Lima Park & Recreation Division

The Lima area is fortunate to have a number of great parks with playgrounds, paths to walk, fishing and other recreational activities. Recently we attended the Star Spangled Spectacular at Faurot Park and enjoyed and appreciated the well-maintained grounds. We loved the recent improvements which include new playground equipment and sidewalk along North Shore Drive. It's pretty in the park year round, but our favorite time is in the fall with all of the beautiful trees. We appreciate the city for funding it and the people who maintain it.

I used to come to this park as a kid 40+ years ago. I recently visited Lima and brought my kids here to show them a piece of my childhood. They had a blast. It was good to see there was still a park here. The only knock I would give it was the tall weeds all around the pond.

Collett street tennis courts are one of the cities finest jewels. As I watch tennis worldwide grow its nice to have our state of the art facilities. 10 free courts and a thriving tennis community means there's always something happening.

I coach a soccer team and this place is great. Big open space and the kiddos love it

The park I visited was very nice. It was very clean, also. There is access to fishing and walking trails. The shelter houses were nice and clean, including the tables in the shelter house.

Need to update date septic tanks, had to close restrooms cause couldn't handle the crowd going in on the 4th of July. Other then that it's a great park.

Ah how I love this place there's just one thing *DONT* LET THE KIDS IN THE FOUNTAIN SINK LOOKING THING kids pee in there a *LOT*

Kids loved to play at the park .. Bad thing there was a van just sitting by bathroom watching he lefted but it was scary
