Lovesac

We recently purchased a Lovesac couch and LOVE it.

In-store shopping experience: Fantastic. We worked with Zoe at Kenwood Towne Center. She put zero pressure on us, educated us thoroughly on everything we needed to make our decision, and helped us book a private appointment so we could be COVID-safe and have the time and attention we needed to understand our options.

Post-Purchase Customer Service Experience: Also fantastic - including receiving full directions on assembly via email, detailed tracking information that helped us know exactly what to expect from FedEx, and getting an adjustment on our purchase total when a new, better promotion became available within 14 days of our purchase. Claire & Joy were both incredibly friendly and helpful.

So now, let's talk about the couch.
Packaging: The pieces are very well-packaged and everything is well-made, high quality.

Delivery: Our order was ready to ship in <24 hours. We received the pieces of our order in 3-4 shipments with the final piece arriving 12 days after ordering in the showroom.

Assembly: Definitely set aside a few hours. Best as a 2 person job. The pillows/cushions are easiest to cover (just make sure to face the seat cushion zippers down, and pillow tags inward away from cover zipper), the storage cubes are a little more challenging (line up those seams!), and sides/backs are doable, but take some muscle (again, make sure you line up the seams and check to make sure you insert the correct end into the cover). We assembled pieces as they arrived which helped.

Comfort: We LOVE this couch. We got Lovesoft filling and Lux Chenille covers. The covers are smooth and soft. It looks good and it is VERY comfortable as a couch AND as a bed (We cover with our own blanket and sheet for sleeping so we don't feel where cushions meet & use clamps to keep seats tightly together. Their bedding kit is currently on backorder). Our sactional is 4 seats across x 2 seats deep. 4 people can sit side by side on it with legs up/out. If we want to "camp out" in our basement, we previously would setup and take down air mattresses (ugh). Now we all just sleep on the couch. Each person comfortably lays on 2 seats. Compared to a regular couch pull out bed, this has WAY more cushioning/support. My daughter was laying next to me and I couldn't feel her moving at all! It's like she wasn't there!

Storage: We went with maximum storage (all storage cubes). We were able to free up 3 bookshelves by putting our board games and puzzles into 2 of our storage cubes. Now my books have a home again!! It is a little less convenient to get into the back row of storage cubes (vs. front row) and makes them heavier/less movable, but we intentionally stored heavier/less frequently used items here for that exact reason. We do not expect to have to get into them as much or move the back row.

Power: We did not purchase the power cubes. Instead I bought 2 power cords from Target and ran them through 1 back and 1 side piece. Then I plugged another multi-usb charger into that. We have no issues with everyone having access to a charger if needed. Our couch is up against a wall.

Cupholders: We got 4 cup holders. Love that they are repositionable. We have 1 on each side arm and 2 on the backside against the wall. Love them.

Table: We like it. A downside is storing it. It does not fit in a storage cube. On its side standing up, it's the perfect table for a small fan.

Price: It IS expensive. We were happy to see a promotion & they offered 6 & 12 month 0% financing.

For us, this is not JUST a couch. It's also a guest bed. Our family is spending more time together in the same room. It replaced a couch we had for 24 yrs(!!!). Knowing we can easily wash, rotate or replace pieces/covers whenever needed to keep it looking good is a HUGE benefit. Plus, love the flexibility. If we ever want a new configuration, we can easily rearrange what we have OR with 4 more sides we could transform it into 2 couches and 1 love seat. Very versatile!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. They asked our needs and showed us a variety of options and even options for down the road. They answered all questions thoroughly. They did not apply any pressure tactics to make a quick decision. They gave us time and space to make our decision. That made the experience in itself great. We ordered on Sunday and it's being delivered in less than 1 week. They gave us both printed and emailed copies of the order and layout as well as emailed tips on putting the sactional together. I don't know that you could ask for anything more from a customer service.

