ER visit considering the time and severity of the injury. We went to the Carbon campus with it being the closest to where we live. (first time there). The check in process was quick and they were able to get us into a room in a timely fashion. We were assigned to Dr. Halvorsen And we could be more satisfied with him and his suggested plan of action. Him and his entire team that night were absolutely fantastic. Given the situation we felt our daughter got sincere care and never felt unattended to. Thank you to the entire team who helped us!

Shoutout to The RN, grey long hair older male nurse, who helped save my sons life while he had extremely bad Covid!!!!! Also a shoutout to the doctor who treated my son. Thank you and the staff! My son needed to be rushed in the ambulance with tachycardia and a nearly 105 fever while he had Covid. He was promptly treated with IVs of fluids, blood work was drawn, a breathing treatment was given, and testing was done In a timely manner. The staff was respectful, kind, and gentle with my 5 year old in the process of his visit. He was transferred overnight to a childrens hospital for further care, as recommended by his dr at St. Luke’s. He has now thankfully recovered thanks to the care, kindness, and compassion shown during his visit!
