Meredith's Bread

Some of the very best gluten-free baking I've ever had. I bought a few things from here, but so far I've tried the black-and-white cookie and the scone and both were moist and delicious. I can't truthfully say this about all gluten-free baked goods, but I truly couldn't tell they were gluten-free. Will definitely be going back when I need some more gluten-free baked goods!

We passed this store when driving down the highway and decided to try it since GF bakeries are fairly uncommon. It was nice to see that everything gluten free was kept separate so you knew what was safe to buy. I tried several different things and did not react to any of them. I was very glad to know they are celiac safe.

My favorite item was the chocolate chip muffin. It was like a chocolate chip cookie! It has generous portions with tons of chocolate chips. Any chocolate lover would like it and it took me several sittings to finish it. The Apple one was also delicious and flavorful- the only downside was that it was very crumbly and messy to eat.

The only bread I tried was the cinnamon raisin. It was very good. I don’t eat much bread anymore since going gluten free so it was a nice treat. I’m sure the rolls would be great for the holidays and special occasions. They also have some beautiful pies which would also be great to bring to a dinner event.

In the future it would be great if they added GF dog treats and cinnamon rolls as options.

A few of the baked goods were just okay. I wouldn’t have the scones again as the one I tried didn’t have much flavor and tasted like plain dough. I also thought the caramels had a lot more almond flavor than I expected which wasn’t my preference. Despite not loving every single item I tried, I think anyone GF could find something they like here to enjoy.

Like many, I made the mistake of driving past this place about 100x before finally going in. Wow. Amazing goodies! Including an entire section of delicious grain and gluten free items! Hidden gems: the black and white cookies are some of the best i've ever had and the black and white "explosions" are some of the most interesting little treats i've found.

I've been getting their gluten free products for years at local farmer's market and their breads are absolutely delicious. I love their peasant bread and the scones are amazing. I'm always stocking up whenever I can and their breads last me throughout the week without needing to be refrigerated (though they do freeze well). Their breads aren't crumbly and they don't fall apart like many other gluten free breads. Their prices are very fair and I always have a nice interaction with the people who run their stands at the farmer's market. I highly recommend if you're gluten free or just looking for some delicious baked goods with quality ingredients that come at a fair price!

This place is your go-to place for gluten free and vegan sweet desires!

I was on my way home from Belleayre Mountain and came across this small bakery. Ordered a vegan blueberry bread for $6.

SO GOOD. SUCH A GREAT VALUE.

I had to go back and get another one! I also ended up getting the following:
- Honey Crisp Apple Crumb Bread
- Cranberry Biscotti
- Classic Biscotti

All are delicious and I would absolutely come back if I’m ever in the area!

Delicious, and terrific value for the money. Bought banana bread, lemon pie, spinach and feta pastry and raspberry nut bars. All excellent!!

I always buy raspberry nut bar and biscotti on Wednesdays from tribeca . What a great bakery and super flavorful cookies . Will try breads next time

I've purchased gluten free products from Meredith's bread before for myself whenever I see them at farmers markets so when I was looking for a place to buy gluten free apple pies from for holiday gifts for my companies clients I knew to try them. The order and pick up process was easy, you could choose which market to pick up from which worked out well for me since there were locations in both Manhattan and Westchester and they had a nice selection of different pies available if you wanted something other than apple. Everything went well and all the clients loved their pies.

Amazing bakery. I found wonderful gluten free items and "regular" items. One of my favorites is the gluten free Peasant Bread. Great texture and tastes a bit like pumpernickel. I haven't seen anything like this in gluten free before. The person at the counter was very helpful. The bakery also does mail order.

They sell at our green market down here in nyc .Our favorites are the chocolate lace cookies and the banana nut loaf .

Everything we’d hoped for and more. Amazing selection of gluten free baked goods, many bread options, lots of sweet treats, all around an amazing gem for the area.

I am on a gluten free diet and my friend turned me on to Meredith’s bread.
Everything was just delicious.
I was so happy to learn that they ship and was able to send packages to my son and my close friend.
Each package contained different items from bagels, rosemary bread, rustic bread, muffins, scones, key lime pie , and

Pick it up at the farmers market every week! Such an amazing selection of gluten free options.

HOLY MOLY! This place is good. We were looking for gluten free and dairy free. They were already sold out of a few things (like bagels and cookies) but we were able to get an olive and rosemary loaf. We tried it in the car and immediately went back inside for a second loaf to keep in the freezer. The texture of the bread is lovely and the flavors so fragrant and fresh. We will definitely be back.

So DELICIOUS! I'm gluten free and was happy to have found this place on my trip. The GF lace cookies and raisin bread is to die for.

Ulster County is lucky to have this gem as one of the anchors in our community. I'm a huge fan of local businesses run by hard working families, and a talented bakery staff. Bakeries and small businesses like Meredith's are the heartbeat of our area. The chocolate pecan pie is the bomb. Try it, NOW! If you're gluten free, or a gluten feene like myself, this is your spot. I have not shopped at the Kingston Bakery location, but have always made a point to stop at their stand at the Ramsey Farmers' Market on Sunday morning, as well as the Nyack Farmers' Market on Thursdays. Everything I buy is fresh and delicious. I have bought different breads, pies, cookies, and probably most of their products. My favorite is the NYS Peasant Bread, followed by the Rosemary and Olive Bread. I love that all of the products have a minimal amount of ingredients but always a big taste. I recently did an online order and everything went smoothly, no problems. Highly recommend.

Today we did a pie fundraiser with Meredith's bread. They were phenomenal! Not only did they provide us with such a quality product. (Everything they make is delicious!) They were helpful throughout the whole process. Some pies even fell upon delivery and they drove back to the store and got us new ones and then drove them back to us! Definitely recommend using them for a fundraiser and supporting their wonderful business.
