Our infant has Leukemia. In cancer support groups, a common theme seems to be parents raising alarm bells and PCPs ignoring them. Dr. Vitone took our concerns seriously, did blood work, and because of that seriousness of concern, doctors were able to catch and treat the cancer early. Obviously ours is a rare scenario, but we are forever grateful that Dr. Vitone took our concerns seriously and investigated the causes of a very long, strange illness. She has earned our trust.
