Stopped there for St Patrick's day dinner... great little place with awesome food and great service. I will go back :-)

Best meal I've had in a long time!
My partner and I decided to try this place out for the first time, and we were blown away! Mark was our server and he was so friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. He was able to tell us all about the made-from-scratch sauces and meatballs, along with so many other "family recipe" and homemade options. I was really happy to find how FRESH all of the food was- nothing frozen here! Lots on tap, especially if you're into local breweries and specialty beers. Great cocktail menu too.
Huge portions and really reasonable prices. My boyfriend who always cleans his plate had leftovers for the next day, and he was stuffed! There were so many things on the menu that we wanted to try and sounded amazing, so we will be back soon! Thanks for a great experience Mark!

Wow. Amazing food. First time I’ve been here, the French onion soup was very tasty. The alfredo sauce was out of this world, I never knew it could taste that good! So cheesy! The meatballs were homemade, broke apart easily & had a unique awesome flavor! The sauce was great too. Everything we had, we really enjoyed. I can’t wait to come back & try more dishes! Also, our waitress was very friendly & attentive. Definitely recommend!!!

Best food in Stow. Their pasta sauce is second to none. Love the Lobster Mac as well! Really cannot go wrong. Owners are amazing people and do so much for the community. Of course their service staff are excellent as well. Especially Courtney. Always make you feel at home.😁

Fantastic place for food. Bar looks very nice as well. Menu is varied enough for everyone to be happy. We had French Onion Soup to start. It had a chicken base and not beef, but it was excellent. Followed that up with splitting a Buffalo Chicken Salad, which actually came split in two bowls! Then we split the Bacon Pretzel Burger. Our server, Jessica, was amazing. Very attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She told us about every daily special (we asked) and now we can't wait to go back.

The food is always fantastic here!! The staff are friendly and attentive as well. The meatballs are my personal favorite! Jess is awesome with her attentiveness and she always makes me laugh! Great service, great people, and even better times are had at the tavern. 10/10 would recommend

I recently moved to the area and finally stopped in to check this place out with my father. We had eaten a large meal earlier, so we decided to go with an app and a drink. I was glad to see they have a great selection of local breweries on tap (Missing Mountain, Great Lakes, Headtrip, etc). We went with the Italian Trio per our server's suggestion. All three items (meatballs, ravioli, mozzarella wedges) were amazing! It made us want to come back for a full meal. The service was great as well. After telling our server it was our first visit, the owner came over to welcome us. She took the time to get to know us, tell us the restaurant's story, and made suggestions for other great locally-owned restaurants in the Stow area. We will definitely be back!

Food was really good. Unfortunately out of many foods that were chosen, we had to make changes. Thank you for explaining why as we had not been told the reason. We loved the atmosphere and our server was great. Sorry to hear the this awful pandemic has affected your getting the food you needed. Your menu was really awesome. Will be coming back in the future.

Update: 10/14/17
The new owner has really turned this place around! Food is better, there is a bunch of new tap handles, and atmosphere is awesome! The wings are the best in Stow.

I'm a fan. You can find me here on weekend nights. I'm not ashamed to say.

Its a nice little tavern, but the food needs a bit of work. The new beer selection, however, is a welcome addition! With the new owner's taking over the place, it has improved slowly and surely. I will be sure to edit this as I see fit. Not bad for a little tavern though!

Cozy seating separate from the bar. Staff is friendly and the food is always good. Great selection of sandwiches for a casual bite as well as a good sized dinner menu featuring pasta. Fish and chips are amazing. My whole family is obsessed with the Tavern Chips.

We used to frequent here for Friday lunches, though due to schedule changes, we have had to stop. Took the family last night and was excited to have Elisa take care of us. Always great service from her! Zucchini lasagna, fish and chips, lobster mac n cheese, deep fried mac n cheese bites, and garlic parmesan fries... Yum! Our kids opted for a brownie sundae and cheesecake for dessert - delicious! Local beer selections and a great selection of mules. We'll be back!

If you go here and get Spencer he is an awesome waiter! We got recommendations from him about the the food especially the home made mozzarella sticks, which were delicious! He made us feel welcomed and treated us very nicely as if we were friends. I can not stress enough how good the service he gave us was. The Burgers were very delicious and you could tell that they were fresh and we will be coming back for more!

The Tavern offers a delicious selection of Italian and American cuisine. The menu is kept fresh with new plates and prices are very reasonable. More importantly the proprietors Danny and Kerry make guests feel like family. That combination is all the reason I need to keep returning

We love it there! The owners are just what you want. They always take care of their customer's and they stay involved in the locaL community. It's not a fancy menu but... it's still great American pub food with some nice alternatives like... Garlic Parmesan Fries, crisp and not greasy... my favorite.

Nice little place with good food and friendly service. We found this restaurant during COVID quarantine last year but had never been there in person. Until last night. What a nice variety on the menu and great service. Also like that they have several local beers available. We will be back!

This is an excellent restaurant! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is perfect, and the prices are very reasonable. They do a great job of being both an excellent spot to grab a drink and the perfect place for a family night out. The new owners are adding their own flare and sprucing the place up. It is sure to become a hot spot in Stow!

Great food at a reasonable price. There are many options but the menu definitely leans Italian. All their sauces are homemade. Excellent mainara and unbelievably good meatballs. Quaint little place with a casual atmosphere. A hometown gem for sure.

We have been coming to the Tavern of Stow for a long time; and under Kerry and Dan's ownership the restaurant has flourished. We bring family and friends and they have enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and servers also...Jill, Spencer, and General Manager, Leah, to name a few. Recently The Tavern catered a 75-person celebration of life luncheon for us in our yard. The food was hot and delicious, service was impeccable, and setup and clean up were seamless. All of our guests were raving about The Tavern, and we highly recommend them for dining in the restaurant and event catering. Debbie and Ed Casey

The food isn't too greasy, it tastes great, and the wait staff are attentive and kind. They took my allergy seriously and made sure to check with me what I could eat and whether how my food was prepared was okay. The two previous times we've eaten there were the same great experience.