We went to 3 Lovesac stores before settling on the Kenwood location to make our third Lovesac purchase. We chose that location because of the manager, Megan. I needed someone who could answer my 100 questions and she didn’t miss a beat. We needed a very large sectional but because Lovesac gives you so many choices for cushion firmness, materials, and configuration, it took me forever to decide. Megan was so patient and knowledgeable (even allowing me to take the samples into the mall to see it under different lighting) to ensure the color was exactly what we needed. When I wasn’t sure about the color samples in the store, she encouraged me to order other samples not available in the store to ensure I was making the best choice for our family so I took her advice and I’m so glad I did because it was one of those I ended up choosing. Since ours was a custom order it took a bit longer for delivery but she checked in via text every few weeks to give me a status update and ask if I had any questions. When I ordered my sectional I didn’t have my military ID paperwork filled out for the discount they offer so she allowed me to fill it out after the purchase was made and once approved she applied it to my order this reducing the final price I paid. Our sectional arrived Thursday much to our delight and she just texted me again to ask if everything arrived as it should have, if I was happy with my purchase, and would I send her pics once we set it up so she could see how it looked in my renovated living room once it was all assembled into the configuration we chose. I don’t know a single other sales person who bothers to offer this kind of personal touch and customer service! It was more like dealing with a friend than a sales associate. I am so appreciative of the whole buying experience, not just because we love the Lovesac product because I could have purchased it at any location, but I am truly thankful that Megan was working the day I walked in to Kenwood to select my sectional. I hope Lovesac appreciates the employee they have in her! It is very rare in today’s climate. If you happen to see this review, Megan, I want to thank you for all of your amazing assistance!

Nadine is a great employee and she was very helpful. Her drip game was on point even though the white forces are kinda basic.

Great store, great staff. The furniture is super comfortable. The neat thing about it is how well you can customize it.

Nadine is the best worker I’ve ever had. She helped us a lot when we needed help. She deserves a raise for her hard work. I think she would be a great manager. (Also what is her last name? Just for a better review next time)

Stopped by to see what we would want to buy when we get in our new house next month. Isaac was super helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and made it a reallt fun experience. We will definitely be purchasing a sactional thanks to him.

They use RECYCLED MATERIALS for the Lovesac! This is what got me on board with this product. And there’s a lifetime warranty on the inserts. If it’s not too fluffy for you, they’ll send you more recycled memory foam to add to the Lovesac.
Also for some reason my order wouldn’t work online so I had to go into the showroom and they were very helpful and it didn’t take long at all. I also added a blanket that wasn’t on my list originally and got a discount!

The overall experience at the Kenwood store was fantastic. The staff was very knowledgeable and patient as my husband and I made our selections. The demonstrations of the products and how they worked was extremely helpful in determining what would work best for our family. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new couch and cannot wait to enjoy it for many years to come!

The showroom in Cincinnati, OH was fantastic. The woman working that day managed multiple customers while still making us a priority when we had questions (& we had many). Great experience and cannot wait for our new sofa to arrive!

We don't have our couch yet - so this review is for our store visit experience, which was 5 stars! Kim was informative, knowledgeable, and excited about Lovesac. She was alone in the store but got to everyone without showing stress. She wasn't at all pushy and gave us the details from a-z on the configuration we wanted. Now we can't wait for our couch to arrive! Thanks, Kim!! Update: we still live our couch! However, the pet friendly fabric we chose snags easily and holds dog hair like Velcro. :( Wishing for a different fabric but will have to wait.

Great customer service! Jenny helped me for almost 2 hours while I decided what I wanted. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I ended up getting exactly what I wanted (and then some), and I’m eagerly awaiting delivery. Overall, great experience! Thanks, Jenny!

Kim did a fantastic job of working with us to get us exactly what we needed for the space we have to fill with love sac furniture. Besides that she completely cleans the entire facility between ever customer to make sure it is clean and safe. Great job!

Kim, the store manager was extremely helpful. She navigated us through upcoming sales and was able to help configured a layout made more sense than the one we had thought we wanted... And saved us $2500 in the process!

I’m part of the lovesac family and it’s all thanks to the help of the amazing girls Zoe and Nadine at the Kenwood store. They were so knowledgeable, helpful and fun to work with! They were helpful in the store but also made efforts to reach out through the stores text service to help with changes to my quote. Any company would be thankful to have these ladies representing their brand. Can’t wait to have people over so they can fall in love with the lovesac like I have!!

First time visiting Lovesac in person. Sales lady was very friendly. We have the Bigsac and fell in love with the pillowsac that turns into a bed. What an awesome idea for a guest bed or even a fun sitting area for an office or residence hall room! Came in for one of the pillows. Already have the 24x24 and wanted the rectangular toss pillow. They had it and got the polar fur cover. These are the most comfy pillow ever especially as the best couch napping pillow! If you have not tried their pillows do it. They are a fun comfy cozy accessory!

We went to the showroom at Kenwood so we could see the Pillowsac in person. Kim helped us and was amazing. Not pushy at all-very informative and helped us make the decision as to which one to get. Thank you Kim! Can’t wait til it arrives!

The employees were friendly and helpful. I purchased the big one and a footsac blanket. While my chair hasn’t arrived yet, I am certain I will love it. And the blanket in a wombat fur is absolute heaven. Although they are expensive, I’m happy with my decision.
