Gus's Drive-In

Looking for somewhere to have lunch other than a fast food chain. Came across Gus’s Drive -In (East Troy WI) So happy to have stopped here. The folks behind the counter were so friendly & made us feel welcomed. Extremely clean environment with perfect decor & great quality food for a drive-in. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the East Troy area!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Gus’s before because I've been coming here for years. They have such good service here and they’re always really fast despite being busy literally all the time. The food is always fresh and delicious and their portions are really generous. Today I had probably the best fish fry of my life so I had to leave a review! We usually order a gyro and I split it with my son because they’re gigantic. My husband loves their burgers, and the chive fries are a favorite. I love the online ordering system because it’s super easy and quick!

Very cool place to go. We where in town for vacation and seen this place. Was a Saturday night. They have car shows every Saturday. Food was pretty good, drive in type burgers, dogs, chicken fingers, ect. Price wasn't too bad and service was pretty good for the big crowd they had. I would recommend checking it out.

Gus opened when I lived here as a teenager back in the mid 2000s and I used to frequent it back then. Moved to the American SW in 2006. I moved back in winter 2020. I get Gus’s usually once a week, sometimes 3 times a week… between the Chicago Dogs, the Gyros, and cheeseburgers I am set every day of the week. Gus is usually there and there is always a friendly face! The food is outstanding. I usually order online and it’s ready on time every time.

It is worth driving out of our way for! Unique restaurant and fun vibes. Owner and staff are such great people and the food was just as good. Owner is greek so I had to get the gyro and it went great with a mint shake.

Had the Fish Fry. 2 pieces. It's perfect for me! No leftovers! Everything tasted like it should and it was Hot!! The food came pretty quickly. The dinner was clean and a table was available upon entrance. I especially loved the homemade coleslaw!! Creamy just like my moms!!

So, I've pretty much tried everything on their menu, and it's all good. Don't expect onion rings on Fridays. The fryers are busy with their delicious fish fry and fries. Chicken is also amazing if you can stand a little wait. Get some chili cheese fries to hold you over. Trust me, it's worth it. Don't forget a brownie sundae! I drive an hour for this place...I wouldn't send you here if it wasn't fantastic.

Closing date is December 16th for the 2023 season so hurry up and get here!

Ordered the Broasted Chicken with cheese fries and a Gyro sandwich. Hubby
said Gyro meat was very tasty and tender

Perfect American small town dinner. The food is consistently great and I love the old classic cars and motorcycles that come cruising in making the whole atmosphere fun and relaxing to be at. Overall a great place to hang out.

Frist time visit and enjoyed it. Menu gives you much to chose from. Loved the Heavy Chevy burger and fries combo. Did not leave hungry

We stopped here for a late lunch after my son’s neurologist appointment. Never even heard of this place before, what a cool surprise!! The decor is bright with a lot to look at but incredibly clean & not over crowded with obstacles (important for my disabled son). Staff were friendly & informative. Food tasted fresh & delicious & was fairly priced. Obviously a well liked place because it was fairly busy for late afternoon (around 2PM) on a weekday, especially given its location. Very family friendly. We will definitely be back.

Only wish I could of thought to take some pics cuz they were worthy of it. Talk about the BEST-BEEF SANDWICH, I could of ever had. I grew up by the back of the yards, the old neighborhood in Chicago where these types of Beef sands are a dime a dozen and I'm going to tell you this place by far has any beef stand beat In Southern Wisconsin. Thank you Gus.

Finally made it in for an amazing fish fry Friday! Food is always delicious here!!

This little place is awesome. It has amazing food and frozen custard treats, not to mention an amazing car show on Saturdays. If you have a show car, try to get here early

My family and I were here 2 days ago and it was such a refreshing environment! All of our food came out fast and tasted great! Gus himself was nothing short of amazing! Smiling at all who came in, making everyone feel welcome. Definitely recommending this to all friends and family!

Very fun place to take your classic car on Saturday evenings cruise night. Fresh tasty drive in food items and ice cream treats for very reasonable prices.

The food was absolutely fabulous! Unlike most owners, this gentleman worked hard instead of kicking back. He also was a completely delight. Amazing atmosphere, clean, wonderful music... looking forward to returning, for their Saturday car shows!💗

This is a great place to grab a burger. The atmosphere is retro and unique. If you like cars, stop in on Saturday nights and you can see some awesome rides. They also have good ice cream if you need something refreshing on a summer day.

1950's-60's themed old school drive in with all the atmosphere, and even a few arcade games as well. Awesome malts, great gyros, and good burgers.

Amazing food and so glad Gus’s was open this late in the year…
