We went here for dinner the other night and my wife and I were both impressed with our meals. I got the clever burger and it had the most delicious, thick, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly bacon on it. My wife got the beef melt sandwich. We split the whipped feta as an appetizer. All of it was great! Cocktails were strong. And beer selection was pretty decent. We’ll definitely be coming back!

First impression.... where are all the folks?? Thursday night pretty empty.
QUICK service. Excellent food. The feta dip is a must get, but not for those calorie conscious. Bread is toast& buttery. Feta is creamy & rich. Steak salad was perfect. Enough steak cooked as ordered.The dessert menu is limited. So are vegetarian options.

Came in for brunch today and everything was absolutely delicious! The whipped feta was unbelievable with warm focaccia. I could eat that every day! The kielbasa in the Brekkie Hash was so good that we went immediately to The Butcher and the Grocer to take some home with us! The staff was very friendly and inviting. Our server made me a mocktail that was so refreshing and the lists of cocktails all looked great. We can't wait to come back for dinner and try out more!

Delicious meats! Tried a few different sandwiches and enjoyed all of them. I think we had the cubano, roast beef, and brother burger. Huge portions!

This was a great spot! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, food was great and really reasonably priced.

Corban was our host and server and treated us great!

Definitely start with the Whipped Feta and the Focaccia (it's a MUST)!

Favorite new spot! Great food, creative drinks and amazing service. Had a wonderfully relaxed meal on the patio and was blown away by the incredible food. Can’t stop thinking about the mushrooms and my husband has been craving their Cuban for weeks.

This was a great find...

The breakfasts were really good. Wifie had their big breakfast which looked great and she really enjoyed it. The sausage was awesome... I had poutine served in an iron skillet which was incredible. The service was spot on. It has a neat interior so it could be casual but still be upscale which make it suitable for any kind of meal

One of the best restaurants in Grandview and possibly Columbus! The staff is amazing and so wonderful. They are quick, very observant, beyond friendly, and have great and honest recommendations. The food is phenomenal, and so fresh. My fiancé and I went back to back weekends because we were so impressed. What a great collaboration between the butcher and the grocer! If you haven’t tried this restaurant yet you are absolutely missing out!

Cleaver is no question one of the absolute best restaurants that Columbus has to offer. The quality of ingredients they start with very quickly adds up to one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Burger, Cubano, fries, hush puppies, and the meatballs... My lord. My only regret is that we didn't go sooner!

Uniquely delicious. Not your ordinary butcher shop with some meat plates. Handcrafted burgers, unique sandwiches and maybe the best Scotch Eggs in town! Over the top friendly, quick, service at a very competitive pricing point! Cozy interior with a few TVS at the bar and solid soft music in the background.

Attended a dinner party on a Friday. All of the food was excellent as was the service. Favorite dish was the grits. Great depth of flavor. Couldn't recommend this restaurant more. We will definitely be back!

First time here just for a bite to eat on the patio for a friend's bday. Absolutely LOVED IT. There was one server but he was attentive and quick with everyone on the patio. Food did not take long at all and it tasted sooooo good. Love that they partner with The Butcher and the Grocer to source ethically raised meats, and they use organic when they can for their menu. I will be back!

Absolutely a magical blend of flavors in my bowl this evening. I had the steak salad. He had the burger. All of the flavors were spot on-not one overwhelmed the other. A perfect harmony. And then there are the fries. Are you kidding me with the house made ketchup? Thank you for a lovely experience dining out that just set the bar at a new level. And did I mention the service? Grace was attentive, helpful, and oh so on top of all of our requests. We will be back. Nothing but a delightful experience all around.

This restaurant is the definition of farm-to-table. The burger and the meatballs were juicy and packed with flavor. Excited to try one of their steaks next time!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our meal at the Old Spot. Our meals were both good as were the drinks. The local beer list is very well chosen, and the space is very nice with a great bar and a very nice patio.

The Old Spot is a great addition to the Grandview restaurant scene! I've eaten here multiple times and am consistently impressed. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch!

I love trying the new daily specials - there is always something unique and delicious (like shrimp and grits or bacon-wrapped scallops). The regular menu also features solid dishes: the flavor of the smoked wings is perfect; the Old Spot Salad is large and filling (bacon + goat cheese = divine!); the burger is HUGE with the perfect portion of toppings; the rice bowl with pork and a ton of fresh vegetables is a lighter dish but doesn't skimp on flavor; the meat pie hits my comfort food craving - there is a ton of meat in that pie! I also love the charcuter-vee board - this is a creative take on a traditional charcuterie board that features vegetarian options like small salads, pickled vegetables, and an assortment of cheeses - it is always different and SO good; there is enough on the board that this even works for your meal, not just an appetizer to share. Be sure to leave room for dessert - the homemade oatmeal cream pie is worth it.

I can't wait to continue trying the daily specials and to see what new creative food comes out!

I had the pork chop and my wife had the chicken pad thi. Both where very good, will definitely go again. Our server was excellent.

This is what those of us in Grandview Yard have been waiting years for - a locally sourced, relaxed, and walkable restaurant right around the corner. Cleaver hit the nail on the head; from it’s warm, early 1900s vibe to its exclusive bourbon list, this restaurants food and feel will not disappoint.

Dynamite food. Pork belly on the burger was off the charts tender and yummy. Unlikely star of the show was the side salad with a creamy, tangy sweet dressing.

This was an incredible experience, we were a large group, and from start to finish it was an top notch, the food was amazing, we ordered one of all the small plates and apps we shared those as a group each one was better than the last. I had the pork chop it was cooked perfectly, the size was very generous, and service was impeccable. Everyone on our group raved about their meals and everything looked and tasted delish. It can be difficult to get 15 dishes out at the same time while still providing top notch service. Cleaver executed that beautifully last night. If you haven’t tried this place, you need to get in there and check it out. Food and service A++. Well done team Cleaver!!!!
