CNY Family Nurse Practitioner

Brenda Carney is the most genuine NP I’ve ever had. She truly cares about all of her patient. I would highly recommend her!!!!

I really really like this office so far!! Everyone is super nice and I even set my hubby up here!! I have not waited more than 15 mins in the waiting room and all of my concerns were actually listened to

I started going there when it opened in 2006. Terry Smith was wonderful and gave me TLC for 10 years. When she moved I saw 3 different nurse practitioners there. For me, Jennifer was the best fit for me. In fact I was quite I'll a week ago and had to cancel the appointment on Friday March 13th. Because I was too I'll to leave my home. I had a call from their office on March 14th. To get me in on the 17th. What doctor's office calls on a Saturday?! I plan to stick with Jen!

After reading the other review I needed to post my experience. I have been seeing this practice for years. I couldn't be more pleased and recommend them to anyone looking for a primary physician. The reasons M gave for not liking are the very reasons I left my previous physician. I never wait for scripts, never have trouble getting an appointment AND my NP respects the decisions I make regarding my health.

Incredibly professional staff,makes you feel comfortable,direct,very kind women.

Real personal care. I would rather have a NP that takes their time getting to understand the patients needs, than to have an assembly line Dr. who's just in it for the money. Both NP's are quality practitioners.

I had first started going and was seeing Judy but I am now seeing Jennifer and she's been great she takes the time to listen to what's going on with me and helps me find a way to solve the issue or offers outside solutions

I love it at CNY Nurse Family Nurse. They are so good there , Brenda Carey take care of all of my health concerns !!

I would not go anywhere else. Very happy to have them for my family's health care group.

Professional friendly staff

Been going there for years and the last five or so times have been treated EXTREMELY poorly. The receptionist has a horrible attitude. Was never able to get prescriptions over the phone, and there was a long waiting time. Do not recommend.

Apparently I was released as a patient. I moved back to the area and called for an appointment. The girl kept telling me “we will not accept you back as a patient”. And seemed to really enjoy the possibility that she was ruining my day. She didn’t. But she can think she did. All because of my failure to make a follow up appt to continue receiving medical marijuana? Weirdos.

Not a very good doctors office staff snaps at you over the phone. Not very professional. On top of how can you not accept then in for a appointment all cause they ain't come to an appointment nobody knew about for 3 yrs lol a joke. Hold grudges much.

Worst set of staff me and my fiancé have ever come across.The front end staff are always bi***y, always have an attitude and talk to you like you’re in preschool. Never mind how they charge you out the a** for procedures that were never discussed, and done behind the patients back and never approved by said patient. Also called to cancel an appointment for me and my fiancé, and they didn’t cancel for my fiancé because I was the one that called, even though both accounts have the same phone number… never even said that they didn’t cancel it, then charged us a no show fee. Disgusting.

My wife started going there about a year ago. Come to find out that trying to replace a trusted doctor is a difficult task. To start with, the girl in reception is completely incompetent. MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT before you leave. She always makes an excuse why she can't give you one, and they will either bill you again or tell you that you have a balance due on your next visit. We have a $25 co pay for doc visits but they always come up with a reason to charge more even when there has been no testing or special processes done.
They are very rude and condescending. They act as if you don't know what your own symptoms are and you leave with a diagnosis for something you don't even have. Try listening to your patients instead of trying to act superior to them. Amazing how a visit to a REAL doctor has the issue solved in a matter of minutes.
To top it off, when we were finally fed up with this office, we searched and found a quality family doctor. When the "Nurses" were notified that the health records needed to be sent to the new doctor, they refused to do this until any and all bills were paid.
#1. Like I said, GET A RECEIPT. They tried to double charge again.
#2. They can't withhold medical information to another doctor, but they did !!!
If you have any health issues other than a runny nose, go someplace else. Save yourself the hassle.

This office is a joke my wife had a stroke and was in the hospital the day of her appointment and I called to let them know about it and her not being able to make it and she calls to reschedule after she is released and they tell her she is no longer a patient there that is rilly messed up in my book I would not refer a animal to even go there

The staff at this facility is beyond rude and has no experience on dealing with people. I think the NPs at this office need to take a look at who they hired. They swore at me and they hung up on me.... not professional at all!!
