Hadja African Hair Braiding

I love her, she is the only person I allow to touch my hair. I have very fine hair and my edges don't fall out and my hair grows with her. Her shop is quiet and clean. Very nice lady.

She takes her time. You get what you pay for and she does excellent work.most of all though, my hair grows under her care

Prices are a little higher than others in the area. The owner keeps a clean shop and does not let children hang around. It was quiet and there was no line. I will be going back next week.

The lady isnt hadja anymore but she does do a good job. Been there several times and semi satisfied because she always changes the price from what was discussed previously on the phone. I had got box braids twice and yes i liked them but she is over priced. I guess thats the price for this area. But she does braid good and didnt really have a problem with the braids coming out.

I came here about two years ago to get cornrows on my natural hair. I was yelled at for not blowing out my hair and my hair being too coarse. The lady told me that next time if I came with my hair not completely blownout she would not even bother doing my hair. I learned my lesson and found another braid shop that does a better job, great prices and able to work with my hair texture. Go here if you want bad customer service and to be overcharged and experience texturism.

I came for medium sized marley twists. I arrived when they first opened and still ended up waiting an hour before the owner even touched my hair.. There were only two other customers arriving at the same time that I arrived. An hour or so later the owner leaves to buy herself and sister something to eat and left me sitting there for 1/2 hour or so. She passed me off to her sister who ended up doing the other side of my head shorter than the length that I asked for. I mentioned this to her and she to tried to blame it on the amount of hair I bought. I spoke with her the day before and she told me she had some marley hair but didnt have enough to do a whole head...that's why i bought my own hair. If they cared about how it comes out then it shouldn't matter the type of hair I purchased. Long story short..I made them fix it....Don't waste your time coming here and spending your money unless you are getting something more simple.

This lady did nothing but waste my time. I got there at 11 she walks out some strange looking white man comes in he's rude and nasty. Then she doesn't stop my hair until almost 11:45. Then she touches my hair finally and then says all I'm going to have to charge you extra for drying it. I finally had enough for the foolery walked out never go back there again.

She is over priced, I got the braids on Thursday took them out Saturday night. There is no reason for bumps to form when she knows how tight she is braiding. Complete waste of money for over tight braids. There are too many braid spots skip this one.

Spoke with owner on Wednesday in regards to $80 braiding special, confirmed price and booked an appointment for Thursday. Arrive for appointment on Thursday only to be told that braid special was no longer a current offer but could be done for an additional cost.

The original owner sold the business to a total inexperienced and unprofessional hair dresser. I'm surprised she's still in business. If you're looking for a bad braiding job and be overcharged go there.

Horrible expience the little short African is very unprofessional I went in there to get two cornrows she was in a rush she braided my hair very skinny and I took it out , she threatened to call police on me because I was not paying her $5 to take out my braid , she then told me to straighten the hair that I was take out and I told her no she then snatches my phone , I had to chase this lady around the store to get my phone smh....... as I walked out the door she grabs my hoodie .... do not I repeat do not go here !!!!

Horrible person. Had me wait 30 minutes for her then she was nasty for no reason whatsoever ever. Bad for business shop needs to be closed down ASAP!!!
