Contessa's On The Lake

Had food from here for the first time as of last night and it was excellent! I got to see them bring my pizza out of the oven and it looked incredible. The whole family enjoyed it and we’ll be back for sure!

This is a great little family owned weekend breakfast spot! You can get take out meals most week nights. Contessa's is also such a great supporter of the community! Try them out!

Today I had the pleasure of being introduced to contessa in the lake. I was questioning the location because I had simply never seen it before. Upon arriving the indoor was inviting and the aroma outside was astounding and had my mouth watering, on the phone the wait time was expected to be 25 minutes but when I arrived in 15 they had almost everything ready. Service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and when the man behind the pizza window said merry Christmas and smiled I really felt like he meant it. All in all, 10/10 highly recommend

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would! I ordered the ricotta stuffed shells, with a side of macaroni and cheese. My plate was literally clean in a matter of minutes! Kudos to the owner Rich! He was super awesome, and his food is phenomenal! Thanks again for your amazing service! Highly recommend!

Excellent Restaurant in chippewa lake. Everything on menu great you can't go wrong. In what you order large selection all delicious.

I heard about this place from a friend of mine that works here. I Stopped in last Saturday got a western omelette & coffee that was a pretty good deal. I heard the pancakes are pretty large the size of large pizza box. I recommend stopping by this family owned business. Thanks good food & freindly service. I'm Looking forward to the next time stop in trying a few other things on their menu.

Their food is delicious and very reasonable. Great comfort food. Their chicken dinners are the best by far.

First time we ordered from here. Live by Medina Square and googled Meatball Subs near me (Found this hidden gem 4 miles away). The best fried chicken we have EVER had. The sides were big and delicious. We had the Mac and Cheese, JoJos, and Green Beans. All of them were delicious. Also got a Large Pepperoni pizza, unique taste and also VERY GOOD. This place is a MUST. We will be back again and again.

Amazing home cooked breakfast! Huge portions for a great price. Love this place. The family that owns and operates it are lovely.

Contessa's on The Lake is fantastic!!! Homemade and delicious. First time customer (visitor). Ordered the 8 Piece Chicken with creamy coleslaw, Smokehouse Beans, potato wedges and breadsticks. The Staff did a wonderful job of making us feel "at home". Nice job everyone!!

Tried it for the first time tonight. The fried chicken was excellent. The grilled chicken salad was very enjoyable. My kids loved the plain cheese pizza and contessa’s made it perfectly as we ordered it; with light cheese and light sauce. Finished it off with some breadsticks. Since moving to Medina recently from the west coast, this was the first take out food that we enjoyed so much that we’re committed to being regulars.

Went here yesterday and I was amazed. The interior was bright, colorful, and felt very welcomed. The staff was amazing as well, very friendly and nice. I gave a $5 tip and haven't eaten the food yet. Brought it home and when I tried it, the money I paid for it felt very much worth it. The pizza is very clean, you're guaranteed no cheese is going to tear off the pizza. Would highly recommend this place.

I will for sure be coming back! Such friendly people here and excellent food. This place has the great pizza crust and sauce so it is a great foundation to any pizza place. Better than any other places I have tried recently! Wings were pretty delicious too!

Update: Had the Mac and cheese pizza and wow it is fantastic!!

A good friend recommended Contessa's, and I'm glad he did. We tried the fried chicken, with grilled, marinated veggies and mac-&-cheese.
I was told 25 minutes, and at 25 minutes the food was ready to go, piping hot.
The owners are nice, friendly people, happy to answer any questions.

The chicken was still hot when I got home...crunchy skin...great flavor...and moist. The veggies were the perfect side dish.
We'll definitely be back...anxious to try the pizza.

Came back the next week for the pizza...we're just a short drive away, but I'd drive to the next county for this pizza. Real pizza is defined by the crust and the sauce, and both are terrific...[on a par with Samosky's, which wins national competitions]...twice the cheese you'd expect, and the toppings are fresh and generous.

[One small minus...we got the large chef salad, and the 'mixed lettuce' wasn't mixed greens but iceberg lettuce with cabbage and carrots...if this was 'large', 'small' would be microscopic...]

Always amazing! The chicken parmesan and lasagna are the best we've ever had. Nothing comes close! Not to mention the portions are very generous for the price. We will always continue to support them
