Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars

Went here last week for a tasting. Many different options to choose from and our server was very knowledgeable of what wines we might like. Really like the dry rosé and the dessert riesling. The grounds are really nice and beautiful views of Seneca Lake right out the windows. if you’re near Seneca Lake or Watkins Glen I had the recommend stopping here for a tasting or grabbing some wine.

100% solar powered Lamoreaux Landing is a delightful and unpretentious experience overlooking Seneca Lake. It can be a touch windy outside but they have both indoor and outdoor wine enjoying spaces. The Rosé is a particular standout and worth taking home. Flavorful without being overt. Quite good.

Rich wooden interior with nice seating spaces, plenty of affordable wine on display, bits and bites if you’re hungry, and very personable staff all round out the experience.

Take note of the signs and respect their party size limit.

Relatively limited parking so if it’s exceptionally busy you might need to be creative.

In my opinion, this winery has some of the best Chardonnay on the lake. We’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. In fact, we make sure to always visit. Their Rieslings and gewürztraminers are also very good and may rival some higher end wineries on the west shore…

Staff is great. The best ice wine I have ever tried!! George (if I don’t recall your name sorry), took good care of us we really loved them. Although the Garden is neat, We decided to do the indoor tasting- they provided an excellent experience, especially to my friend that tried ice wine for the first time. Dog friendly- Goku enjoyed a few treats as well. And yes, I bought a bottle.

Loved how the staff interacted with us. Very knowledgeable and attentive. Gave us recommendations to different wineries in the area. Dog friendly. Would recommend. Bought 3 bottles of wine.

This is one of our favorite wineries on Seneca Lake. Their Reisling is amazing. The service was professional and personable. We brought home several bottles to share on special occasions. We highly recommend this winery.

This is a beautiful location, and the staff is super nice. The rieslings are Top Notch and the view is wonderful. Definitely a place to visit :-)

Last August, we visited Lamoreaux Landing. We very much enjoyed the outdoor tasting setting, instead of being cramped around the bar. Everyone was extremely helpful in choosing our case to take home. I just ordered another case effortlessly. We will continue to be part of their case club, and hope to visit again in the very near future. Thanks for everything!! 🍷

Really high quality wines. Compared to another good winery in Seneca lakes (not to be named) , it was clearly better. Had a fantastic 2012 chardonnay, quite a few rieslings that were excellent. Enjoyed the whites more than the reds, but reds were good as well.

We had a delightful time visiting Lamoreaux Landing last weekend. We were escorted to the back tasting room where it was a little more private and quiet. Nice. Maura hosted our tasting, and boy does she know her wines, grapes, and the process that makes them. She covered the mineral content of the soil, using a map of the vineyards. Also the grafting the Riesling vines from Germany and the different flavors that they produce. Great job. We were so impressed her and the wines, we bought 6 bottles. Save them for special occasions. Great spot for wine tasting! It has excellent wines and a great venue. If your into a white wine this is the spot! Plus if you do a wine tasting it’s only $10!

Good wine, great experience! Margaret was an amazing “flight attendant”. She was very knowledgeable about their wines and a true joy to meet. The single vineyard Rieslings were very good.
Worth the visit

Decided to open a bottle of 2021 Dry Rose of Pinot Noir. What a fun and really unfussy "brunch" wine. Thought one glass would suffice. WRONG. Split the bottle with my wife and finished it as we enjoyed our meal.

Fantastic wine, definitely one of the best wineries in the Finger Lakes (check out their Dry Riesling and Gewurztraminer). Reservations strongly encouraged as the indoor serving space isn't massive, but extremely well maintained.

The property has an incredible view of the lake, and ample lawn and seating space. My only complaint is that the paint on the facade of the building is chipped / damaged, and has been so for the last 2 years that I have been visiting. It doesn't affect the wine at all, but it is slightly off-putting as it is the first thing that guests see upon entery

We stopped in early and there was only one other couple there. A gentleman named Ford, like the car not the Chevy, helped us and he was great. He provided us with the information we needed for the wines we went on to purchase. The atmosphere was relaxed with the reservation system versus first come, first serve. It was our second time visiting this winery and there will be a third.

Had an excellent experience with a party of 5 last weekend. We had a reservation, and inclement weather meant that the lovely indoor setting was not crowded while we enjoyed our tasting. Maura provided excellent tasting recommendations, and her information about the wine growing and making process was interesting to all of us. She went above and beyond to answer our questions!

First class winery! Our favorite in FLX. All the wines, not just the rieslings, are very good. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and COVID safe precautions were strictly followed. Highly recommend - a must when you're in the Finger Lakes.

Nice place to visit for drier wines. The tasting room is very nice, and has lovely views. The rieslings we tried were very good, and we are not typically fans of riesling. The Bordeaux blend was delicious. Our server was excellent and very knowledgeable. We only wish we remembered her name, she's from Ithaca. Would return. We called for a reservation while on our way.
