City Barbeque

We didn’t come in until 830pm I just now realized they close @ 9pm when I looked up the store to write the review. Not one staff member rushed us. Nicole was the manager and she was extremely pleasant to customers the cook was extremely nice to us he went over and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our food. The young gentle out front was extremely nice to us offered to get people more sauce if they needed it. I don’t think we have ate at a cleaner restaurant on this side of town. We will definitely be back!

I had the Carolina gold pulled pork sandwich, corn pudding and Cole slaw. All delicious. The Carolina gold sauce is different from most bar-b-q sauces I've had. I liked it, but I preferred their original (a little smokey) & their sweet (not overly sweet at all).

We went there 2 weeks after it opened. Completely unorganized! People were coming back with wrong orders. We went back 2 months later and it was even worse. The food quality had dropped and completely unsanitary. Staff was outside wearing gloves talking on phones and then went back in handling food. The phone was ringing off the hook and the manager told them not to answer. I heard they got a new manager so I decided to give it another try. What a difference!! Everyone was working as a team, friendly and most of all the food was great. I had the brisket with the bun and potato salad.. I asked the manager his name (Mike) and told him I'd be back. Want to try the pastrami too...must be good because they were sold out!

There were three of us, two of us got the 2 meat combos, one was Turkey and brisket, the other was brisket and pulled pork, the third person got chicken fingers (5) and we all got a side order of fries. The food was fabulous. The brisket, pulled pork, and turkey was outstanding. The fries and the Mac & cheese all together it was delicious. The sauces are great. The sides were additional as were the drinks. Our total bill was $71 and some change.

I went for the veterans day free meal and it was excellent. I had the brisket sandwich, baked beans and a drink. Thank you City Barbeque for honoring our veterans.

Food here is awesome. I got the 1/2 chicken with BBQ sauce. The Brush Fire BBQ sauce is awesome. Also the salad with ranch dressing is the best around.

So good. And food was decently priced- we will be back again for sure!!

1st time! Pulled chicken piled high on bun with side - Green Beans & Bacon. Serve yourself for choice of BBQ sauce, drinks & other condiments + To Go containers which you will need for leftover.

It has been open less than a month, but my local City BBQ has been a great experience everything we've been there.

The BBQ here is wonderful and I don't really like BBQ! Definitely will come back again for the smoked wings and the great service!

Went to drive thru on a Sunday. First time there and got the sampler. Not bad. I've had better but this hit the spot.

Before we left, I made a big take home meat order to enjoy with the family over the holiday weekend.

I have eaten at many city bbq restaurants, this location is my favorite. The city bbq employees were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The food quality and taste was the best I've had in my last few visits at different city bbq locations. Thanks for the great experience.

Had lunch here with my sister today. The minute I walked in the door, I could feel the good vibes. The employees were nice and helpful and smart and courteous - all of them, from the front counter to the finish. The food was excellent, but more importantly, we have never been treated so well by employees, and the manager was so nice. I really don't know how the manager was able to get a whole team of top notch people. It was so refreshing. We'll be back. Thank you!

We had the pick two. It was really good, we also got the greens and Mac n cheese. We have enough for left overs tomorrow. We will be back. Like keeping the money in the neighborhood.

My food was hot and seasoned perfectly. My only issue is that the restaurant ran out of a menu item after only being open two hours. The location is new, so it may take time to fully grasp the crowd. Other than that, this place is worth every cent.

Update June 2023: This review was done after the restaurant had been open for a short time. I ate at this location for a couple of weeks following and it was still good. I now believe that the quality was due to the staff and cook most likely being from corporate and other locations to help get the restaurant going. The taste and quality of the food has drastically changed for the worse. At one point I had tried all the sides except the corn pudding and all the proteins except for the chicken. They were all great. Now the food is either bland, missing ingredients that were there in the beginning, or are burnt or undercooked. I gave it several tries after the first bad experience, but it just keeps getting worse. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Eat at this location with caution.

I have been to another location some years ago when this chain first opened. I did not really like it then. I decided to try this new location closer to my home. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Would like if the fried pickles were battered better. I will be back!

This place is legit. They have a variety of smoked meats. There are several different sauce to sample. We got the Judges Sampler and extra sides to try. There were 4 of us (2kids) and we had plenty. They serve Pepsi.

Ordered online for pick up. Food was ready upon my arrival, and was still hot and delicious by the time I got home to enjoy it. The crew was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. You can tell the crew was really having fun and enjoying what they are doing.
