Copper Bottom Bar and Grill

What a wonderful experience we had this past Sunday. Nice patio over looking the water. Is a sun trap with a breeze. Some tables along the building wall are in the shade. The service was very good. We had the brunch menu. Beef. Ham, omelets, sausage, bacon. Scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, donuts, and apple dessert. Coffee was included. Regular menu started at noon. We saw some great food being served. We are definitely going back with family and friends to enjoy again. We were lucky to enjoy the live entertainment which started around 1pm. Don't know if entertainment is on every Sunday. But I hope so.

We love this restaurant! Good food, good service, friendly waiter we're happy. They have an outside table where we can take our dog.

Service was a lil slow to start, but spot on after that. Got the Silver Lake Burger. Was intrigued by sour cream on a burger, but great choice! Definitely eat here again! Sorry lighting and phone not the best...

Great clean place with awesome atmosphere. Food is great with fresh ingredients. Kyle bartender was great. Mainly sweet hearted locals there who strike up pleasant conversations with anyone. Awesome menu as well. So many choices!!! Cool people eat here!!! Sunset dinner on the lake.

Our go-to spot after disc golf. They have high quality food, the service is welcoming and friendly and the place is clean. Decently cheap beer deals too.

We go occasionally and it's always an enjoyable experience. The food is always tasty and the service has always been great! And we love the setting right on the lake...views from inside are good and the patio area outside is great. Go check it out!

When I entered the building i was greeted and shown to a table right away. Outside had a nice view of the lake and also had a live performer! The menu was robust and the drink selection was pretty good. I have Celiacs so i asked our waiter to check on the food for me for gluten and she gladly helped which was appreciated. All in all would absolutely come back.

Delicious burgers & great service from Collin! We had a great view of the lake. We were greeted immediately & given seating options by the owner. We definitely will be back!

We love the breakfast brunch on Sundays. The eggs are fluffy and offerings are fresh. Service is great. The owners are friendly. Great family restaurant with great views of Silver Lake.

The food was good the service was a little slow but there was a very large party in there that couldn't make up their mind and we're drinking very quick and wanted refills was nice to look out at the lake

Love this place! Great food, people and location. Our favorite in the Salem, Silver Lake area. I have loved everything I have eaten here.

Ham and prime rib cut for you
Baked cod flaked apart with fork
Fluffy scrambled eggs
Bacon and sausages crumble d chorizo
Pancakes and French toast hash browns
Fresh fruit that was ripe
Delicious eclairs and cinnamon rolls
So much food.. all cooked Great!
Service was fantastic
It was rainy morning

Family member living in Franksville said "best fish fry" and "enjoyed the lakeside view". When I read the background of Copper Bottom to my Navy veteran husband, we decided to visit. Not disappointed. We agree with first assessment. Plus our waitress was friendly and efficient. We'll be trying the prime rib next. Husband looked at the photo I took and quipped, "Battleship grey." lol Yes, handicap accessible.
Of local interest - check out Fox River Park. A quaint place to let the little kids romp or the family play frisbee golf, tennis, or volleyball. Beautiful grounds.

Had a wonderful afternoon meal on a quiet lake. Perfect weather, perfect meal, justba lovely time! Been awhile since we were here. Change of owners has made a huge difference. Definitely worth the trip now!

Love Copper Bottom! The team is great! Food is good, drinks are reasonable and the views are great!

Great food at reasonable prices. It's hard to beat the Thursday pizza special anywhere else.

We go here quite often and LOVE IT! We wanted to try their Mexican Tuesday night, and wasn't too sure about going since it isn't always on their menu and they aren't "known" for serving Mexican. We have never been disappointed - always consistent with food, flavors, choices, service and cleanliness. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! My husband had steak frajitas, and I had tacos - tortilla - chicken and chorizo. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Better than most Mexican restaurants too!!!!!! This was another great offering from Copper Bottom!!!!!!!!

Last year we found the newly remodeled Copper Bottom bar and grill. The new owners are wonderful friendly people. We totally enjoyed the Friday night fishing fry. It is all you can eat so ask for more if you need it.
The outdoor seating has been totally upgraded and lots of tables added. There is live music on weekends outside and it's been wonderful. Places to park your boat's if that's how your arriving. If by car they added an entire new parking lot ! So many upgrades and the food ! Its fantastic the servers are very personable as well. Our server many times now has been a gal named Melissa and she's the bomb ! Great service. Now they have a Sunday brunch that is amazing ! I highly recommend The Copper Bottom Bar and Grill any time of year. .
