Liberty Hollow Park

Nice little park with a short trail surrounded by the river. Good for a quick hike and good for kids. There is areas with sand and rocks on the shore to skip stones. Fishing is allowed in most the area. Dogs are allowed. Small parking lot for 5 cars and a bathroom.

Beautiful scenery, no matter the season. If you enjoy observing local wildlife, this is a nice spot. A very peaceful, and mildly secluded area. Upon my visit, I arrived about an hour before Sunset, in Spring, and viewed the sunset as I ventured forth. I only went about 1/4 mile in, and watched deer, as the slowly crossed the stream. The parking seemed fairly safe, and there were plenty of spaces.

With a balanced combination of both improved and rustic trails, Liberty Hollow is a fantastic place to explore and can be done so with relative ease. The trails are "easy" to "moderate" however, are not wheelchair accessible. A great place to spend 45 min with a friend or dog. Parking is limited.

Awesome place to walk the river. The only downfall is there are 5 parking spots in the lot.

Nice river hikes, as long as the algae isn't bad. I am not sure people know this park is here, I actually found it by accident. Very quiet area.

Beautiful park... Having parking for maximum 5 cars keeps the crossed down. Many unique plant specimens.
