Lambert Park

Went to Frank Wright so we always came to Lambert Park. Brothers played baseball here, as well as my son. I took baton twirling classes as well as a kid. The gazebo is nice. The Park is nice.

It's a good sized park with plenty of parking in the shade. No one bothers you if you want to sit in your car or on a bench and enjoy the scenery. But people are super friendly and peaceful. They walk, jog, adults play cards and kids play sports. I recorded this scene of a young coopers hawk munching on a pigeon while trying to fly away with it, landing all around my car in the parking lot. Ended up in the tree above me then took the prey landing on a fence and finally flew away with the left overs. Absolutely awesome. Poor coopers hawk though. They must be losing the deep forests where they belong to end up in such a human-populated place such as this. None-the-less, I feel blessed to have witnessed!

1st time at the park i absolute loved it great. $10 the whole day closes at 6 the beach area! Great place to enjoy with family n friends

This park offers a lot of activities dance games karate ect.... Very clean supervised by our local police nice family park

I enjoy seeing all the dogs park is very clean rhe energy at the park is soo peaceful

New playground equipment and restroom facility look great.

This park has a little of everything, they have a playground for the kids and a small workout section for the adults. They have indoor bathrooms and a dog walking area with dog bag stations. The park also has a sport area for soccer/baseball and a huge field in between for whatever else you feel like doing. The residents are friendly and will usually greet you with a good morning and smiles. There is plenty of parking and shade for picnics. Overall just a nice park, highly recommend a visit for the kids.

We celebrated my older brother's birthday at Lambert Park they have good barbecues they have a good play set for the kids all around I really like the park really good atmosphere for the kids to play

Loved my workout with the equipment and did a stretch, strong, Zumba workout and a walk around the park and school.

Clean and friendly park nestled in a nice residential neighborhood .. quiet area with friendly good natured staff and locals..ample parking and very open atmosphere.. includes two baseball fields, playground for children, workout equipment, and indoor gymnasium ran by the park staff..

Always a nice place to visit. Quiet neighborhood park! Basketball courts indoors, Playground equipment for little kids. Free ample Parking. Baseball/ Softball Diamond etc. Plenty of grass. Bathroom facilities too, stocked with the necessary items. My Highest Rating!

Big little park, within a residential area. Good parking lot plus all the way around it with excellent shade trees. Pleasant community of mostly families with young kids. But there're some old fogies that play dominoes and cards. People are friendly but not bothersome. Adjacent to an elementary school, a nice place to watch some sports games, collect your thoughts and/or get a breath of fresh air. That's right ... NO SMOKING ALOWED! Yeah! Small trail with educational information posted and Indigenous plants. Nice collection of raptors and other birds, i posted some good pics of a Cooper's hawk consuming a pigeon here. One of the best parks in the city!

Has all the basics of a good park. Come here to run around the perimeter on a regular basis. Usually see the Asian and Latino older folk taking walks or walking dogs. I've actually come to study here as well and as long as you don't need internet it works out really well.

We visited Lambert Park to watch an All-Star Little League baseball game. Although the field itself was a challenge for the players because it was a bit uneven and not particularly well cared for, the park itself was good for spectators due to adequate parking, adequate stands and easy access to restrooms.

This park (Lambert Park) in the last few year has been getting some nice upgrade like new kiosk for for picnics/party and adding a lot of local native plants in and around the park and in some areas with information about the native plants. Recreational Center whit indoor basketball court.baseball field for little Leaguers and playgrounds for the kiddos. Lots of parking in and around the park.

Grew up in the area around this park it is one of the most chill parks in the El Monte area and I have many good memories including my first kiss at 9 years old here haha.. Also played flag football,basketball,and soccer at this park back in the days. This park has a basketball gym that I grew up playing at and looking back I am lucky to have had a place like this to play bball as a kid. Will always love this park. Not to mention they have 2 baseball fields for younger little league baseball teams. Very sports friendly park many good memories here although it looks alot better now that alot has been added on. Overall q chill park but maybe that's just for me because I grew up here but see for yourself and visit

It's a nice place to walk along and get some peace time. Last time I came the restroom is not opend because it's too early. But the restroom was really not neat at all.

We have enjoyed going to Lambert Park and having a picnic several times. There is a nice view from there of Mt. Baldy.There is a playground area, sprots fields, and an indoor sports facility. There is a large community building that has an auditorium, meeting rooms, and a kitchen. There are sports leagues here. Even if vistiing, its fun to watch the little laaguers play. They are good and this year (2015) made it into the AAA Championship Game.It is next door to Frank Lloyd Wright School so the park is a popular one for neighborhood families.
