Big Creek at Liberty Hollow Lake MetroParks

We went during winter time to check out the icicles and they were beautiful. Such an amazing place to visit. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the parking lot.

One of the best parks for creek walking I have been to. Great for kids and just relaxing in the water.

Very nice and peaceful. Great for a lil picnic or walk with your significant other. Dog walking as well. Beautiful nature.

Small little parking lot in the middle of a residential area, so it's easy to miss. The trail leads between a fork in the river so you have river on either side of you at points. It's elevated so it's relatively dry but it can definitely get muddy. Lots of little hills that can be a bit tricky in the mud, but it leads to some beautiful views.

The trails aren't well marked, but they are pretty obvious so I had no issues with getting lost.

Fun the water's never too deep unless there was a torrential downpour and the kids love to play as long as they're old enough to tread a little water!

Great place to take stunning ice pictures.

Its a beautiful park. Theres a porta bathroom 🤢🤮 on premises, a beautiful walk down the river or take a short walk uphill to get a nice 180 degree aerial view of the gorgeous landscape below.

Beautiful Park, short path to the creek, with easy access to the creek by stairs or walk the trail. The creek bed is flat and walkable with awesome views of the shale cliffs.

Great little park in Lake County with a nice hiking creek. Dying to know the story behind the vehicle on the hillside and the axle in the creek. Anyone know about this?
