Luck Bros' Coffee House

I've had a lot of espresso across the city of Columbus at different coffee shops and I'd say this is probably in my top 3 to 5. I'm not going to pretend to be some sort of coffee aficionado, but I know what tastes good to me and what I perceive to be quality and this one ranks up there with the best of them!

Luck Bros is my favorite coffee shop in the Columbus area. The coffee is delicious and everyone who works there is always wonderful! The atmosphere is relaxing. Jantzen is also great at helping me pick new coffee to try, which is fun & helpful! I would definitely recommend stopping by!

My wife and I get coffee here a few times a month. The coffee always tastes great and we can easily say it's one of the best in Columbus. I mean we think it's the best, but subtle flavors of other coffee shops might appeal more to other people, still you can't go wrong by getting any variety of coffee here. One tip, we always get half sweet if you're getting Vietnamese coffee or other variety with added syrup.

We went to meet with someone, and I ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was really good, and well priced. An employee saw me staring at the coffee drip they had going in there and explained to me about their Kyoto Iced Coffee making process. As a former barista it was nice to have some new knowledge. Nice atmosphere and friendly neighborhood. I plan to come back and try the Kyoto coffee soon!

Luck Bros' is a great local spot. The coffee is delicious, and service is very quick. There is a lot of interior seating, and it seemed like a good number of power outlets for those looking for a place to do work. I'll definitely be going back.

I love this place! Latte was most impressive. If you enjoy hand-crafted, gourmet specialty coffee, you'll not be disappointed. With a laid-back atmosphere and freshly-roasted (on premesis) coffee, this is my favorite coffee shop anywhere. I cannot recommend more highly.

I love this place! I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but it's definitely to my liking. Great tea selection in what looks like hand-filled bags. I've heard the owner and other baristas speaking with customers about coffee and they seem super knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Staff know some customers by name and are very friendly. There's a real community vibe here which I really appreciated, being new to Columbus. It's small and can get busy during peak hours, but I've never felt overwhelmed, like I couldn't move around the way I feel at Stauf's, and I always get my drink in no time. Great treats, seriously the scones they have in sometimes are heavenly. I do wish they had some type of Stevia sweetener option for when I need a little sweetness to my coffee.

Coffee roasting well developed and beans are usually only a few day old for best flavor, they don't look oily. Baristas are knowledgeable and friendly to talk with. Nice little treats to go with coffee. Quiet atmosphere as well.

Love the community this coffee house serves. People go in and out the morning I was there, some even bringing their dogs into the place as they wait in line for coffee to go. They've got Destination Donuts and simple snacks that go well with coffee. There's the option to use Snowville Creamery milk with your coffee. Amazingly friendly staff too! Hopefully they'll be able to expand their seating area real soon so more people can sit down for coffee!

Stumbled upon Luck Brothers as my son and I explored the neighborhood, and the experience made a good day great! Chai latte thoughtfully prepared with oatmilk (one of 5 or so non-dairy milk options, which is a generous amount and appreciated by the non-dairy set) and served with a masked smile. Felt safe and welcoming and the staff obviously conveyed joy in their work. I will absolutely be a repeat customer!

New to the coffee game, as a drinker and brewing my own at home.

This location is incredibly clean and safe. It felt great walking in. Also, the service is award-winning. Anti-Snobbery is humbly embraced and practiced here.

Brewed V60 style:

Colombia - light and bright; and just a bit of earthy spice. The creamy aftertaste reminded me of hot chocolate from childhood, but with a subtle sweetness. Awesome!

Brewed w/ AeroPress

Ethiopia - perfectly ranged cocoa profile is upfront, then I was blasted with citrus, then a mixture with a pleasing aftertaste. This aftertaste occurs quick enough for fast drinkers and lasts long enough for sippers, showcasing the mouthfeel. Zesty, fitting the regional characteristics (checked after tasting). Dead on!!

I drank both at different temperature ranges and experienced supreme quality every sip. NO BAD SOUR AT ALL!!!

I realize everyone tastes differently, but I feel it’s a fact that you can close your eyes; grab a bag here, and experience one of your best home coffee drinking experiences ever. Consistency has to be Luck Bros’ philosophy.

With a roaster like this why bother with subscriptions through big distributors. Sign up with them, or stop in.

Outstanding roasting flavor profiles. Excellent espresso, pour overs and iced coffee. The staff is by far the best set of baristas in Columbus. I wouldn't trust my espresso drinks with any other set of baristas. I've never been let down at luck bros.

One of the Best.

There are a lot of "nice" coffee shops in town now but there are only a handful where I have always received quality customer service and espresso. Luck Bros is one of them.

In fact, they (and my other favorites) have served me quality drinks so consistently that I have an irrational fear of one day being disappointed. How can they keep the "bar" (not the espresso bar :-) so high??

Order the "flight" and stay a while. You won't be disappointed.
Flight - espresso, cappuccino, black ice coffee, chocolate chip cookie.

At places like Luck Bros, I drink straight espresso (never in a paper cup), the classic cappuccino, (no syrups, etc), and at Luck Bros', black ice coffee.

This is stop number five on my Columbus Coffee Experience. Luck Bros had really nice people serving me and welcomed me coming in. The coffee and everything bagel with cream cheese was good. It is a nice place to read and listen to the background music if you like to feel a vibe of a coffee shop. This is a win!

Takes me 20-25 minutes to get here, I pop in about twice a month.

The Coffee: fantastic. Andy is a skilled roaster. I usually get a Clever; the espresso I had here was sweet, smooth, without a hint of bitterness. Splendid.
The Staff: Skilled, enthusiastic. I've never suffered blase hipster service here- never.
Ambiance: Good. Not tragically hip, not distracting. Vinyl soundtrack keeps the place from sounding at all corporate.
Clientele: Laptop Workers. Friends catching up. Lots of moms coming in buying iced drinks. Everybody's chill.

If this was my place I'd add a bookshelf/ book exchange in the cafe and offer periodic coffee classes for coffee nerds.
