Winans Coffee & Chocolate

A great location. Indoor seating is adequate, and supplemented by some outdoor seats as well. Parking is plentiful, which isn't common for the area. I didn't try any of their chocolate, but the coffee itself was great; some of the best I've had in almost half a decade of living in Ohio. It almost had me feeling like I was in Seattle again.

Whenever I stop into Winans the staff is always wonderful. Often I ask for suggestions for whatever I am feeling that day and they have never disappointed. I absolutely love the Wurtle but have recently started ordering sugar free options and I haven't found one that I do not like yet. I have never stayed inside long, I'm typically in and out, but I often see folks working on laptops and the environment seems quiet enough to focus on their work. Very awesome and local shop!

2024 update: Still the same amazing service and they make quick work of the morning rush. Thanks to everyone there for fueling us with great drinks!

I love all the locations of Winans, they all have their own unique space but the same quality every time. The chocolates are amazing and the coffee is always great! I like the seasonal variations they come up with. Highly recommend for anyone in Columbus or visiting.

so i tried to go in to buy chocolates and the associate working didn’t speak to me or even look at me he just continued to clean around me. i felt so uncomfortable so i left. that was my first experience there so i’m just gonna assume it was a bad day and still give you 5 stars! i hope next time i go someone actually speaks to me so i can order some chocolate! everything looked very good

One of my favorite places to study at and get work done, and a treasured coffeeshop/study gem for OSU medical students. Their spicy chai latte is the best chai drink in Columbus. They also have excellent coffees, specialty lattes, and chocolates. The staff are always friendly and make drinks well. The space is lovely - open-concept with big windows - and I can usually find a spot to sit, even during peak hours. They are also dog friendly, so you may see some cute neighborhood dogs while stopping through!

I was not a fan of the buckeye apple, the flavors did not mix well for me, but everything else is delicious.

Definitely the best coffee/wine place in Columbus!

Excellent chocolates- picked a sample of 5 types: the buckeye, raspberry cream, honeycomb, meltaway, salted caramel. They were all great but the meltaway was my favorite. The cortado was also really good and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

Did some studying here and grabbed coffee/chocolate. The coffee was very good, and the chocolate makes a great gift. Ample seating, never too busy or loud. One concern I had was no free wifi that I could find to connect, but I used a mobile hotspot with no problem. Parking is easy given it has dedicated lot in the rear.

Everything I have had here is great! The staff have always been friendly and helpful! They personally helped me pick out a wine for a graduation gift and one time the barista made a personal flavored tea for me to try. I love the coffee and have purchased freshly ground beans as gifts multiple times. Definitely recommend

The best coffee shop in all of Columbus! I've tried other shops like Stauf's, Mission, and others, but this is by far my favorite. The staff is incredible, the food is great, and the coffee is off the charts amazing! They always have so many flavors to choose from and their seasonal options are fantastic. Their chocolates are the best around; I'll be visiting often, that's for sure!

I love the place especially being located in German Village it gives off such a welcoming and warming vibe. Their prices are great and the chocolate is even better. Some coffee and chocolate shops are located in tight corridors, however, this is a bigger sized shop that can accommodate many disabilities if needed. I will definitely be going back there when I have a sweet tooth.

I feel like not enough people talk about this place! This cafe's atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxing. I went here on Valentine's Day and cannot wait to go back. My fiance and I did a wine and chocolate pairing that was exceptional. I would definitely recommend!
