We hired Saul to paint the exterior of our home in Carmel Valley and one room inside. The work included stucco, trim, garage door, exterior doors, and gate. We really appreciate the attention to detail. Saul came in person for the estimate. He helped us understand the HOA color scheme and paint quality options with Dunn Edwards. The same day, he provided a professional email quote that confirmed that he understood the scope of work. On the first day of work, his team power washed the house. The house was so clean it almost looked new. On the second day they patched every visible flaw in the stucco and masked for painting. Saul and his crew were also meticulous in sanding the exterior doors to make sure the finish would be perfect. The team was polite, respectful, and professional. I chose Saul's team to paint the exterior of my house and detached garage, which were in sad shape, at a very fair/competitive price. They worked with us on scheduling and showed up and completed the work with no hassles; completed the job on time and did excellent work for a fair price. Saul came highly recommended from my father in law who he did an excellent job for 2 years ago. So, we decided to go with Saul for the interior of my house. His quality of work went drastically downhill. He skipped days at a time, sent unknown people to work at the house,
moved furniture and expected us to move it back (refused to work until we moved our furniture back into place) and overall did sloppy work . Saul didn’t finish during his promised time frame, didn’t remove fixtures to paint underneath, demanded early payments, and made a lackluster effort to reconcile after we aired our dissatisfaction. Go with anyone else.
