Coons Candy

This place truly surprised me! The amount of candy and chocolates was so fun, but they offered quite a bit of other items for gifts that I did not expect! I ended up buying two beautiful glass ornaments for Christmas gifts. They have gorgeous windchimes too! A fun spot and love supporting local!

Wonderful family owned candy shop with great history you can feel coming out of the walls! Service was kind and friendly. Toffee is the best!

We stopped yesterday and got the buy 3 fudge get 1 free! It was amazing. An the ladies welcomed us as soon as we stepped in. Will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Michigan.

Had not had this toffee in about 20 years. Not only is the box the same, the toffee tastes just as I remember. The store was huge, the workers were super friendly and helpful. Enjoyed stopping to bring back all the memories. You can stop here, and also go visit the Swartz covered bridge a few miles down the road. You will not be disappointed in either.

Made a stop into Coons on a road trip down to West Virginia, absolutely loved it - great atmosphere and variety, country-store feel to it, very nice staff. Was impressed by all the different merchandise available, had expected it to be exclusively candy but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth the stop to anyone traveling along US 23!

Such a jewel of a business in Ohio! Such amazing handmade chocolates, fudge, and candies. But the shop also has cute unique decor and kitchen items as well. Talking to the lady at the counter was such fun to learn the history of this shop.
Perfect stop while on our Road trip! Can't wait to return. 🙂

We love going to Coons Candy! They have a lot of the vintage candy you can't find anymore like rock candy, bottle caps, Swedish fish! Always a fun trip......great fudge too!

Lots of homemade candy, sugar free candy, local honey and gifts.

Make sure you try the Raspberry Dark Chocolate, to die for.

We would loved to have been able to stop and grab some goodies but Coons was closed when we drove by.
But I really enjoyed reading the response from the coughing review.
Hopefully next time we are driving thru, on vacation we can grab some candies.

They are very nice and helpful and the candy is great. I will buy items from them again and would recommend this place to everyone!

Lovely interior display and fabulous selection for everyone. From the novelty candy and snack selections to home gifts. I consider this a lovely spot for the holiday shopping season.

The best place to get treats for your sweets, or anyone else for that matter. There chocolate is made to perfection! There treats are made from the finest ingredients! There chocolate coved strawberries are mouthwatering! Not only are there treats amazing, go check out there cold beverages, the jerk is some of the best, and they have cooper mill bbq and jams !!

Best fudge besides my mama's in ohio that you will ever eat... stop by try it.. u will love it..

I have been driving past this place for many years and never stopped. Today I decided to stopped and am very glad I did. This place had about any kind of candy you could want and a very nice selection of items in a large gift shop. The proprietors of the place were very nice. I will definitely be stopping back.

Awesome selection. Great fudge and soap (who'd have thought at a candy store). Saw the signs on a visit home and decided to stop on the way back north. So glad I did. Will definitely return and will probably order from them online.

This place is so much fun! Tons of nostalgic candy. Delicious fudge and toffee. I totally recommend this place.

October, 2017. The English toffee is wonderful. The pecan turtles are even better. Their website allows access to their fantastic candies without having to make the drive but a visit is well worth it. They have a large selection of saltwater taffy and prepackaged candies from name brand candy makers. Their selection of handmade candies is quite large and they have a variety of popcorn, both popped and raw. Non-perishable gifts are also available. Very friendly staff.
