Gentlemen's Corner Barber Shop

I just have to rave about this place for a minute!!
I just took my son in to get his hair cut for his birthday today (he's the big 7!) These guys were SO sweet, they had the entire shop sing happy birthday to him, made his whole day and you made him feel so special! Then he even got a special treat after. You guys rock!! Thank you for making my son's day!!

Justin has been cutting my sons hair since he was little. Love the time he takes and how intent he is on pleasing my son, who is 9. He always looks fantastic afterwards. Thanks again for another great cut!

Outstanding! My 1st time there and I will definitely be going here from now on! I can't remember the name of the barber I had but he hooked me up proper with a cut and a beard trim after growing my hair out for over a year. A great experience, I highly recommend!

Took my dad here to get a shave and a haircut with Mitch. Made my dad feel Like a million bucks. Very friendly and talented barbers. They make you feel like you’re in your own living room. Thanks!!!

I always get a great cut here. Paulie is the best around. They are always pleasant to chat with too..I recommend highly recommend them.

George did an AMAZING job on my son's haircut/design. My son is not a fan of haircuts, and he left there one happy little boy.

Always a good atmosphere and excellent haircut. Wait time is usually around 45 minutes, but every barber there is talented. Highly recommend.

The owner , Paulie, is a master at his craft. I'm very particular when it comes to letting someone cut my hair and if he isn't there then I don't get my haircut. I once had a clean shave from him but I was freaking out...he calmly explained everything as he was doing it while I was gripping the arms of his barber chair like I was going to launch myself out of it at any second. He knows I have severe anxiety and was accommodating. If you're gonna go...ask for Paulie. Tell em Derek recommended him.

My 2 year old was long over do for his first hair cut. I thought long might be the answer because I couldn't bare to chop curly, long red locks
When I tell you this barber was absolutely amazing with a screaming wiggling crying baby the process took about 40 mins but felt like a lifetime and he was so patient and persistent

We've been to about 5 different barbershops in the area, none of which compare to the atmosphere and quality of cuts that are at GCBS. They always take their time with the little people and even my son (who's never favored getting a hair cut) looks forward to coming here. No matter which barber takes on my impatient 4 year old, he always ends up with a great hair cut.

Stopped in today for my first visit to the barber shop. I was greeted right away by the owner and two other barbers. I got a great cut from Glen and could not be happier with the experience and the result! Glen was great to work with and I look forward to coming back regularly. Truly a class act place!

First place where my youngest felt really comfortable. He has issues with clippers. Very attentive to his issue, explained very well what was needed of him(positioning his head) instead of forcing him.
My son gave them two thumbs up!! He walked out with a smile and said "we need to only come here, Mommy"

Weve gone 2 times to try to get my sons hair cut. Both times more than just his barber tried to help calm him about getting his haircut and did the best they could. My son is getting better and has some issues but said today that he really liked his barber and wants to be one when he grows up...hes only 5 but if he turned out like these guys I would be happy. Cant wait to keep trying and I wont go anywhere else. Thanks guys!

I have been getting my hair cut by Mike and Paul for years and have never been disappointed. There are always a lot of barbers on hand so there is never a long wait. Very clean, great atmosphere, and a pleasant greeting from the staff are the first things you will encounter when walking into this place. Best thing about this place is that they are the only Barbershop in the area that offers the classic hot towel shave. So if you are looking for a classic Barbershop with a modern touch then this is the place for you.

Hands down, this is the best place for guys to get a haircut! Whether you're young or old, have long hair or short, clean cut or looking like you just emerged from a deserted island, these gentlemen will have you looking your best, no doubt! Everybody there is friendly and professional, I always have a good laugh when I visit, it's not just a haircut - it's a great experience that leaves you feeling like a gentleman every time.

My experience with this place has been nothing but awesome. I have been there a handful of times but each time they give the best cuts and great atmosphere. Each barber has an amazing personality and willing to talk about anything with you, which really builds a rapport with them. At the corrections academy I am currently in, other C.O's and recruits have complimented on the cuts they gave me. I look forward to going to them when I have my uniform inspections to give me nothing short of perfect. Awesome place and great people. Love this place.

I have to say these guys are a great group of barbers first time I went was to take my sons for cuts so my hat goes off to mike he is a great barber. This will be the only place I will ever go to and take my boys there as well it is a very respectful place and there's never a long wait!!! I just wanted to add that I could not believe some of the reviews I have read on here only for the fact that I've seen from experience there every barber there has always been gentlemens and make you feel welcome and take pride in there work, much respect to all of them

I have been getting my hair cut here now about 4 or more years. Considering being in the military for 7 years I've had many haircuts and been to many different barber shops. I prefer the Gentlemen's Corner Barber over all my experiences from the atmosphere to all the professional barbers this place is top notch. I have also moved an hour away and still make the trip once every 2 weeks to get my haircut by Paulie! Great place!!

This is the only place I go to get my hair cut, and I live in Syracuse. I've been to a few old school barbers, and this is by far my favorite. Always the best haircuts, an awesome atmosphere, fast service, and Paul is the only person I trust to cut my beard. I did have one negative experience with one of the barbers cutting my beard on New Years Eve, but Paul offered to meet me back at the shop to fix it an hour after they closed... ON NEW YEARS EVE!! I've got nothing but respect for their way of doing business, and there's a bright future ahead for this shop. Simply Outstanding!
