Bake Superior Bread

Really neat little bakery. I love that you can see their ovens from the customer area. Great selection of tasty looking breads. I only wish I lived closer so that I could try them all. The cinnamon swirl loaf that we tried was incredible. We made sure to get the one without frosting so that we could toast slices of it for breakfast. I almost think it would have been too sweet with the frosting.

So sad they closed. They had amazing pastries, bread, and sandwiches. I always looked forward to my once monthly Saturday shift because I would treat myself afterwards with pastries. :)

I found Bake Superior Bread on Instagram and during our vacation made it a point to stop by and I am so glad I did. Everything we bought has been amazing. I wish we were local!

Bought Ginger bread cookies and the best I ever had!

Thrilled to discover this bakery on our last trip to my hometown. The pastries and bread are delicious. And the fact that they are nut free is a BIG bonus for our family! My son has a tree nut allergy - he was super excited that he could pick anything he wanted here and feel safe.

I LOVED this little bakery!! I personally feel more people should take the time to shop these places instead of one stop supermarket shops. Anyway, here on vacation and saw it the first day we were in town and it was closed. We made a special trip in and we're not disappointed!! Super clean, super friendly and the baked goods were so good we made a special trip back in!! Sour dough bread makes FABULOUS grilled cheese, the cinnamon rolls are to die for and make sure you grab an everything pretzel!!!

Best cinnamon roll type baked good I've ever had! And my sandwich with the cranberry honey almond cheese spread was absolute perfection! Definitely will go here again when in the area!

This little gem was filled with amazing artisan breads and pastries, and the most friendly staff. I tried the cranberry walnut leaving and it was so delicious with a crispy crust....amazing! They just started making sandwiches and I got the turkey with cherry honey butter on a crusty fresh baked French baguette- YUM!! try this awesome fresh bake shop. You won’t regret it!

Diamond in the rough!! Everything here is so wonderful. Everything from bread to cookies to bagels. These people are so special and doing a fabulous job. I travel 30 miles for their products.

This bakery was amazing! The food was fantastic and the service was great! I highly recommend the Danish if you're looking for a good breakfast and the sandwiches are the best! So glad i stopped here, if you are in the area i highly recommend stopping by and getting something to eat

Bagels in Ironwood! These are really good bagels, too! What a great baker! We liked everything we bought including the bread and Hansen's cream soda. Next time I'll take my snack to a bench in the pocket garden. Businesses like this are making Ironwood into a really great town to visit...and probably to live. I hope more business owners move to Ironwood!

Friendly staff, and absolutely delicious bread. Everything was great and inventive. The danishes had a lovely whole grain twist, and delicious filling. The cinnamon swirl and granola bread was stellar and filling. An excellent find, can't wait to go back on our next visit to town.

As guests on Turtle Lake, we were looking for authentic, homemade baked bread and goods and we found it at Bake Superior Bread. You'll kick yourself if you pass up the tarts and scones. That might have very well been the best tart we've ever had! And the scone.. I tried to ignore it but I couldn't and I'm so glad!

We live near Chicago and can’t wait to come up to get their bread. Nowhere else can we find great bread. The owner and wife work their butts off making all kinds of great baked products Their products are exceptional. Filling up the loyalty cards all the time!!!

My favorite place to stop in Ironwood! I particularly love the Sisu Seeded Wheat bread, and my family is a huge fan of their bagels and sandwiches. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic bakery! Delicious bread and pastries! Go here if you want fresh and amazing artisan items! Just be mindful of their hours! ( They close every few days to prep and bake.)

The baked goods, bread and pretzels is not only delicious but the owners are amazing. Family owned and operated and made with great ingredients. Definetly a place to stop and try out. The earlier the better for choices I think. Thursday pretzel day!

Today’s 6/16/21 Roast Beef Sandwich Special on grilled bread was outstanding. The tomato bisque soup was great also. We will be back to enjoy this sandwich again.

I love that they bake with sourdough starter culture and no preservatives. I will never again buy the garbage they call bread at the local grocery stores. Everything i tried there was superb, and it's nice that they offer the cinnamon roll with it without icing. If I ran the bakery, it would be maple cream cheese frosting and all organic...

What an amazing little place in downtown Ironwood! Loved the hummus sandwich. The bread was wonderful - crusty on the outside, soft and lovely inside. Also bought bread to take home that was a big hit with family. Definitely returning!
