Small park but perfect for a walk or picnic and they got some good fishing spots

Lots of places to barbecue and host a small gatherings. Very clean, relaxing, safe and lots of good restaurant.

The best time to come here is summer time when it’s warm. I was advised that swimming is allowed but the lake is very deep. It’s 900 meters deep one of the deepest lake it Seneca.

Beautiful place the only problem is I'm camping and every campsite appear in the north is shut down. Couldn't even find a place to dump my tanks. Wish they had RV spots there as well as a tank dump. Beautiful place

Ample parking at different spots, near visitor center and hotel etc.

Great place to walk dogs. Huge trees, dogs allowed on beach but there was seaweed. Also a splash pad and several playgrounds for kids.

Absolutely beautiful location no trash on the ground well maintained and a nice place to take your dog for a stroll

Beautiful lake for kayaking. We launched at 4:30 and left the park around 7:30. We launched at the grassy, gravel, NY paddle trails. There was a sign. Adjacent to the marina. Would definitely paddle there again. No restrooms near the launch we used.

Seneca Lake State Park is a very nice place to go spend the day. It is fun to pack a picnic and hang out under the trees. It has a large playground, the spray park, a sand beach (which does not have a lifeguard this 2021 year that I am aware of). It also has a paved walking/running/biking trail that follows the edge of the lake. There are open pavilions and tons of picnic tables. It was quite crowded near the spraypark the last I was there, but it is less crowded in other parts. The paved walking trail leads out of the park continuously to the Welcome Center. Near the Welcome Center there are 2 more playgrounds, as well as an ice cream stand. The concession stand is not open inside the park this year.

It costs $8 to enter the park with with car. It is possible to enter via the park at the south end of the trail and park for free.

Great park! Didn’t see everything in one visit so we will have to go back again. On this visit we launched our kayak and toodled around in the marina area and on the river. We tried to go out on the lake but it was a bit windy and choppy the day we went. Saw a lot of great blue herons and even a snake swimming in the water. Daughter and I had a blast. We want to go back to check out the spray park. She did have fun playing on one of the regular playgrounds once we were done kayaking.

Great place to enjoy picnic, walk, cycling or other water sport activities. Seneca Lake State Park is a 141-acre located in Seneca county, New York. Children will be specially delighted with their Spray ground and Playground facilities.

Beautiful view especially during the sunset. Refreshing breeze made me feel very refreshed while on my drive from ohio to Syracuse.

This place was so much fun. The littles enjoyed the Spray Ground, playground and beach areas. There was plenty of space for the rest of us to picnic and spread out and just enjoy the weather and scenery.
The only downside was that the concession was closed.

Beautiful place. We've been coming here for years for certain family events. Recently, we had our family reunion here. This place brings back many family memories.

I have visited the park few times in the past two years. The park is long and narrow along the lake, very beautiful scenery and gorgeous trees. Extensive facilities provided involving picnic areas, playgrounds, boat docks and more. In the summer time it's possible to swim along the seawall.

Beautiful quiet flat trail. The fall leaves made it even better. Good for dogs and kids.

Lovely park. Great scenery and good place to go boating and riding bikes and etc. It's just very nice out here and pics can't do it justice.
