Lahti Towing

Always a good experience. I've had to take my mini cooper in a lot for repairs and my jeep for maintenance and they are always great. Highly recommend.

Little late with this review but on Sunday morning (7/16/23) while towing a jeep coming from Montana we broke down east of town. Needed tow and after repairs to transmission and a/c were back on road Tuesday morning. Very helpful and nice people to work with. Greatly appreciated and thank you.

We broke down with our UTV north of Ironwood. Steve came out really quickly and delivered us back to Ironwood and even unloaded my UTV right on my trailer. Lahti Towing is awesome!

Locked the keys in the car at the boat landing on a Sunday afternoon. Arrived in about 30 minutes and had the car open in a couple minutes. Excellent service!!

This group rescued me at a trail head within just seconds. Prompt service and the got me into my car as promised 😀

Very friendly, quick service, and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend! We had our car towed (paid and organized through AAA), and Lahti fixed our flat tire (caught a nail) within ~10 min for $10.

Very helpful. They assisted us with our flat tire from the HUGE pot holes everywhere in Upper Michigan. We hit a rather large one heading to the porcupines and they were there in less than an hour. They did everything they could to help us and the service was phenomenal. (We bent the rim when we hit the pot hole and the nuts were stuck)

Broke down late Saturday afternoon with my truck (cv joint, ball bearings,etc…) wheel ready to come off. Jay open the shop for us and called a part store to open as well to get an axel. Two hours later, back on the road to continue our long distance trip.

We were stranded on ice and snow in the middle of the northwoods after dark. Our Lahti’s driver was so personable and reassuring. Though he had to travel quite a way to reach us, he kept us informed of his eta along the way and was so patient with us! As soon as he reached us he had us on the road within minutes. Great service, great rescuer! Forgot to get his name, but we are so thankful! Absolutely use their services!!!

Jay is one of the kindest and most helpful people you can hope to meet. He will never overcharge you, and will be there when you need him.
Service at this level hardly exists anymore!!
If you need a car repaired or roadside help this is the ONLY place to call.

Jay went above and beyond to try to help my family when we were on a road trip heading back home and had transmission troubles. He was the only guy within 100 miles willing to scan my vehicle to tell me what was wrong. Unfortunately our transmission needs to be replaced. But Jay came up with so many options trying to help us get our family of 8 home to Minnesota. A real genuine individual. His kindness was more than I could have ever expected. I would hands down recommend these guys to anyone.

I had a dodge neon that was having some issues a year ago or so and they took care of me. The owner seemed very nice and was more than fair with his prices.

Blew a tire on my '79 Bronco right on Highway 2, sixty miles from home. Steve was out within 15 minutes and was exceedingly helpful. Helped tow me back to Lahti's, where Ron gave me his full attention and equipped me quickly, fixing up my spare and getting me back on the road. All for a very reasonable fee. Please bring your business here and support these great guys.

I had to have my car pulled out of the ditch. The owner, Kevin was very helpful, nice and caring about my safety. They worked fast and had me out and on my way within minutes. Very nice people and great to deal with. Would 100% recommend.

Driving from Washington state to Alpena, MI. On Hwy 2. just past Marenisco tire went flat..7pm on Saturday night.Discovered rental car had no spare or jack and rental company had no viable options to help out. Called a few businesses in the area hoping someone would be open and might know a tow company. Local fella gave us Lahti Towing name. Left message and Kevin called back very quickly. He was beyond incredibly helpful. His entire family pitched in to help us out. Steve drove out to tow our car to their shop. Kevin was able to buy a new tire for us and even called a few motels to see if he could find a room for us. Unfortunately, everything was booked up(music festival in town). They changed out the tire - found we had been hooked buy a fishing lure (!). Kevin’s family was so welcoming and hospitable. Offered us beverages while we waited and swapped stories with us while we waited in their comfy office. We found a room in Hurley and Kevin filled us in on places to go in the area. He checked up on us later and offered any future help, if needed, when we submit the bill to the rental company. Lahti Towing proved there are decent caring people who will go the extra mile (or 30!) for strangers in need. We will always be thankful for their help and wish them all the best!

Jay from Lahti saved the day. Locked the keys in the car, on a Sunday, all the way out by Norwich Bluff trailhead. He was there within an hour and was able to get the car unlocked. Fair price amazing service.

Steve and Jay at Lahti saved the day for me when my car broke down at the start of a long-distance drive home. I'm very grateful for their kindness, generosity, and great service. My car made it the 600 miles home with no more problems. Thank you again!
