Pat's Foods

This place was impressive -- clean, neat and organized with an efficient layout and a nice presentation. They appeared to have some of everything and it was very easy to find what I was looking for...so much so that I walked up and down most of the aisles just to see what they carried, ultimately exiting with a couple of breakfast items for myself and my wife as we were staying overnight in town.

If I lived in or near Hurley or Ironwood, I'd definitely shop at this place. Recommended !

Always love going to this place! However whoever is making the broasted chicken needs to start wearing a hair net or at least a hat. This is the 5th time in 3 months I've found dark hair in the chicken

Nice store has walk in beer cave nice selection of all sorts of alcohol bevies. Also nice Deli selection and meat dept. Staff is friendly and also has Ace Hardware located inside. Nice to have when all other hardware stores are closed. Hardware also available on Sundays... Has all from paint to plumbing,tools,fans,heaters and make keys too...

Very nice family food store, just the right size, not so big that you can't walk thru the whole store but not so small the everything costs an arm and a leg. The employees are very nice and polite and the store is spotless! They even have a hardware store inside.

This is a tiny little store that has grown. Their deli is perfect! The people who work in the deli are of good standing, they get to know you on a first name basis, and they can be counted on to have your order ready if you call it in or provide prompt service if you just show up. The checkout help is very friendly, funny even, and know where everything is. Their produce is very fresh and they have a nice variety to pick from. Their meat department we are just starting to use as we are overly selective about our meats but what we have had so far has been fresh. They have some off brands that I am unsure of but they also carry a lot of name brands that other stores in our area do not bother to carry. Their liquor department is vast and of good pricing. They also have a small hardware store that we have found ourselves running to at least twice a month when we need items because it is close to home but also because you know they will have the items stocked. They have excellent sales when they put them on! We shop here at least weekly now and instead of running to the larger stores we are also using Pat's as our "forgot one item or need one item" store as well.

I loved that you have a grocery store and hardware store together ❤ there are steaks and across from them the grills. With the beer are the coolers. Loved the experience of shopping there

Great deli and fresh meats! Attached to an Ace Hardware, Pat's also has a beer cave offering nice one-stop shopping, especially for the weekenders! Cheers!

Contrary to what some of the local guides would have you believe this is a nice store with well run perimeter departments (deli, meat, dairy, frozen foods) yes they are a little high on a few things but with small stores it should be expected. Nobody can sell anything as low as WalMart because they bully their vendors into pricing so low. Super One does the same just on a smaller scale. As far as Hardware pricing goes, you can't expect prices like Home Depot or Menards because they are corporate owned and run stores, Ace Hardware like True Value are franchise stores that you buy into owning. So they can't have prices like the "big box stores" because they would eventually price them selves out of business. Finally please remember that when you shop here you are helping keep your friends and neighbors in a job and you are helping a Upper Peninsula company stay in business and keep growing, just my two cents.

It's an Oasis sent from heaven. That staff are friendly and genuine, from the top down. When you live in the remote region of the Pennokee's and it seems to snow everyday in the winter, you really appreciate what you'll find at Pat's Foods! They got it all! You can fix your truck, your shanty, or your snowblower with the hardware selection which is attached to the south wing. I know. Ive done it! A great place to shop!

Always a good visit here. Prices *can* he high on some items, but most are in line with the market. I like when I go there and need something specific in hardware and I ask for it and they are very knowledgable. Always a pleasant visit!

The only place in the area to buy organic shoyu soy sauce, tri-tip steak, good organic pickles, and desert pepper salsa. Staff is friendlier than those I've met at Walmart or that rude old lady at superone.
