Jaclynn and her team were nothing but amazing to work with! From our initial conversations to working through the day-of timeline of my wedding with hair and makeup for 12 people, she put me at ease throughout the planning process. I did a trial with Jaclynn a few months before my wedding and it turned out beautifully! The day of our wedding on Block Island, there was inclement weather limiting the ferry schedule that day. Jaclynn went absolutely above and beyond to make sure my bridal party was taken care of on my wedding day. She was able to recreate the look from my trial and everyone in my party was really happy with the work they did. Her team is professional, flexible, and very talented. She made sure I was able to relax and enjoy getting ready for my big day. I would highly recommend Jaclynn and her team to anyone planning a wedding!

Jaclynn and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with! They did hair and makeup for a group of 9 of us the morning of the wedding and they were so timely and efficient - even leaving time for extra touch ups for everyone! I did a trial with Jaclynn a couple of months before the wedding and we were able to tweak and make minor adjustments to the hair and makeup for the day of. It turned out so great! Both my hair and makeup did not budge the entire night- even through taking pictures in the rain! Absolutely would recommend Jaclynn and her team to anyone looking for excellent, second to none hair and makeup for their wedding or any special event.

Loved working with Jaclynn and her team! Jaclynn was quick to respond to my emails and questions, and she was flexible with the timeline when I needed to adjust it. Jaclynn Kate's team did hair and make up for my wedding and I am so pleased. A team of three women came for several hours to do hair and make up for myself, six bridesmaids, the MOG and MOB and everyone was so impressed with the work they did. They were punctual, professional, and talented. I did a trial before the big day and my artist listened well and made me feel comfortable. On the wedding day, it felt like she was there just for me and was able to replicate what we did at the trial with no input from me. Her confidence and precision allowed me to relax with a few less decisions to make on that day!

Caitlin and Jaclynn were amazing! Jaclynn was very responsive and helped me book hair and makeup for my bridal party. Caitlin was my stylist and absolutely killed it with my hair and makeup. I have never felt more beautiful! This salon came recommended to me by my photographer and I can see why. Jaclynn is the BEST hair stylist I have met by far. Extremely talented and always leaves my hair exactly the way I asked for and wanted. She’s very knowledgeable when it comes to this industry and has literally changed my hair for the better, it has never looked this good no exaggeration. Her salon is also very relaxing as they only accept clients based on appointments. Her business partner Caitlin is another extremely talented makeup artist and hair stylist. I get my lashes done by her and get compliments nonstop on them. I never leave reviews but had to this time around as I have struggled to find a good salon for years and am so grateful I came across Jaclynn and Caitlin. Their prices are also VERY reasonable. I have been to other salons who charge the same amount if not double or more than they do and don’t do half as good of a job. If you’ve struggled like me to find a good salon definitely give this one a shot, you won’t be disappointed! They’re also very friendly and funny, great service!

I worked with Jaclynn for scheduling and Caitlin for hair and makeup for myself and my mother-in-law. They are both such sweet, down to earth ladies and Jaclynn is the only vendor that reached out to me with a phone call to introduce herself and ask me about what I wanted. They made the experience stress-free and were very flexible. I originally wanted only hair and to do my own make-up, and they were so sweet in offering to give me a consultation to help me with figuring out what makeup look I wanted to achieve. After seeing Caitlin work her magic, I knew it would be better to have her do it and both her and Jaclynn were so understanding about the last minute change.
The day of the wedding was anxiety-free! Caitlin is so much fun to talk to, and really puts you at ease. My mother-in-law speaks no English, but Caitlin was very patient and sweet about working with us to figure out exactly the look my mother wanted. Both the hair and makeup were beautiful and fit the look of the dress and ceremony. Caitlin was awesome at creating a look that was very glamorous, but was also still very me and not overly done. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, and will be going back if I need to get glammed up for other formal events!

I used Jaclynn Kate for my wedding day. I had Caitlin as my makeup artist. The day was very hot, but you wouldn’t have known looking at me since my makeup looked flawless. Jaclynn & her staff were very professional, polite and have done the best work I've seen. As a Realtor I am always moving people into the area and Jaclynn Kate is the only salon that I recommend my clients to. She also does on location hair and makeup for weddings and events! I have been going to Jaclynn Kate for over 2 years religiously now for color and hair extensions. She is a WIZ with both. Also, I own my own business and its tough for me to get out of my shop. She has always been soooo accomodating in scheduling me around my schedule. Young team who keep up on all the latest techniques in hair, make up....lash extensions. The list goes on! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The salon is really cute and tidy!!! All the staff are really welcoming. Kaydee usually gives me a trim, touches up my angles and layers, and touches up my bangs. She's very thorough and does and excellent job to make sure you are happy. But really all the staff are great :)

I have nothing but good things to say about the Jaclynn Kate Hair & makeup artistry salon. The girls are super friendly and great at what they do. My hair looks fantastic and I found an amazing deal on Groupon, must check it out.

How have I not reviewed yet?! Jaclynn is amazing and I always come away loving my cut! Highly recommended.

Very disappointed

Cancelled a week before my hair and makeup trial, and a month before my wedding. I understand that things happen, but it has caused a lot of stressed trying to find another vendor only a month away from my wedding, because most people are booked. I was very excited to use this team, but sadly I cannot.
