Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery

This place was recommended to us by many visitors and locals. The wine was good and the views were beautiful. Definitely worth a stop. They also have a lot of beer options for those that are less interested in wine.

This place is amazing. The fact that they do wine flights makes me happy. The view is breathtaking. Looking forward to coming back and getting the beer and ordering food. It's a must visit if you're in the area.

The entire Wagner winery/Cafe/brewery had been a treat for us for the 4 decades since Bill Wagner opened the octagon. We've spent some of our best summer days here especially when our (millennial) kids were growing up. Lots of lush outdoor space, world class view of the vineyard and lake, pristinely kept grounds. Food in the Ginny Lee is consistently good to excellent. I am more a beer person than a wine person and enjoy the great brews and deck outside the brewery. Everyone is friendly. It's been a while since I've visited and now in July 2023 is wonderful to see that the family has kept the place moving in the same direction now that the founder has passed. This place is among New York's gems.

The expansive views, picnic tables abound on the Winery yineyards. The patio with the beer and wine sampling (for a small purchase price) had amazing views. Very knowledgeable staff. Purchased the Cross Section IPA, which won Gold in the NYS craft beer tasting. Nice gift shop. We didn't eat at the Cafe, but it had many smiling patrons leaving.
Flights, of 4 good size samplings was just $8.00. We had the Fall Harvest. Such a nice afternoon.

Wines were excellent and John, the server, was even better. An expert on the Titanic, we got a wonderful historic depiction of the events and the people on the ship. It was fascinating, and made the wine experience even better. The wines are excellent and the views of the
lake are breathtaking.

John was the highlight of our trip to the finger lakes. His wine tasting was fun and I learned so much. He gave us the history behind wine and grapes and was a wonderful storyteller. The wines were great and I would come back to the area just to get another tasting lesson from him. This location wouldn’t be as great without him. Hopefully we can reserve John as a tour guide and take him around the lakes next time. Absolutely wonderful

If you’ve had John as your wine sever then you know exactly why I gave 5 stars. He explains the wine very well and tells us the background of the wine and why you might like it and why you might not. I enjoyed this winery very much! Recommend times 100000000!!!

John at the tasting bar is a true gem when it comes to his knowledge and expertise in the realm of wine and history. As soon as we sat at the bar, we knew we were in the presence of a master. His passion for wine was palpable as he effortlessly guided us through the wine tasting list, offering detailed descriptions and fascinating anecdotes about each bottle/grape varietal selected. His depth of knowledge extended far beyond the flavors and regions; he seamlessly weaved in historical context, bringing each wine to life with captivating stories that enhanced my appreciation for them. John's ability to recommend the perfect wine based on our preferences was uncanny, and we were consistently delighted with his selections. Great place for the whole family. Beer flights, wine flights, kids flight. Clean, beautiful view of Seneca Lake and a nice breeze on a sunny day.

Well known for a reason, the wines were fantastic! Great selection and location as well with plenty of seats and nice views. Food looked good too but unfortunately we had already eaten.

Amazing place with a stunning view of the lake and the vineyards. The selection of wines was pretty good. They had live music that made a nice vibe. You could see the sunset on the lake from your table. So romantic that we actually witnessed a proposal! I'll definitely go back!

This place is beautiful. We came for light fare food and to listen to Evan Dillon. This place was very family friendly, amazing prices and beautiful views of Seneca lake. The service was on point as well. Definitely will be back! A lot of parking as well.

Such a wonderful experience! My husband and I both had lunch and a wine tasting here. The views were amazing with a large outdoor deck. Our wine tasting was very intimate and personal which made the experience so wonderful!

Visited Wagner Vineyard on Sunday for my best friend's bachelorette weekend, by far the best experience of the day, Austin and Abby treated our group so warmly and Austin was so engaging throughout our tasting, we enjoyed our time here very much🤍

The five of us came here this past weekend, and it was one of the highlights of the bachelorette trip! Austin was our sommelier, and he was an absolute delight. Very knowledgeable, and personable, and he had great recommendations. He even was kind enough to pour a glass of their delicious alcohol-free grape juice to our designated driver at no extra cost.

One of the surprises of our trip. A charming and beautiful place. The food in the cafe is excellent, the wine is excellent, and the children had plenty of space to play and run.

This place had a great environment and was probably the most scenic winery in the area with a great view of the lake. It is definitely a classier winery, not as fun as three brothers or Hazlitt if that is what your looking for.
