OBO' Italian Table & Bar

Just coming back from Jasper Hawkins' cabin up on the North Fork of the Shamitt just below Krenshaw Ridge with the Marlboro Man himself Kooler Ascanbe, where we reset the trail cams for wolverines. We had planned on stopping in Cowtown for steaks at one of Koolers hideaways but the hunger pains were stronger than old lady Picklepuss...we had to stop and eat.
A quick call to Gizmo Slumpwheeler for restaurant recommendations, and all was set, it was going to be OBO' Italian Table & Bar Restaurant, Gizmo says it's the best Italian restaurant in Sacramento. As it was our exit was just a mile ahead...perfect timing, but not as perfect as the food...it was spectacular! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

A friend brought me here for Sunday brunch. They have a lovely variety of meats, salads, and desserts. My beef shank was tender and flavorful. Of course the dessert was amazing ! Try the Cheesecake with raspberries it has the proper amount of sweetness and smooth texture. I will be returning soon. Thsnk you!

We order with doordash. I don’t know about service and ambiance but the pizza was good. The pizza was tasty. I recommend.

This was my first time eating at OBO and I'm in love! It took me a minute to visit this place because I'm not big into pasta, but I finally did and I was impressed. The prices are great, the atmosphere is casual, the food is fantastic, the staff is awesome!
For our first visit I ordered the Truffle and Mushroom Soup, Beet Salad, salt and rosemary bread, and eggnog cheesecake bar. My fiance ordered a pizza (I forgot which one) and I would recommend it all, with my favorite being the soup. It was phenomenal, the quality you would expect from the Selland Family!
All around a great place with a great staff and fantastic food. I will definitely be going back!

Food came all at the same time. Pasta wasn't as hot as expected, but still the flavors were spot on. I personally had the bolognese and definitely enjoyed it!

Definitely will be back to try out their pizzas!

Street parking is limited. There was a sign for parking for Kru/OBO across the street and said you can validate, but we ended up just parking there (since it was late already) and didn't bother to look into the parking situation.

This is gotta be one of my favorite places for Italian up in the Sacramento area. Service was excellent, Along with a great ambiance. Everything tasted great The pasta was 1st ahead of the pizza... The raspberry cheesecake is a must. We'll definitely have to be back to try more things.
7/2 Another great experience my Spaghetti connoisseur was with me and said definitely Top 10 every tried.

Family friendly European atmosphere with delicious food. Chef complied with my alterations to make my main vegan. Very loud inside but there are outdoor tables as well.

I have been here twice and it hasn't disappointed. I recommend the pasta and the salads.

This place is great. Love the food and atmosphere. Only problem is parking can be a pain. Give yourself an extra five minutes if you're meeting somebody at a specific time.

Parking: Has some very difficult parking especially coming around 5pm or 6pm. During Friday's or weekends mostly is where the parking can be a bit cramped. If you are able to find 1hr or 2hr spots then perfect.

Place: I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the look itself it is most dashing. I really appreciate how you can order desserts and the food and pay at the front. It is most convenient for me to pay first and leave definitely love it. Definitely come around 6 or 7 and eat outside it gives a very nice sunset aesthetic to eating.

Food: I ordered the burrata ravioli and one of their sweet cocktails. My friend ordered their shrimp scampi linguine and cookies. I loved the ravioli and I will absolutely come back again to eat this delicious Italian dish. Also the cookies are to die for as well. The salted caramel cookie is filled with loads of caramel and very soft to eat. The cocktails itself are okay. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but the flavor if the cocktail so far has a nice fruity taste to it which I enjoy.

Atmosphere was great, food was great and fresh, cheesecake was a bit dry but still good, employees were also very helpful.
I'd revoking coming earlier to find parking since there isn't much around the restaurant.

Delish, as usual! We always sit @ the bar & our servers always make our visits extra enjoyable! Drinks, food, more drinks, & then dessert. Always perfect.

Obo has a fun atmosphere. Very good food. Prices have gone up but they have everywhere. You can have something hot or just a salad. They have a nice wine bar. Great place to meet a friend for lunch or dinner..

Great atmosphere and great food! It was pretty busy on the inside but the outside seating was nice! Definitely will be back again to try a different menu item!

Man oh man this place is worth the hype! I had some egg-celent carbonara and my friend got a pizza. Delicious! The restaurant is cafeteria style so you pay for your food and sit down with a number on the table. It’s loud, busy, and casual. Very casual. I will be back for sure!

Love the food, drink, and ambiance of this East Sac casual eatery. While COVID has limited indoor seating, the bistro areas outside make you feel like you're in a quaint European town. I have never been disappointed with the food or dessert. The weekly meal deal (including a bottle of wine!) is also one of the best in Sacramento.

The experience at OBO' is great which is what you would expect from the Selland's Group.
They have their signature market cafe set-up here but with a full bar which is a delightful treat.
The pizzas are amazing, well everything they have is amazing.
We try to come on weekdays to savor the food better with lesser people around.
The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is lively. Our overall experience here is always GREAT!!!
Make sure you sign up for their Friends and Family card and earn points. Register online so if the card is not with you, you still earn points. Last name of the card holder is all they need. This point system works for all their restaurants, a PLUS for foodies like us!!!
I was surprised last year with a slice of cake for my Birthday month.

Freshly made great Italian food. The deserts are delicious and the seating environment is very relaxing. They also have a special dinner for 2 that came with the bottle of wine for $25

Part of the Selland's Cafe chain. Great eatery with a great atmosphere. Very affordable. Located on the very edge of East Sacramento.
